If you want to watch NCIS in hd using this cam, you will be dissapointed. If you want a good cam for backing up, this is excellent! I made a battery pack so i could put it at the back of a 28' trailer behind a full size sierra, still transmits that far! Its a little grainy, but again, its not for tv. Works great and worth the money! Very happy with the product!

Fast , clear picture. Easy to use. Depending on your wiring experience and placement in vehicle you may want to have it installed.

Needed a longer cable for transmitter, but besides that works great.

Installation was done by a dealer, to ensure perfect fitment and funtionality, however fails at times, camera comes and goes at times, having tl re boot the gps. My personal opinion i wont buy it.

Bought this to go along with gps unit and combo is great. easy enough install. adjustable grid lines on gps..overall good buy

I was spoiled by the backup camera in my previous vehicle. It provides an extra piece of mind that you are not going to rear end someone in the parking lot. In my current vehicle, there is no backup camera. So when I found this and learned that I could have one, I immediately got it. It works beautifully. It sometimes does not activate which I believe might have to do with overheating on a really hot day. Obviously not necessary but it definitely gives you an extra peace of mind.

I have hesitated to get a backup camera for my Ford 500 because I didn't want an extra display sitting on my dash. This camera will turn my Garmin 61 into a backup camera when I put the car in reverse. Although not installed yet, Looks like the hardest part will be getting the "phony" carpet off the trunk lid and side to be able to get to the back-up light. After that, everything will be a breeze. I have a 2015 Ford C-Max hybrid car. It has an unusual dashboard with an integrated radio. You cannot replace the radio with a standard radio that has a large display screen. While the car has three display screens, none of them will function with a back up camera. I have my Garman GPS plugged into a cigarette lighter that shuts off about 10 minutes after I get out of the car. It turns on as soon as I open the car door. My GPS is ready to go by the time I am settled in the driver seat. Of course, the reason I’m talking about the Garman GPS is that it automatically acts as the display screen for the camera, whatever I put the car into reverse. The picture is crystal clear. However, it is much darker than other cameras that I have used in the past. I am disappointed in the picture quality. If it had the picture quality of the Panasonic camera that I have in my handicap van, I would be a very happy. Since there no other cameras that will work in my car, I rate it as a usable, but not great, backup camera.

Works well. Installing was kind of difficult but not the cameras fault. Installed in a 2015 Chrysler 300. Good signal and very impressed with low light and night vision. Just what I needed.

Using with a Garmin nuviCam LMTHD. Great safety addition. Works well. Picture provides a clear color image. Screwed the mounting bracket to the license plate holder. Drilled 5/8" hole and used a split grommet to shield and seal.The mounting bracket allows easy adjustment. Wireless system works well.

Being in my mid 70’s it’s hard to turn my head to see as I’m backing up. This camera is God sent. It works perfectly. The screen is large, easy to see day or night. It has lines telling me were to drive. Best Buy installed it and the man who did was very kind, understanding in helping me on how it worked. Well worth the money

So glad I got this when I purchased my new Garmin GPS. Has already helped me spot a child who ran behind my vehicle as I was starting to back up at Walmart. Also glad I paid for installation by Best Buy staff. They did a great careful job.

I installed this on my 2014 Forester. Being the base model, it did not have a backup camera. I already had a compatible Garmin GPS. Installation was pretty straight forward. Need courage to remove hatch molding and drill a hole for camera cable. Geek squad install was more expensive than the camera. Once installed it works well.

I purchased this camera and had it installed at Best Buy as a reasonably priced way to add a back-up camera to my 2012 Outback. It works perfectly with my Garmin 65LM GPS. The GPS automatically switches to show the back-up camera image in 1 or 2 seconds, and I have no complaints about image quality. The lens is a fisheye just like most back-up cameras, and is adequate for the task.

Works Great!!! Great option for someone who didn't have a backup camera, like my 2012 Jeep Wrangler...or anyone that wants to add a backup camera and doesn't want the hassle of running wires up to your dash etc. This literally took me all of 15-minutes to connect to my backup light wire, and then test; then around 1/2 hour to hide and tie down wires.
