System works great. Easy to install. Camera quality is awesome! Runs on batteries for Two years. High value and worth it.

I wanted a security camera system that I could use on my phone from anywhere and the Blink XT system is perfect for my needs. The app allows me to choose to have which cameras are on and if I choose to not have any on at all which is also nice because it doesn't use as much battery power. The app also allows me to choose video length and capture frequency. Pros: -Inexpensive. -Easy to set up on the app. -Easy to mount to wood surfaces. -Quality unit and quality picture/video. -Ideal for homes that only need a passive type of monitoring system. -The audio capture is not bad for something so small...not to washed out with background hissing. Cons(potential problems for some people): -Probably not for someone wanting this system to run all the time as I imagine the battery use would become problematic to seamless operation and a source of frustration. -The default amount of storage of video/pictures is not large so again if you are running this all the time it may require you to clear out space daily depending on usage. -There is no two-way voice option on this model....keep that in mind. -The limit is 10 cameras per system. -The usage of multiple cameras at once my severely tax your wi-fi and be a point of frustration.

This little wireless camera is awesome. It literally runs neck and neck to the Nest & ADT cameras. The quality is crisp and clear and you can set it according to your preferences. Super easy to use and install. Took a chance on this and so glad we did. We love it...too boot, we’ve only had to change the batteries one time in 2 years!!!

Good camera system that is inexpensive to maintain. I like the older models like this one over the newer ones that Blink has come out with. These allow for free cloud storage and long battery life where the new ones want you to pay for the cloud storage. I bought multiple kits including this one and the XT2 that allow for audio in both directions. I actually have one in my mailbox so when mail is delivered I get notification and can check to see how much mail I have. I also had another in the tree behind the house so I could see if anyone was approaching the back door from a different angle. Cameras response time for sending the video is not as fast as ring since I have both. But I do like the small dimension and long battery life. I do wish that they would have put in a booster so that each camera could extend the wifi range to another going further away from the house.

Easy to set up, nice picture quality. True wireless, with no batteries to charge. The only reason I am deducting one star is the sound quality is poor, lots of static. I moved the camera to multiple locations to see if that helped, it did not. Other than the sound, I recommend this camera.

Overall these are good quality cameras. Batteries lasted about a year having them only capture movement at night in front of my house. Mounting was easy and connecting the wifi module to the network was simple as well.

Easy install. Performs exactly as advertised. Easy to use. Easy to disarm temporarily during known high activity times to avoid unwanted notifications and alerts. Good picture. Quality video with sound. Will likely purchase additional cameras to add on to original group purchased. Been using for a couple months. Not a single complaint.

The ease of placement is what sold me on this product. Not having to run wires and the added expense of expanding my network. The video quality is good and the night vision functions very well. The downside is that this doesn't provide a true DVR solution that would come with standard cameras. So you're limited to 60 second max clips with retrigger times, So if something happens that's longer than that it's pretty much useless. In addition make sure that you have a very healthy wifi system. The control module that connects to your wifi is very small and a little under powered. Overall, I would recommend as something very basic, but if you're looking for continuous video to review. This is not the product.

This is a first purchase in a home security video capable device and I have found it irreplaceable for a starting system in security. The peace of mind knowing this is protecting the house is so rewarding. Easy to install and set up with perfectly clear picture quality and real-time video and system notifications.

For the price, they are good cameras. Long battery life. Good motion detection. Some lag in recording and no two way audio. Video is good with proper lighting (I have lights come on when motion detected), but only fair in the dark.

If you are looking for a simple system that anyone can set up, then this is the camera for you. I've had this system for a few years now, and I couldn't be happier with it. When Amazon came out with the two way audio version of this camera, I immediately redeemed the Geek Squad protection to get this one. I have one at my back door and one at the front. I can holler at my dog if he starts barking like crazy at squirrels on the back door and safely chat with visitors at the front door. The camera quality is absolutely awesome, and the motion detection is very sensitive. Overall, for a camera that runs on 2 AA batteries, I'm very impressed by this system. I recommend this system to everyone I can.

I've always wanted more cameras for my house, but never wanted to mess with running power to all of them. These are entirely wireless, record on motion day or night. Easy to setup and manage, and also no contract or monthly cost in the video portion like Nest charges you for their cameras.

These are great cameras easy to set up easy to use best of all it's free no monthly fees app is easy to use on your phone gives me a peace of mind when I'm not at home or even when I am at home great picture great quality highly recommend

Quick from opening box to using the cameras. I don't have them permanently mounted yet but move them around the house frequently. The remote phone app (iOS for me) works well for alerting when motion is detected. If something moves in front of the cameras, it does a short recording and sends a notification to the app (phone and ipad can view). Live view is not instant and requires you to "turn on" the view remotely. I would give this a 5 if I could see my cameras from a web browser instead of my phone. I like that you don't need to use wires. The cameras are ready to use micro USB if you want to permanently power them but the batteries work fine. I don't use live view very much so I think the batteries will last as long as they say.

The camera was great when I got it. Since Blink pushed out an update a month after putting them on the market. No longer the IR illumination except when something triggers it and then you cant see anything on the clip (pic 1). I often loose WIFI when the module is within 40ft away and WIFI connection is good (pic 3, 4) Camera is good for basic viewing (pic 2) but expect to not have good connection and forget checking in at night or getting quality video if something happens at night until Blink fixes with another update. Blink should have fixed this before their launch, scam to get consumers to buy a product that doesnt work as it should

This system is fantastic. It is easy to set up and sync. The cameras are very good and produce great images. The instant notification system detecting movement is just sensitive enough to detect intruders near the camera location. Highly recommend!

Awesome and easy to use! Very easy to install. Pictures are clear with the exception that you can’t see at night as clearly without a light on. Other than that great system!

It's an easy set up and does what it's supposed to do. Completely wireless so you can put it anywhere. You can set up the motion detection sensitivity and also sensor zones to prevent unintentional triggers. Great addition to a smart home

Slightly slow to respond. But, does a great job of letting us know when someone or something sets off the motion detect on the camera. Was very easy to set up and use!
