The phone's large screen, long battery life, and dual SIM capability are also praised. Camera does not take good pictures
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned after 1 day. Camera did not take clear sharp pictures, which is an important to me. All other phone features worked well. Screen size was nice and big. Battery life was very good. I would have kept this camera if not for the low quality/grainy pictures it takes and which has been mentioned in other on-line reviews. If you are not to concerned about picture quality, then this would be a very good phone to get. It comes with a soft-gel case, ear buds, power adaptor, charging cable, and two screen protectors for the LCD screen.

Do NOT expect a Samsung feature! Badass Device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my big phones. I was reading other reviews saying 'Blu has virus, it installs apps wothout my permission', and I thought "okay, I want to try it out." So I bought it and man were they wrong. The apps that 'appear' on the phone are recommended apps. They will install, but you just have to delete them and they won't install again. I'll list my pros and cons. Pros: 6" HD Display. Yass 13mp camera is crisp for a phone like this Battery life last for a day and a half. I go all day and be left with 60%. front facing flash dual sim and unlocked Cons: doesnt with latest android Camera selfie good at day light, bad at night, especially using flash call speaker could be louder, but still able to hear

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok so I wanted an unlocked gsm smart phone and couldn't trust eBay because of the stories I've heard about people buying what is supposed to be an unlocked phone and turns out it isn't, or worse, it's reported stolen. Anyhow, I went to Best buy to get a totally different phone only to find out that it's not available, no surprise. So I tell the salesman I want an unlocked gsm phone with at least a 5.5 inch screen and I didn't want to spend more than $200 I was told this Blu studio xl2 was my only option. Phone looked nice and at $125 bucks was a deal, or so I thought. In one word, the phone I got "SUCKS". To begin with the screen is terrible, way too sensitive, the picture quality is terrible, the sound is very tinny sounding, the screen timed out after about 15 seconds regardless of the time out setting, even when watching a video. The camera would not focus most of the time, The volume kept changing and call quality was terrible.it kept changing my ringtones and other settings, etc, etc, etc. So it took me a little more than 2 weeks to figure out this phone is junk, just long enough to not be able to return it to Best buy, go figure. so now I have a $125 paperweight. I thought Maybe it was just this phone, but from other reviews I think not. I can honestly say that I will never buy another product made by Blu and I certainly will never buy another electronic product from Best buy, with their amazing 14 day return policy.

great phone! at a great price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this phone from Best buy, and could not be happier! l have compared it to my galaxy s7 edge plus, and i cannot notice any major difference, except that this BLU Studio XL2 has a way better battery life!! it surpasses any phone or tablet I have ever used! I compared the 2 phones many times with the processing performance and I cannot notice anything major at all, maybe the Samsung brings up a few things 1/2 second quicker thats about it, and thats only a Maybe! also I switched to Cricket service from ATT on this new phone and I will say both the phone and service outperform the Galaxy S7 and ATT, my download speeds for 4G was 10 MB per second on the Galaxy S7 with ATT, and 29 MB per second on the BLU Studio XL2 with Cricket as my phone provider, also I tested WIFI, again the BLU studio XL2 out performed my Galaxy S7!. and a reminder I live in the Rural areas of Northern California, I highly recommend this phone to anyone, save your money folks and buy this BLU Studio XL2! you wont regret it, also it says it takes a 32 GB SD card, they would not work in my phone, so I tried a 16 GB SD card, and it works great!

Avoid this pile of junk!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Avoid this pile of junk at all costs. Purchased this phone as a temp phone until something I wanted came along. Should have just went without a phone instead of buying this worthless thing. The phone has a SD Card slot and it's totally worthless. Constantly says the SD card isn't inserted or not supported. Pretty much you're stuck with the dinky internal storage that can hold about 5 apps if your lucky. The phone is cheap at $130, but not worth the hassle, not even as a temp phone. Can't imagine trying to use this as an everyday phone for too long. I've had it 3 months and can't wait to ditch the thing. Hopefully Google gets some white Pixel 2 XL's in stock soon so this phone can get tossed ASAP.

Not so great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned couple of Blu devices and truth be told, they aren't that worthy of a purchase in my opinion. The touch screen has a lag in response. The camera is of a very poor quality. There is a definite blurryness in recording videos with this. The battery back up is really miserable. At one instance, it says you have 55% battery. And in just a matter of 5-10 minutes, the phone goes off. There is hardly any good performance with this. In addition, there is also a lack in call clarity with the same network with this phone when compared to a better phone at the same location. In my opinion, avoid this at all costs.

Most ridiculous P-O-S I've ever encountered
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It says it's compatible with T-Mobile, but its SIM slot is too small for the standard T-Mobile SIM. I also used a Telcel SIM with my last dual-SIM Blue, but this one won't fit the standard Telcel SIM either. I called their customer service, and the woman said yeah, you'll have to take it to a service center and have them cut your SIM cards to fit. OK, I asked, where are your service centers near Denver. "Oh, we have none, you'll have to bring it back to the store you bought it from and ask their technicians to help you?" You mean PAY Geek Squad to damage my SIM cards to fit the world's stupidest product ever? And even if I got the Geek Squad (Best Buy) to do it for free, every time I switched to another carier, I'd have to go through this whole rigamarole? Seriusly, the stupidest product design in history: "hey, it works with your provider! Just....em....not until you retrofit it with some special cutting tool." Don't buy this P-O-S. Get something that will work straight out of the box!

Bluetooth doesn't work well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good phone with a reasonable price. But the screen don't turn off when speaking to phone, Bluetooth lose connection or turn the sound off when connecting to My car of Nissan's hands off. Also the battery need more than 10 hours to charge completely.

Not what I was hoping for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this phone as a birthday present to myself, my god what a bad investment. The people at best buy warned me but I didn't listen. The camera is mediocre, unless you hold it extremely still. The battery the whomping 4900 mah, just barely lasted longer then the 2580 I had in my Alcatel. Constant pop ups like every other minute and half the time you need tons of permissions to use certain apps and it won't let you turn the permissions on. Maybe I got a bad phone I've been told BLU is hit or miss. Not recommended.
