The only drawback is that every time you have to use your phone, you would then have to take off and put it back on. But overall good for exercising! Does not offer drop protection

I had to remove my phone from the hard case to fit it in the armband, so if it drops or falls out (low probability) then you better hope it's during the cool down at home.

Posted .Hi. Thank you for providing us a product review. The armband is designed to tightly fit the phone to eliminate the possibility of losing grip with the device. If the armband is fairly new, securing the phone may seem to be a challenge since the corners are not yet stretched. You will also need to remove a case if it is too thick to fit in the armband.

I like the fact that there are a couple layers of material between the phone and my arm so that the phone does not get wet.

It was a little hard to insert the phone the first time; however the "snugness"'lessens with use. I can even use it with the case on. Love it and would definitely recommend.
