It was easy to install and worked right out of the box (ALMOST). The problem I had was with the traffic reception due to a faulty cable. Whenever I used the cable that came with the BC30, the traffic would work on occasion. But if I would switch back to my original cable that came with my Garmin GPS, the traffic notifications would work all the time. Too bad I need the BC30 cable to operate the camera. I have been dealing with Garmin to get a replacement cable. I had to send back the faulty cable before they will send me a replacement cable. Has been a week and I am still waiting for the replacement. I wish Garmin would pick up their feet and get the cable to me sooner, since I bought this brand new and it did not work as it should. Other than that, it's a decent unit at a good price point. Just wish it worked right out of the box. I am feeling a little sour so far.

Adding a backup camera

Thought it would be easy but not so much. Looking for a license plate bracket that is centered over the plate. It suggests using one of the screws to mount camera but it would be slightly off center. Will update once it is installed.
