    It’s cheap. First one we had the carafe was super thin glass and broke in no time. Silly me, I bought another one. It worked for awhile then just stopped working.

    I ordered this through online and it came to me broken. i used some of the reward cert that i have in my account, when i returned it, the lady said she will just order a new one for me and the rewards will return to my account. however, i came to know that the rewards will not go back to my account anymore. so i lost 20 bucks for it. plus, the second one ordered came to me broken also. i hate it. i put so much time and effort for this.

    Water reservoir leaked

    After using the coffee makera day or two, I noticed water around the base of the coffee maker. Upon further inspection and refilling the reservoir, I saw water pouring out the base of the reservoir...right next to the electronics!! Since I had used the maker and no longer had the receipt, my only alternative was to throw out the maker and donate the carafe to ARC.

    My friend told me that Black & Decker is a pretty good coffee pot so I went ahead and got it on Black Friday. After it was delivered are used it it was working great make great coffee but after a while the water was everywhere. I start getting coffee grinds in my coffee Cup . I was very unhappy and very disappointed in the product I am very surprised that I haven’t even had it for a month and it starts leaking everywhere.

    Its a very cheap product and the water is piping hot. I only make coffee using this when it is an absolute need. Why? Because it makes terrible coffee. I have tried every brand I love, different filters, etc. but I can never seem to actually make a pot that tastes good. I need to look for another brand because I cant keep purchasing Thortons for a decent cup of coffee.

    THE COFFEE IS NOT EVEN HOT.... I WAS EXCITED TO REPLACE MY OLD BLACK AND DECKER WITH A NEWER VERSION BECAUSE IT WAS ON SALE FOR HALF OFF. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE COFFEE IS NO WHERE CLOSE TO HOT COMPARED TO OUR OLDER MODEL.
