I thought it was usb to hdmi but it’s a display port, so for anyone who needs to connect to a laptop this isn’t the product you need.

Works most of the time. Bought two of them for two monitors. Occasionally the signal gets garbled with one of them (lines, often dramatic color shifts). If I switch the the adapter to the other monitor, the intermittent problems travel with it. Looking for another option.

This Dp to HDMI adapter fixed my monitor blacking out on me. I wasn't sure what the problem was but figured it might be the off-brand adapter I was using. Sure enough it fixed the problem and it's been solid for weeks. Inexpensive and in stock, there is no reason this shouldn't have 5 stars.

Instead of getting a cord that my friend needed to go from the monitor to her laptop, I felt it was better just to get her an adapter that he was able to use and other places as well. The party short but again it’s an adapter she said no problems with it since I’ve given it to her.
