Very frustrating to get working and i had to have another computer to download drivers. Wish it would have worked straight out of the box but now that its working, It has a lot of features.

The Asus brand is known for quality; and this Prime Z590A Delivers! Also The BIOS is user-friendly, when considering your mobo build. Besides great connections with the Intel 11th Gen CPU, I enjoy the PCI 4, M.2, for Blazing fast SSD!! Also, connected a sound-bar with the optical-linq connector; Great sound, Big improvement and it appears it could even handle a more! BTW, I went with Air-cooled system, After starting Windows, only the CPU fan wasn't recognized, PC would boot to bios until I reviewed bios settings. Web research helpful, its a computer-build so Be resourceful, As the Asus Brand is known for good support. I recommend the product

Also, the lack of Bluetooth features built-in are a bit lame for a modern motherboard in this price point. Anyone that knows the pain of swapping a MB out, getting windows install to work on a new board is sometimes problematic. Now I get to enjoy the process all over again with the next board.

I chose it because it has extra PCI slots in case they're needed. The motherboard looks great and is easy to navigate. Added a M.2 drive recently that has a large heatsink. Unfortunately, the motherboard doesn't come with extra screws under the metal plates, but that was easily solved with a trip to the hardware store. This motherboard received a bios update to support secure boot and Windows 11.

ASUS Prime Z590-A Review

I ended up having to buy a new M.2 SSD and installed Windows from scratch. This was a big improvement over my previous ten year old motherboard. Using an Intel i7-11700KF processor. This thing really flies.

Reviewed with i5-10600k. Great power delivery. If you are looking for the end all be all midtower motherboard, this is a great choice if you like the design.

Asus Prime z590-a
