3 of us living in a house with a ton of Wifi products from multiple gaming systems , TV,s , phones , computers etc. Our old router could barely keep up with our demands , plugged this in and we have NO issues at all.

I replaced my Time warner cable router/modem with this and paired it with the arris SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0. I could not be happier with my results. I was paying for 50mbps and only downloading at about 15mbps sitting in my couch. My router is in my office about 30 feet from said couch. So for me this was just not acceptable. I went to my local Best Buy and talked to a very helpful gentleman, told him my situation and he seemed confident with selling me this combo. He did not disappoint! I'm now streaming at an average speed of 55mbps on my couch! Even at the farthest point of my house from the setup it's consistently over 30mbps. And it doesn't matter what time of day like TWC suggests being the problem for the slow down! I have recommended this to friends and family since my purchase and their all happy as well. Once you get past spending the money you won't be dissapointed! And you don't have to pay $10 extra per month for theyre junk equipment.

Excellent router. Finally found one that covers my whole house! You can even connect across the street and behind our garage in the alley. Finally! Don’t think of this router as pricey. You get what you pay for and this is well worth it.

We bought this to replace our old Apple router. In so doing we not have lightning fast connections throughout our home. I particularly like the ease of access to the settings and ability to keep our network secure by adding a Guest network and limiting other's access.

My previous device was 2.4/5.0 about 2 years old. I'm using more streaming services and my video playback kept stopping with the dreaded"buffering" message. This device stopped all those problems and extended the range into a bedroom that previously had poor signal.

Asus has improved this unit with its newwest firmware. Great product with great tech support

I am fairly new to home networking, and do not understand a lot of the features, but the setup on this router is super easy, and it is future proof for quite some time. It does not get the range that I was hoping for, but I believe that is do to placement within my home.

Easy setup and solved our WIFI dead spots. No problems since it was installed.

Replaced our ISP router with this one. Setup was super easy, increased coverage to our entire house without using extenders. The router can assign a 2.4 or 5g connection automatically, if your device supports 5g

Upgraded to this from the RT-68U - great coverage throughout the house and easily converted my RT-68U to an access point to provide ideal coverage in our basement. Additional security features built into this router is very nice.

This unit is a mid priced router for better speed working with zoom and other teleconferencing applications. I've had good service from ASUS customer service on a laptop and like this brand.

Easy setup, great range and it has monitoring tools from your mobile device. I purchased this because I was having range issues with my Uverse and Apple routers. This router solved all my problems with network reliability so in the end it was worth the higher cost.

Great product. Very good range. I have mine tucked away in the basement and I get good or better signal throughout the house. It has loads of options, but was very easy to set up and configure. With a house full of smart devices, this router is a must have.

I have this set up on the main floor and reaches up to the second floor with no problem

I bought this router in a fit of frustration and boy am I glad I did. I have an old house with cinder block walks in the basement where our media center is located. I had been using netgear routers for years and up till now never had any complaints. Until we upgraded our tv and audio system. The original netgear just wasn't cutting it and the signal was very weak. I decided to upgrade to the nighthawk X6...not an inexpensive option but thought the netgear name would provide me with a superior experience. Turns out my reception was WORSE with this nearly $300 router. So I bought the ASUS in a fit of frustration and it has worked out tremendously. The reception in my basement is better than ever and I never have lags with loading or buffering. I am extremely pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone having range or reception issues

The router works great. We stream on 1-3 tv's, plus a computer and phones.

Had multiple problems with this router. For price that I paid i would expect it to be outstanding. Constantly had to reboot in order to get a decent speed. I also had to go back to older firmwares because some of the newer ones were worse. A new firmware would come out and I would update to it and would have multiple problems, very frustrating. The routers distance was outstanding, it covered my 2300 Sq foot house.

I love everything about this router. I was able to transfer 10GB of pics/videos to a wired machine from a laptop over WiFi in less than 4 minutes. Drastic improvement over my previous router. Loving the features and everything just works as expected.
