Powerful motor that has performed wonderfully over the month that I have had it. A little loud, but everything blended on particular settings comes out exactly as the setting guides have stated.

Everything how strong it is. I love how it does the food and everything else.

blend everything I put, excellent blender, good buy

I'm not one to spend $250 on something like a blender, but compared to the $500 that these - or competing Vitamix - normally go for, this seemed like a steal. I got this as a family Xmas present, mainly because my wife and son are big into smoothies, and our previous $50 blender just wasn't cutting it with ice, frozen fruit, etc. This one has powered through anything we've thrown at it with ease.

Works great. Blends great. Took a bit to get used to no knob. Super easy to clean; real easy to wash around the blades and the membrane switches (versus knobs or mechanical toggle switches) are so easy to wash off. It's all automatic, starts out slow and ramps up in speed. It was a Best Buy salesman who recommended this and so glad he did.

The blender itself has been awesome! Unfortunately the touch sensitive buttons can be finicky, especially if your hands are wet and/or water has dripped on to the touch panel. If I could I'd trade it for one with normal buttons at this point but it still works fine most of the time and once you get it going it's a solid blendtec blender.

got this one deal of the day for like half price, was wanting one for a long time but did not want to pay full price. It's loud and moves around while blending, but then again I think it has a 3HP motor and spins at a maximum of 29,000 RPMs

Waited for an opportunity to purchase a Vitamix or Blendtec blender for a great price. The Blendtec was a Bestbuy Deal of the Day and was a great value. Works as well as the Vitamix we were using.

Because of my disability, I was put on a liquid/blended diet. The important thing was keep up my nutrition up along with getting proper protein,carbs.etc. This item was and has performed better than we could have ever imagined. shop around and I would encourage getting the smaller mixer and the to go mixer cup. We put grilled chicken in the blender and it completely breaks it down into a liquid form. does the job with no problem. We love the fact that the mixing blades a not sharp so you will never accidentally cut yourself.

I am absolutely in love with my blendtec. I owned many different blenders (Ninja, kitchenaid, breville), while all of them were solid blenders, none came even close to the mastery of blendtec. There is nearly nothing it can't handle: smoothies, blended drinks, soups, ice cream, batter - you name it. The smoothies it makes will be the smoothiest smoothies you'll ever try. The blender itself is very sturdy, well made and is so easy to use and clean! I have used it daily for almost 6 months, and it is still looks and feels brand new. This is not just a blender, this is a must have kitchen assistant.

This blender is probably my favorite one I have owned. It is so easy to clean and it blends super fast. The only thing I don’t like is that the control panel is all blank and you have to know where the buttons are before pushing. We just kept the plastic cover on so we know what we are doing.

Very powerful blender. I use it frequently and am always impressed with the end result. A bit noisy, but they all are. I picked this up on Deal of the Day and don't think you can go wrong at that price.

I was keeping an eye on this one till the price was right. Picked it up and am very happy. Easy to use and clean, very powerful blending with many options.

The only blender you will ever need In your kitchen

I recieved this blender few weeks ago to replace a cheap blender I got at Costco. I love how easy this blender purees all of the fruit and vegetables. Also looks great on the kitchen counter.

Blendtec has delivered one amazing blender with the Designer 650s, Not only you get a great 8-year warranty but the item itself feels extremely premium. No, really it feels like you are touching the future with the touchpad and the Wildside crystal glass jar is awesome. Blendtec gives its signature design with the nice large jar showing off the huge blade inside to blend whatever you throw at it. Like many others, I've been using Vitamix for years and never thought I would look the other way but today I will have a whole different mindset to newer blenders. Placing the motor base down on the countertop it does not move and never displays flimsiness. Blending was super quick, easy, and powerful as you see the blades rip what you have inside. It has 6 pre-programmed blend cycles and they all work flawlessly. Smoothie, Frozen Treats, Whole Juice, Hot Soup, Batters, Mix Drinks, and Pulse are all here. I made a classic strawberry and banana smoothie just for a quick test and it was delightful. The Designer 650s also does a really good job of making a batter with ease giving the right consistency EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Crushing Ice is a breeze giving it just 35 seconds to rip it all up and it always comes out as perfect as you expect it to. The black rubber lid stays on tight and it has a useful purpose as well. You can vent food and add food without taking off the lid! amazing. When it comes to the actual blending you won't be disappointed. The touchpad itself is a beautiful and easy tech I happen to enjoy on the blender, it makes it so easy to clean and use the preprograms in the 650s. There are error icons on there as well so you never have to second guess what is going on. I think its a nice futuristic touch to this well designed stainless steel blender. Every time it lights up it just seems to impress me. There are some odd instructions about placing the jar in the dishwasher when clearly it won't fit, I too scratched my head over this as well but its no bother to just wash it out manually. The blender isn't super loud Blendtec made one of the most stable, impressive, and powerful blenders I've ever used. There is nothing like it I ever used before. Even made the ladies in my family a bit jealous that I have a Blendtec's Designer Series at all. I honestly can't give this more then 5 stars but if I could I would. This is a world class product that deserves all the rave reviews and well worth the price.

Blending perfectly every time and I am liking it. Build quality is good. Saving lot of time for me.

Bought another one for the in-laws. I absolutely recommend Blendtec. Powerful and easy to use without worrying about a sharp blade.

It was amazing. When using it, I am feeling it is so powerful and ground so quickly. I recommend to those who want to get a grinder of ice.
