If you're monitor only has a limited amount of ports or rather a certain device doesnt hold a HDMI port. This device is the tool you need

its pretty good its a bit hard to plug in the hdmi part but other than that I like it.

I thought it was usb to hdmi but it’s a display port, so for anyone who needs to connect to a laptop this isn’t the product you need.

Very efficient i have been using it for a month no issue

Bought this monitor to have as a second one, mainly use a 144hz monitor and I can really see the difference in frames

It’s a cable what more can I say. It worked well. Crazy; huh.

Quick and easy. Just what I needed. Ordered on the app, picked up in 30 minutes.

Great products and got everything I needed for my PC and desk setup upgrade.

Works most of the time. Bought two of them for two monitors. Occasionally the signal gets garbled with one of them (lines, often dramatic color shifts). If I switch the the adapter to the other monitor, the intermittent problems travel with it. Looking for another option.

Horrible, stopped working almost immediately. Do not buy

This Dp to HDMI adapter fixed my monitor blacking out on me. I wasn't sure what the problem was but figured it might be the off-brand adapter I was using. Sure enough it fixed the problem and it's been solid for weeks. Inexpensive and in stock, there is no reason this shouldn't have 5 stars.

Opened up the package for my HP ProDesk computer (also from Best Buy) and was surprised to find it had no HDMI port for the display -- only choice of VGA or DisplayPort (HP proprietary). No problem -- back to BB for this simple adapter, easy plug in to the DisplayPort on the computer on one end, standard HDMI cable on the other. Perfect.

Easy to use and helped hook up multiple monitors for virtual teaching. Good price. Quality part.

"BestBuy essentials" cable was the "essential price" this go round. Needed a quick, VALUE priced, display port to HDMI adapter for a church. they had an older HP system with no HDMI ports, and needed to connect to a large TV. The system has two display ports, but the people at the church did not know that they could use them. (its actually a VERY frequent need for my customers). This was such a good deal, and works well.

Product arrived within a few days (Maybe a day or two faster than stated) and it has been effective with the second monitor, no problems as far as I see. Price was good for what I wanted, easy to connect, overall a good item for me!
