Customers express satisfaction with the ProArt P16 laptop's exceptional screen quality, overall performance, and the speed of its Ryzen AI 9 HX processor. The laptop also receives positive feedback for its good battery life, ample RAM, sleek design, and portability. While the refresh rate is seen as slightly low and the fan can be noisy under heavy use, the heat dissipation is also a minor concern.

This is by far the best laptop I've ever owned! From the speed, the picture quality, and the way this laptop feels as i hold it and type, it just doesn't get any better. My only gripe is that my battery life doesn't last longer than somewhere around 4-5 hours of use (not constant use as I walk away mulitple times and my computer will go to sleep, so this is only an estimate). I've only owned this laptop for 1 month and I'm still tweaking the settings to see if I can get my battery life to last longer, but the one setting I refuse to change is HDR as it would be a waste of screen if I didin't always use this feature. But 4-5 hours is good enough for my use. Other than that, I'm telling you, you won't be disappointed with this laptop. It feels great to the touch, it handles tasks well, and the screen is just amazing. I'm really into picture quality (I own a 77" LG C1 and C4) and this screen looks just as good. Rich vibrant colors, movies look incredible, and my pictures have never looked better. At this price, this is a great buy!

The ASUS ProArt P16 is a great find for the price which supports good graphics for high end software like Matlab and other graphics software. I had some issues for about 3 months with the latest updates it works great with no issues.

The ProArt-16 is a great laptop. Battery life is about 5 hrs depending on what you are doing. Typing / writing is not very resourse intensive and will give you the most battery life. Editing video will cut the battery time down to around 3 hrs.
There are 2 M.2 slots. Drive 0 has the operating system. The other drive slot is empty. The board will accept up to a 4 TB gen 4 drive with no issues. The bios does not have the ability to support RAID. You can emulate it with a software RAID setup - but its not something I would do. If you want to add a second M.2 - the process is very easy. There are several DIY video on YouTube specifically on this Laptop which will explain in great detail how to clone the OE drive and replace it with a larger one and how to add a second drive. I did this and it only took a couple of hours from the drive clone up to installation of both new drives.
The RAM is soldered onto the board and you cannot add additional RAM. I have the 32GB RAM ProArt and have not had any issues processing Insta360 video with CapCut. The mouse pad is big - however I do not use it as I do not care for mouse pads. You can disable the mouse pad in the bios.
The case of the laptop is aluminum and looks pretty slick. The AMD Ryzen processor seems more than capable of rendering video from mp4 into .flv or whatever else you want it for.
You can game on this laptop - I've read people using it to play WOW or Fortnite with good success. Just remember the keyboard will get hot and the fans will be running hard to keep it cool. Since the case is not very thick - maybe 3/4 of an inch - heat will pass thru to your hands. When you transfer a huge amount the M.2 will get hot and you will feel it.
I like this laptop so much more than my Apple MacBook Pro. The display is outstanding - and its a touch screen. It's very light and the power brick is not that big either making the entire setup very light and able to be carried without much strain. If you are looking for a laptop that was specifically designed for video and picture editing then look no further than the ProArt series from Asus. It really is superior to the MacBook in value and price.

This laptop has surpassed my expectations. Its only drawback is that it can only run at 60 FPS. Everything else, this laptop can handle.

I wanted to love this laptop. However, too many bugs and issues using the adobe software. Photoshop’s cameraraw crashes way too often with this laptop than my older one. However, this is super fast render time is a plus.
Would I recommend it? Yeah I still would. But maybe get the higher grade model.

With its vibrant 4K touchscreen and Ryzen AI 9 HX processor, the ASUS ProArt P16 is perfect for creative professionals. It excels in multitasking with 32GB RAM and handles graphics work effortlessly with the RTX 4060. The 1TB SSD is a plus, but the laptop is heavier than expected for a portable setup.

I absolutely love this computer! I'm using it to write up this review now! I bought it for school to download a bunch of software I had to install. It never crashed or worked slowly when any of them were open. I even had multiple running at once!

Good Laptop that is hurt by the 60hz Refresh rate

Good laptop, but the 60hz refresh rate really hurts this product. We're all used to 120hz refresh rates now with smartphones and tablets and even other laptops, this is really noticeable on this laptop. The ROG Zephyrus with the same battery efficient AMD chip has a 120HZ refresh rate so I ended up returning the Pro Art for it. If the 60hz doesn't bother you then I would recommend the Pro Art

Amazing screen, good battery life, fast at everything! Browsing, gaming, work -- all works great. When just browsing or watching videos, battery can last an entire coast-to-coast flight no problem. Only gaming drains battery fast.

Great Machine hampered no video over thunderbolt

Amazing laptop overall. Gorgeous screen, responsive, well built, great quality for the money. However there is one cost cutting measure that is kind of unacceptable. No video over thunderbolt. I have a Razer 8k thunderbolt dock for my 8k Samsung 57" monitor. Hooked it up and nothing. It would connect and disconnect in a loop. Looked up the issue and it is that Asus cheaped out. I know the dock works because my other PC and MacBook connect just fine. In my opinion this is an unacceptable cost cutting measure and a shame because it uses USB 4 rather than thunderbolt.

This laptop is more than what it shows, i had ot for less than a month and i had allready pushed the limits of ram and video
The only bad thing is that it gets hot really quick and drains the battery so it will always need a cooler to work loosing the purpose of a laptop, the battery even on a cooling station only last 6 hours tops with real use
It is heavy yes compared to an lg gram but this one is for for heavy work you can use really heavy software and it wont have issues
The ugly part is that you wont be able to stop using it is amazing in terms of functionality and performance

Really great build quality, looks and feels premium. I have mostly been a mac person, but I purchased this to run SolidWorks for engineering grad school. Display is absolutely stunning. From a hardware standpoint it feels like there are no sacrifices but windows 11 is just very clunky. I feel like I need to go in and optimize to get it running well. At 16" its certainly big enough to have a number pad but it doesn't.

Purchased for graphic design student. Love the OLED display. Battery life could be better (info states up to 10 hrs of light to medium use). Currently getting approximately 2 - 3 hrs (graphic work, social media, video chat, and gaming mainly).
