Customers express satisfaction with the ProArt P16 laptop's exceptional screen quality, overall performance, and the speed of its Ryzen AI 9 HX processor. The laptop also receives positive feedback for its good battery life, ample RAM, sleek design, and portability. While the refresh rate is seen as slightly low and the fan can be noisy under heavy use, the heat dissipation is also a minor concern.

I recently purchased this laptop, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. It delivers outstanding performance, handling everything seamlessly. The display is absolutely stunning—sharp, vibrant, and perfect for both work and entertainment.
The build quality feels premium, with attention to detail that adds to its appeal. The battery life is great, comfortably lasting for a couple of days with light usage or a full day of heavy tasks. Overall, this laptop is an excellent investment for anyone seeking power, portability, and an exceptional display in one sleek package. Highly recommended!

I bought the ProArt P16 to enhance my work and give me a gaming experience on the go. The processor is top of the line, but not without flaws. The one main flaw that I have noticed is with program load times. My word of caution would be to go through and optimize all of your default settings right out of the box. Fans can be loud at times when performance is pushed. Solid product with decent graphics to boot.

Got this laptop for college, its a great balance between work and play. The graphics, great for photo and video editing, are backed up by a big, bright OLED display. It works just as well for gaming without being too heavy to tote around campus.

The rtx4060 gpu makes a big difference in photo editing front, particularly on AI generative usage. As a comparison, turn it on or off, the time to complete one AI intensive job, the ratio is 4-5 times. On the flip side, be sure to know how to turn it on using MyAsus app. Otherwise, the device manager cannot see this dGPU. It can be a little noisy under heavy demand, so 16 inch size is better than 14 n ch as it has three fans to desperate the heat. No idea for game For art and content creators (the series is designed for), this is the only series using copilot+ cpu and dGPU found so far. No desktop equivalent either.

This laptop is a work of art. It feels premium and is premium. Built with quality components and is fast. Screen is gorgeous, if it had a faster refresh rate at 4k, it would be the ultimate laptop for artists and gamers. It would take sales away from other asus models. Note: wifi device/chipset too new, so only Windows 11 supported

ASUS ProArt P16 Review: Nearly A Year Later

I bought this laptop nearly a year ago, after my old one was on its last legs. In my honest review of the Asus ProArt P16, I must say it is a pretty good piece of hardware, with a few glaring issues.
When I first bought my device and plugged it in fresh out of the box, I couldn't help but notice that it had display issues, mainly flickering, blacking out, rebooting, and shutting off at random, all of which would plague my experience for months. After numerous updates and inquiries with tech support, I can confidently say that my experience with the product has improved significantly. I found myself even more immersed in its seemingly endless capabilities. From the 4K display to the high-quality sound and AI-enhanced user interface, this powerful hardware offers a lot for both creatives and students alike, with lots of power and space to meet their artistic needs, and while I wish it didn't push AI so heavily as a form of creativity, some might view it as a useful crutch via Storycube and CoPilot.
Overall, despite some initial challenges, the product has proven to be highly beneficial, and I still find myself discovering new features. The main issues preventing this from being a 5-star product are the display problems, overheating/loud fans, and unexpected reboots/shutdowns. If ASUS can address these issues head-on in future updates and products, then I'm sure even more people will feel confident in purchasing their products, especially if the price is high.

I've been so impressed by this laptop. I ordered it for work as my previous laptop was struggling keeping up with my Adobe software and this machine is perfect. The screen is also a great size and the tracking pad is set up with features to assist with video editing.

Very powerful, beautiful display. Handles video editing, photo design gracefully. It would be perfect, imo, if it had a number pad and USB power source.

This is the first time that I've purchased an ASUS product. I'm impressed by the speed and computing power of a very reasonably priced machine. Right now, the capabilities actually EXCEED my needs, but that means that as my need grows, the computer will be able to accommodate those growing needs. It is nice to know that I will not need to replace this computer in 2 years.

Beautiful looking laptop with s beautiful OLED display. 60 hertz is a bit disappointing but the CPU, GPU, Ram combo is pretty hard to beat this price point. I will say it does seem a bit buggy. Trackpad sometime as a delay. Random winndows popping up and cant close them wirhout rebooting the device. I use an M3 air for work and this Pro Art is nowhere near as snappy. I purchased to pro art for my Cyber Security degree starting soon and im still on rhe fence. Going to spin up some VM’s this week and put some more usage on it before i decide whether i’ll return it or not. Just ran all of the updates so we’ll see if that helps at all. I really want to give it 3 stars but im gonna go with 4 and give it the benefit of the doubt, for now.

not actually "WiFi 7". Battery life not great

The wifi module is a Mediatek MT7925, which is not a REAL WiFi 7 compatible radio. it's only capable of 160MHz bandwidth on the 6GHz frequency. WiFi 7 calls for 320MHz. Mediatek actually has a chipset capable of that, the MT79257, but Asus opted to use what is essentially a rebadged WiFi 6E radio instead. They could have also used a Qualcomm NCM865 radio. Asus had options, but they chose save $3 on the cost of parts
Battery life is surprisingly short. just doing office work in excel/outlook/bluebeam kills the battery in under 3 hours. it should last longer given that this is a 90wh battery
the screen is amazing, but that's not a selling point. you can get this same display panel on a 4k lenovo, dell, razer or pretty much any other high end laptop.
i don't know if this is a fluke, but on two occasions now, my laptop refused to start until i plugged into an outlet. battery had over 75% charge both times, but it would not start until i plugged it in.
i think it would be better to wait for traditional laptop vendors like dell and HP to release "Ryzen AI" laptops instead of jumping on this.

Incredibly beautiful device. It is, however, a fingerprint magnet. While it’s somewhat easy to wipe off of the lid, the oil from your fingers will discolor the trackpad seemingly irreversibly, and is actually the reason I returned the device. That’s particular of me I know but I just hated this expensive beautiful device making me feel like a slob with a gross looking trackpad and keycaps. That aside, the screen is gorgeous, 32gb of ram is awesome and meets all my needs. Fan noises were very easily controlled with the proart software, whisper mode really was quiet and allowed impressive performance without noise. Battery life was not bad at 6-8 hours of real world use. Surprisingly poor frankly compared to the most recent competition from intel’s core ultras and even a bit worse than other similar devices with the same cpu and gpu like the g16 (with a 240hz OLED panel). Anyway, this guy outperforms the g16 with identical specs, so I suppose the battery life hit can be overlooked. If you can live with fingerprints and oily trackpad, I do recommend it!

Purchased for work. So far, very nice. Slick, fast, and quiet. Good value upgrade. Also the screen is absolutely gorgeous.
After reviewing hardware for all available laptops, this is the *only* one landing at the msrp perfect value-performance sweet spot this generation, currently mid-late 2024.
