Easy to use and works fine with Dell XPS 15

This hub is a solid mid-range USB-C docking solution that balances performance, portability, and reliability. It is best suited for professionals, students, and researchers who need dual monitors and stable connectivity without a bulky docking station. While it is more expensive than budget alternatives, Belkin’s build quality and stable performance make it a dependable choice for daily workstation use. One drawback is the dock can get warmer while connected to the computer.

Worked great until it didn't
STEVEN Posted
I was super happy with this product for about 7 months. Yes it does run warm, but initially all the ports worked as advertised as did the dual monitor support for my MacBook Air. Then suddenly one of the HDMI ports stopped working and the InstantView software didn't recognize the USB connection to the computer. I tried updating and reinstalling drivers and the app to no avail. The power and other data connections still work, so it's not totally useless, but unfortunately no longer does the one thing I really needed it to.

Hi CalebS,
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Belkin Connect Universal USB-C 8-in-1 Dual Display Core Hub (INC015). We’re glad to hear you found the hub flawless in most respects.
Regarding your note on dual monitor support with MacBook Air: you are correct that macOS devices, including MacBook Air models, do not support dual extended displays over USB-C hubs due to system limitations. The hub will still provide single external display support along with all other connectivity features (USB, Ethernet, SD, and power delivery).
Please don't hesitate to reach us out should you need assistance:

Works great!
Jack Posted
It works great as a docking station, just without a power source. It runs a little warm, but it does the job. Also, there is a sticker it ships with alerting you to download silicon motion drivers before using it. That could be a problem for anyone who needs approval from the “powers that be” before installing the drivers.

Bought this so my wife could work off of 2 monitors while putting her laptop in clamshell mode. I asked her what she thought about it and she said "honestly I haven't thought about it all." If she had issues with it it would be frustrating her.
