I love this router. It's easy to use and is quite fast with over 30 devices connected . Haven't experienced any dead zones. If you are looking for a mid tier router , then this is a very good option.

Been running the AC3100's brother (AC3200 tri-band) over a year and it was mostly solid. Setup was painless on the AC3100 EXCEPT for wireless printer. During the 6 or so hours it took to FINALLY get the Dell wireless laser printer to work wirelessly I considered returning this AC3100 router many times. I didn't have any issues with the AC3200 playing nice with this printer. Other than the printer the AC3100 is in line with the AC3200 and unlike so many positive reviews on the AC3100 I'm not seeing a notable gain in coverage. Both routers are good with 250/25 down/up service from my isp. You cannot go wrong with either, unless you have similar problems with setting up your wireless printer. If it wasn't for the printer setup issues I'd rate this router 5 stars but it's only getting 3 due it being a royal pain.

ALl the features that I need at a lesser price than the regular Asus 3100 router. Only difference I could see were 4 less WAN ports. Unimportant for my application. Good performance and easy to install.

Really great router. Good range and feature set. Guest network also. I work and game on it. This is the best router I have purchased.

I've been using this router for some time now and its really good, works better than my old one. The signal is a lot better and internet is faster now.

So after trying several mesh systems, wifi routers and taking 2 hours to hook up everything each time I have I found a wifi router that does the job. Reviewing this router on different sites, it says this is the router to have. I went to the store and was talked into 3 different products from the sales people due to the fact they were not familiar with Asus as a wifi router. I am not mad but I guess now I know. It isn't a huge router compared to the last one and we can appreciate that. The phone app isn't as friendly as other brands but for the price, size and performance we are sticking with this router. Several weeks since we have had it and I am happy with the purchase.

SO I have been looking for a router that can handle the bandwidth of all the devices in my house. My family has multiple devices and it was getting tiresome to have Netflix buffer with a PS4 or XB1 on , and then the game would lag etc. It wasnt the Internet, we had 75mbps near the router, so I finally broke down and bought a high end router. This thing is AMAZING. In my driveway I have 35 mbps. I have a 2600 sq foot home and I have no dead spots. No more game lags even on WIFI and Netflix doesnt have to stop and buffer constantly. Even my Smart TV streams effortlessly. If you can swallow the higher price tag for high end service, this is the router you need. When they say you get what you pay for, this is why.

Great coverage and fast speed for my large home. I had to upgrade for the speed and coverage. This router covers a 5000 square foot home with concrete and solid surface floors

I bought this router off a few reviews i watched. It was supposed to have a very large signal area, I have it in my basement and cannot get good signal in the room right above. Wired connections work great and setup was very easy.

Love this router!! Reaches every room in the house even reaches to the curb. Extremely fast can stream in multiple rooms at the same time without any problems. A little expensive but it's a great investment!!

I'm not a gamer or tech geek in any form, so as far as I can tell, this router is working pretty well. Casts enough signal for our security cameras outside to stay connected, though it doesn't reach the Master Bathroom, a dead spot for our last router as well. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the combination vs separate signal settings (2.4 Hz vs 5 Hz). We tried having it set on the combination mode for simplicity's sake, but seemed to have a lot of signal drops. Switching it to separate signals seems to have fixed that problem.

Bought this to complement another Asus wi-fi router I have. Coverage is great and so is the speed! Really big fan of Asus products and this one does not disappoint! Highly recommended!

Gives you the speed to wireless devices. I no longer have dead spots around the house and can still pick my router when I visit my neighbor over the road ! The price might be higher but it's well worth it.

I installed and set up this router quite easily. It's worked perfectly since day one. It m carries a large load of devices daily for business without any issues. I highly recommend this router.

Very happy with this router so far. It was easy to setup out of the box, and performance has been great. Haven't even scratched the surface for all of the settings, but the interface is nicely laid out.

This router easily handles 2 I phones, 1 iPad , 1 iMac, 2 nooks, 2 smart TV's and an Xbox with no signal/streaming delays. Additional this router is easy to set-up and monitor thought an ap on your phone!

Our old modem-router had reached the end of its useful life. The decision to upgrade/update our data streaming devices came after we found ourselves jumping up and down in response to the odd messages our tv screen was showing - instead of the movies and tv shows we were trying to watch. Our bandwidth throughput needed to be greatly increased. Not only did this router do the job, it was incredibly easy to set up and get running - like nothing I've installed before. Don't let the price tag dissuade you. It is worth twice it's weight in gold. 4K UHD - HERE WE COME!!!

Easy to set up and speeds are right on the mark. Still learning all the features of the router. So far, this is shaping up to be a great purchase.
