⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Creative Powerhouse for Professionals! I’ve been using the ASUS ProArt P16 for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly one of the best investments I’ve made for my creative work. As a video editor and graphic designer, I needed a laptop that could handle 4K footage, complex design files, and heavy multitasking without a hitch — and this machine delivers exactly that. The 4K touchscreen is stunning — colors are vivid and accurate, which is a must for color grading and photo editing. The display is also plenty bright, and the touch functionality makes navigating timelines and design interfaces surprisingly smooth. Performance-wise, the Ryzen AI 9 and RTX 4060 combo absolutely flies through rendering and playback. I can scrub through high-resolution footage in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve with zero lag. Plus, the 32GB RAM ensures I can keep multiple big projects open at once without any slowdown. The build quality is solid and professional — not flashy, but very premium. The port selection is generous for creative work: HDMI, USB-C, SD card slot — all the essentials. The keyboard and trackpad feel great too, and the speakers are surprisingly clear and loud for laptop speakers. Overall, the ProArt P16 is a dream machine for creative professionals who need reliability and power on the go. Highly recommended if you want desktop-level performance in a portable form factor!

I had higher hopes for this computer. I really wanted to get a newer version of the MS Surface Book but that is no more, as that comp was perfect for all my needs. This one has some of the features I liked on Surface Book like the touch screen, however, the power and capacity doesn't seem to be performing up to par. From the first couple months of having this comp, it often crashed. It seems the cursor doesn't like to be moved as much as it should allow, else it will freeze and force you to restart; and the restart functions seem frozen too. I often have to fully reboot when there's a crash. Good ole Ctrl Alt Del only works less than half the time. Also the touch screen function which I loved so much on my Surface Book, doesn't work as well as the Book, this one's zoom is too rapid and doesn't seem to follow your paces when zooming in and out, making it hard to get the right size zoom. I tried using it for gaming that requires navigation and was way too fast that it actually gave me vertigo and I became very nauseous. Needless to say I can't play games I want to play on this device. Lastly, I wish there was a color option for the exterior. While black looks good when clean, I have cats that like to be next to me when on my computer. Just a few specs of fur stand out on it a lot. I really want this comp to be better, more reliable and as good as what I had on my Surface Book. I also miss the ability of detaching the screen and using it as a tablet, or reversing the screen as well as having the heat coming from the back of the screen as opposed to the base/keyboard where it tends to overheat more easily.

I purchased the ASUS ProArt P16 after switching from a Macbook Pro 2017. This computer is absolutely amazing, I love the feel of the keyboard, the 4K OLED screen, and the power it delivers. I wanted a powerful computer but not a gaming computer because I also wanted a beautiful screen. This is the perfect balance. The only reason I knock one star off is because there have been a few times where my computer just shuts down randomly, and this happened after I returned my first ASUS within the 14 day grace period and replaced it. Still happens from time to time, but overall it's not too big of an issue and only happens when I walk away from the computer and come back to it. Might just be a glitch and who knows it might get fixed some day.

I'll check back to update this review in the fall of 2025. I bought this for my college student who is a 2D Animation student at SCAD. She had an Apple M2 and Wacom Cintiq 16 that were fine until all of a sudden, they stopped talking to each other. After replacing all the cables and connectors, we realized it was the Wacom Cintiq 16's connection which is strange. She could NOT get it to work, no matter how she tried ... with the Apple Macbook M2. We bought her this ASUS Pro Art P16 and wow. Everything is blazing way faster and more reliably than it was with the Apple. She figured out how to position the setup to keep the Wacom connected and recognized (still, suspect that the Wacom, not even a year old, is the culprit; also purchased at Best Buy - not the best support for the thing unless you buy their membership for $200 a year ... the Wacom is less than a year old). Still, she is SO HAPPY with this machine. It performs WAY faster, the colors better, than her Apple with the Cintiq. When she returns home from this school year, we will ask Wacom to honor the warranty on their device ... and then see how well the ASUS manages to keep up the good work. The ONLY concern she has is how hot the thing runs after animating for very very very long periods of time. Next year is Capstone project year, so she will be truly putting the thing through all the paces. I WILL report back on how well it's working. I love that this is upgradeable with additional memory.

Amazing performance and beautiful screen This laptop is amazing. It’s very fast and handles everything I throw at it with no issues — gaming, multitasking, and everyday work all run smoothly. The Intel Ultra 9 and RTX 5070 combo feels powerful and responsive. The OLED QHD+ 240Hz screen looks incredible. Colors are rich, blacks are deep, and everything feels super smooth. Games look great, and it’s also awesome for watching videos or working. The laptop feels solid and premium, but still slim and easy to carry for such a powerful machine. Thermals are good, and performance stays stable during long sessions. Having 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD is a big plus. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Great performance, great screen, and a clean design.

I'm a software developer and this laptop meets my needs. From the great trackpad, tactile feeling keyboard and an amazing 4k screen this thing does it all. Do yourself a favor and download and run the latest version of G-Helper to tune the laptop to get better power management and battery life. You can play games on this, but realize that the screen is 60hz. The Touchscreen is nice for the times you need it, but the screen doesn't lay flat nor can you put it in tent mode. Keyboard lighting is 4 mode white LED; Off, Low, Mid, and High.

ordered this laptop on release date and got it today ive had my eye on this laptop since announcement day last month and finally got it. Well let me just say it everything ive wanted in a laptop very nice display loud speakers nice comfortable keyboard to type on no numpad not a big deal the build quality is outstanding its smooth feels like a smooth surface has like a semi rubber texture but not rubbery its just good now this display is very bright and brillant i have brightness at 65% even thou its 60hz its still as smooth cant even tell its 60hz, the speakers are loud and clear i havent even had them past 10% due to them being so loud that it feels up my room but they are clear no static or distortion . The battery life is better than expected i left as it came from factory did all my updates did my youtube unboxing video and edited it and for 10:30am to 10:30 pm had 15% left so 12 hours is good for me the touch screen is accurate and the keyboard and mouse are very resonsive with no lag or issues overall this is a great laptop hands down has evrything even the io is perfect so i higly recommend this laptop and you can also turn the discrete 4060 of by putting in eco mode fan noise is very minimal have heard them at all this laptop for me and my needs give it a shot it wont let you down

The ASUS ProArt P16 is an outstanding laptop for professionals. The 16” 4K OLED touchscreen is absolutely stunning, with incredible color accuracy and contrast. Performance is excellent thanks to the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, 32GB of RAM, and the RTX 4060. Everything runs smoothly, even with demanding creative workloads and heavy multitasking. I purchased this as an open-box unit and it arrived in excellent condition, like new, at a great value. I also want to highlight the excellent customer service at Best Buy. The staff was knowledgeable and made the buying experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended.

Great computer! Graphics are outstanding. Really love the big screen and the large track pad as well as how light the computer is! Typing on the keyboard is the best experience I've had with a laptop. I really wish the arrow keys and control button were a bit larger, however. I am enjoying all the different new added keys like the emoji, print screen, and ProArt Hub key. The speakers being on the keyboard is very different than my other computer so that was a change I have to get over. It seemed like it wasn't as loud that way, but it could just be me. The touchscreen is great, but with it not being able to flip backwards, it seems kinda useless to me. The fans run quite often and are a bit louder than I would have thought. But overall, the positives have outweighed the negatives. It is a very fast computer with tons of space, nice aesthetics, great touch keyboard and trackpad, huge screen, and outstanding graphics!

The ProArt P16 is easily one of the best creative-focused laptops I’ve used. The OLED display is bright, color-accurate, and perfect for photo or video work. Premium laptop. Nice screen. 10hrs battery life. Like others have said the screen seems oddly smooth even though it's just 60hz...whatever optimization and scroll settings are working well. Would still prefer a 90hz screen with same optimization. Overall, this compared to the 4k dell xps is an easy win for the asus. Thats without even taking into account that this laptop is much cheaper. The xps is just weirdly designed and way overpriced now.

Incredibly beautiful device. It is, however, a fingerprint magnet. While it’s somewhat easy to wipe off of the lid, the oil from your fingers will discolor the trackpad seemingly irreversibly, and is actually the reason I returned the device. That’s particular of me I know but I just hated this expensive beautiful device making me feel like a slob with a gross looking trackpad and keycaps. That aside, the screen is gorgeous, 32gb of ram is awesome and meets all my needs. Fan noises were very easily controlled with the proart software, whisper mode really was quiet and allowed impressive performance without noise. Battery life was not bad at 6-8 hours of real world use. Surprisingly poor frankly compared to the most recent competition from intel’s core ultras and even a bit worse than other similar devices with the same cpu and gpu like the g16 (with a 240hz OLED panel). Anyway, this guy outperforms the g16 with identical specs, so I suppose the battery life hit can be overlooked. If you can live with fingerprints and oily trackpad, I do recommend it!

Great visuals and sound. This is probably the best Windows laptop I've ever used. I teated this against a gaming laptop with the same processor and this one handled videos/games better. Do not let the 60 FPS scare you. I use Adobe Creative Cloud for work and this thing works like a dream.

I WANTED to love this computer, but I ended up buying the G16 instead. PROS: Screen is AMAZING (even if it's only 60hz) the response time is really good, so the lower refresh rate didn't bother me too much. The speakers are also really good. Although I saw some reviewers online claiming they're still not as good as the G16? but I can't confirm this. Performance while plugged in is great. Battery life in ECO mode (with the DGPU turned off) is also amazing. 8+ hours of light tasks. Keyboard is great, no issue there. CONS: The finish catches fingerprints really easily and it ends up look SUPER greasy. Battery life while using the DGPU is still pretty bad (although I feel like that's more NVIDIA'S fault) If you want excellent battery life and don't care about gaming, just get a macbook pro. For some reason I couldn't get the laptop to full performance on battery. I don't know if this is a power delivery issue or just a BIOS/SOFTWARE limitation, but unless I was using the origianl 200 watt charger I could only get about 30%-40% GPU performance, even in TURBO mode. I personally had major issues with NVIDIA'S NVENC encoder on this laptop. (not sure why) videos I was editing constantly glitched out with colors and blocking artifacts. Also, the 4060 is a little lackluster for video editing. I'd probably go with the 4070 as a minimum for 4k editing. OVERALL: This machine can be good.

I love everything about it so far .. good screen, great performance, the AI is kinda useful, but it is a bit heavy and annoying to carry around.

I bought this laptop nearly a year ago, after my old one was on its last legs. In my honest review of the Asus ProArt P16, I must say it is a pretty good piece of hardware, with a few glaring issues. When I first bought my device and plugged it in fresh out of the box, I couldn't help but notice that it had display issues, mainly flickering, blacking out, rebooting, and shutting off at random, all of which would plague my experience for months. After numerous updates and inquiries with tech support, I can confidently say that my experience with the product has improved significantly. I found myself even more immersed in its seemingly endless capabilities. From the 4K display to the high-quality sound and AI-enhanced user interface, this powerful hardware offers a lot for both creatives and students alike, with lots of power and space to meet their artistic needs, and while I wish it didn't push AI so heavily as a form of creativity, some might view it as a useful crutch via Storycube and CoPilot. Overall, despite some initial challenges, the product has proven to be highly beneficial, and I still find myself discovering new features. The main issues preventing this from being a 5-star product are the display problems, overheating/loud fans, and unexpected reboots/shutdowns. If ASUS can address these issues head-on in future updates and products, then I'm sure even more people will feel confident in purchasing their products, especially if the price is high.

Great laptop. Very clean and minimal design with nice material. Good feeling of typing and smooth touch pad. Performance is more than enough for my work as an architect. Screen is outstanding.

It's been my primary laptop for 10 days. I like it. It has a great touchscreen with pen input (MS protocol). It's quiet and has excellent battery life. The build is MacBook Pro-like, and the speakers are good but not great like those on a MacBook. I use it with an Apple Studio Display via USB-C, which works well. However, I get video call sound disruption occasionally, which is likely due to a compatible driver issue. I use it for productivity work and online meetings. So far so good.
