This router is amazing. set it up and ZERO lag. gaming is better, browsing is better. and everything can connect with no issues. ASUS set up is even simply and easy to use.

This router gives me great coverage throughout my home I have approximately 2300 Sq ft and I have no dead spots very pleased with it and it was very easy to set up 5 stars

Definitely notice a wireless performance improvement after installing the router. Install was easy. Coverage within my house is really good. Upgraded from the Asus AC66R.

I love the Asus Routers series this is my second ASUS router the previous router I had was the AC2400 Router unfortunately it got hit by lightning and I had to take advantage of my Geek Squad warranty. Well I have to say I'm happy lightning hit my old router lol. This Router is blazing fast and the range is amazing I can be outside in my garage and be able to stream music outside. I've setup the VPN to access my computer at the house and my files in any location. I put a 2TB USB 3.0 drive and it shared it through out the house with music for the family and also installed backup software to backup phones, tablets and laptops. ASUS has made one of the best mobile apps hands down you can control everything from the app i.e if you have kids and they don't wanna do there chores no worries open up the app click block internet and you can block any device on your network. Business wise it includes trendmicro security malicious site blockling, infected device prevention from the WAN level, adaptive QoS that you can set for on demand voice and video apps. There is so much more this router can do I will say this I've used everything from Netgear, Linksys, Dlink, Trendnet, Belkin, Engenius etc.. While all of those routers are good and have there own pros and cons honestly ASUS I think with all the features and reliability and dependability is one of the best wireless routers and well worth the money you won't be sorry.

Works fairly well for the most part. Sometimes it causes my devices to lose connectivity and I have to reboot it. Needs an update to the firmware.

The AC3100 solved all my coverage issues. It has been installed for over a month and has not gone down once. Multiple streaming is no challenge.

I had to replace my old WiFi router and was confused by all the different models. I went to the store and Chris was very helpful in explaining all the options. When I installed the new router, it was so easy I thought I had missed steps! It has an app to configure the settings and BOOM! It was done! Now I can even get WiFi outside at my pool. Very powerful and easy to set up.

I've been using Asus routers for years and have been extremely satisfied with these routers. The RT-AC3100 is no exception. Got it out of the box, updated to latest firmware and got it going. I've got over 20 devices connected, which are a mix of wired, wireless and a home camera security system. I have FIOS and the router is flawless. A great purchase. Well worth the extra money.

This router was very easy to setup and has been working flawlessly. The added antennas and dual band has helped bring coverage and speed to our home that our older router just couldn't handle. The interface for settings is very easy and intuitive as well. Overall a great router and worth the price.

Router is easy to set up and start using. The signal range is very good but still is a little weak in some remote areas of my home. Very good overall.

My old router was often kicking off several of my devices off the wifi. This router has solved this problem and is much faster and easier to manage.

Outstanding coverage of household. Easy to install and set up. All household devices are able to pick up wifi simultaneously.

While pricy, this router is easy to set up, has great performance and speed, and covers my entire house. Glad I replaced my old Linksys.

Salesman said this would be a big upgrade over the Linksys router I was using. He was right. Coverage and speed are very good.

I have had my router for a year now, currently running Merlin Firmware and she runs like a champ. The Range and speed are unlike any other that I have tried. I get an average of 20mbps down on a 100mbps down connection at about 150/200 yards away on my laptop(Aka my parents two houses down.) I was recently upgrading their wireless as well since I was having issues with dead spots in their basement, they had a netgear 1600 so I started with a extender, then to an netgear 1900, then the night-hawk x6 and none would completley rid the house of dead spots. So I did what I should have from the start and took my router and hooked it up and instanly got coverage in the whole house inside and out, I actually still get usable signal about 50 feet from my doorway. needless to say they probably don't really care as long as they can use the internet but hey I am a pretty happy camper. so I returned the x6 purchased a Asus 3100 running stock firmware and set it up where we run different channels and we have complete coverage between our two houses and everything in between.

Pros:Great coverage over my multi-level 3900 sqft home. Others just didn't do the job. Con: They only thing I don't like is the placement of the wifi button. The button blends so well to the front you don't even notice it's there. I pressed the button on accident when repositioning the router on my shelf. I spent the next 45 minutes or so trying to figure out why I lost my wifi. Haha, I felt silly when I saw the stealthy black button on the front face.
