Note that buying this laptop from this authorized reseller means you aren't eligible for an upgraded warranty from ASUS. You have to seek it out from the reseller. Happy creating!

ASUS ProArt P16 Review – A Creative Powerhouse I’ve been using the ASUS ProArt P16 with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and RTX 4060, and it's a beast for creative work. The 16" 4K OLED touchscreen is stunning—bright, color-accurate, and super responsive. Performance is top-tier with 32GB RAM and a fast 1TB SSD. It handles video editing, 3D rendering, and multitasking with ease. The AI features (Copilot+ PC) are surprisingly useful for speeding up workflow. Build quality is excellent, though the battery life is average given the specs. Verdict: Perfect for creatives who need serious power and display quality.

This has been a very solid laptop so far. Coming from a Lenovo Legion, there are a few things I miss (like the number pad on the keyboard) but the clarity of the screen, color accuracy, the weight of the laptop, the speed of photo processing in adobe, and the quickness of everyday workflows online make this a great laptop for everyday use! I believe it will be the work horse I was looking for in the Lenovo previously. It took me a little while to get used to the glossy screen which can be a pain in very bright rooms, but its easy to see past and when the vibrant colors POP in your photos with such clarity! Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

So far, I'm happy with the Asus ProArt P16 laptop. It's fast, has clear bright screen and has had no issues. It would be even better with a number pad on the keyboard, too bad that's missing (why design engineers, why?). The touchpad is HUGE, too big honestly. Palm resting causes occasional cursor movement issues or pauses. I can't speak to the battery life as I don't take it off charging often. Overall, I'm satisfied with the laptop. I hope it lasts a long time with no issues!

So overall I really am happy with the performance of this laptop. The missing star is for a couple of glitchy startups, the fan getting very loud, and the amount of heat the laptop generates at times.

I bought this for my son to take to college. I was looking for a higher end machine that could handle cad software and not break the bank in doing so. The other ratings mentioned loud fan noise but I don't find it to be. The display is amazing on this machine. I wish it had a higher refresh rate but that's the only gripe I have with this system. Very well crafted and looks and feels high quality. Much preferred over the MacBook Air he had previously.

I bought the ProArt P16 to enhance my work and give me a gaming experience on the go. The processor is top of the line, but not without flaws. The one main flaw that I have noticed is with program load times. My word of caution would be to go through and optimize all of your default settings right out of the box. Fans can be loud at times when performance is pushed. Solid product with decent graphics to boot.

The ASUS ProArt P16 is a great find for the price which supports good graphics for high end software like Matlab and other graphics software. I had some issues for about 3 months with the latest updates it works great with no issues.

Purchased this Computer for my daughter, she’s an Aerospace engineer student and it’s been great with all the programs she needs to download for her major. It’s also fast when she has many tabs open and that’s important!!

My wife uses this laptop daily for graphic design and for creating stationery and greeting cards. It’s incredibly powerful when using Adobe illustrator, and if she ever wants to get into PC gaming, it’s powerful enough to do that as well! Battery seems to last all day.

If not for Best Buy customer service, I would have panned this device into oblivion. The first one I took home was sluggish and started to "blue screen" within the first week. I went through every trouble shooting procedure available and it kept getting worse. Luckily, Best Buy swapped it out. The second one ran a little better, but the screen started to go black randomly for 1 to 3 seconds at a time. Sometimes it would take 3 hours to start happening, sometimes it would start right after startup. Again, tried every troubleshooting procedure out there, and there are a lot of posts about this issue with this device. I finally gave up and took it back to Best Buy, who once again was great, and swapped it out. The third one worked like I imagined it should. Super slick, super-fast and beautiful to look at. My primary use case was a mobile 3D CAD device particularly Fusion 360. Occasional gaming was also a consideration. I love this thing but please buy it from a retailer that is open to easy exchanges.

The wifi module is a Mediatek MT7925, which is not a REAL WiFi 7 compatible radio. it's only capable of 160MHz bandwidth on the 6GHz frequency. WiFi 7 calls for 320MHz. Mediatek actually has a chipset capable of that, the MT79257, but Asus opted to use what is essentially a rebadged WiFi 6E radio instead. They could have also used a Qualcomm NCM865 radio. Asus had options, but they chose save $3 on the cost of parts Battery life is surprisingly short. just doing office work in excel/outlook/bluebeam kills the battery in under 3 hours. it should last longer given that this is a 90wh battery the screen is amazing, but that's not a selling point. you can get this same display panel on a 4k lenovo, dell, razer or pretty much any other high end laptop. i don't know if this is a fluke, but on two occasions now, my laptop refused to start until i plugged into an outlet. battery had over 75% charge both times, but it would not start until i plugged it in. i think it would be better to wait for traditional laptop vendors like dell and HP to release "Ryzen AI" laptops instead of jumping on this.

Its a great looking laptop if you like an all metal body. It looks like a mac without the OS. I run fedora linux on it and everything works out of the box. Battery life is great as well. Palm rejection would have been nice but thats my only con.

Beautiful looking laptop with s beautiful OLED display. 60 hertz is a bit disappointing but the CPU, GPU, Ram combo is pretty hard to beat this price point. I will say it does seem a bit buggy. Trackpad sometime as a delay. Random winndows popping up and cant close them wirhout rebooting the device. I use an M3 air for work and this Pro Art is nowhere near as snappy. I purchased to pro art for my Cyber Security degree starting soon and im still on rhe fence. Going to spin up some VM’s this week and put some more usage on it before i decide whether i’ll return it or not. Just ran all of the updates so we’ll see if that helps at all. I really want to give it 3 stars but im gonna go with 4 and give it the benefit of the doubt, for now.

Handsome computer, the black case is elegant and contemporary. Disappointed no 10-key numeric keypad but can add a wireless one. Speedy and thrilled that I have not seen even one notice of "Not Responding." Only had it a short while, but so far, impressed with its performance.

Purchased for work. So far, very nice. Slick, fast, and quiet. Good value upgrade. Also the screen is absolutely gorgeous. After reviewing hardware for all available laptops, this is the *only* one landing at the msrp perfect value-performance sweet spot this generation, currently mid-late 2024.
