Had tivo service years ago with directv, then they left. Missed it all this time and now it's back...granted its with xfinity but oh well. Love how Netflix and Hulu intergrates with it so well that it's basically another "channel". A must have and saves on spending the extra $$ per month per box! Simply love!

Pros: Programming guide for OTA stations Many built in apps including Plex Fast response, stable software Cons: Remote cannot change stereo inputs Apps take a very long time to install on first run Overall an amazing replacement for my Nexus player and solves the problem of not having a TV tuner built into your display.

Great cutting edge technology. Simple setup, easy-to-use remote control, and far surpasses my previous Xfinity DVR receiver. Hardest part was getting the cable card from Comcast. The tech didn't bring the required card for installation so I had to go to Comcast office to get one and do a self-installation.

I love TiVo. This is my eighth one! I love all the features like Wish List, One Pass and Skip, One Pass finds your favorite programs and records them anywhere and anytime they're on. Wish List does the same for programs which are not currently broadcast. Skip does what it sounds like--skips commercials, but not all programs use skip. Over all the best DVR I've used.

I am 100% pleased with my Tivo. It wasn't a straight plug and play, but Tivo's customer service was excellent and was up and running in no time. You do have to pay the subscription fee, but one subscription covers other boxes on your account. Yearly fee is $150 but leasing a Cox DVR receiver is about $20/month.

I was very excited to dump my Verizon DVR. Tired of paying $12 for the box and $12 for the DVR service per month. But, the TiVo does not support VOD or PPV with Fios. Not a big deal. The real problem I have encountered is getting it to work consistently. I have had to reset it twice. The HDMI signal stopped working until I unplugged the TiVo and started it again. I occasionally receive an Error C501 when I try to view the list of My Shows and the list of recorded shows. Very frustrating. Now for the good part. It has four tuners, allows you to hook up multiple Mini Tivos. I now have full Cable TV in two additional rooms without renting additional boxes from Verizon. Yes, I did need to purchase the Mini Tivos, but worth it. You can also view live TV and your recorded shows remotely with a free app. No more Sling Box! Love the features, hate the unreliability. So far at least.

This product continues Tivo's evolution by bringing 4K to the family.
