This dishwasher delivered exactly what I was looking for. Quiet, Cleans well, looks good and installation instructions were great. The delivery lacked as it was two days late but all in all, this is a great machine. All dishwashers must be alike when it comes to drying. If you have all dishes, bowls, silverware, everything comes out dry. However if you have dishes that hold water in rims or on the top, it doesn't dry very well. I almost gave it a 4 star rating because of that but all the other attributes overrode the drying issue. Bosch makes a great product. My particular installation was beastly because the old dishwasher opening was too big. I had to do some creative work to make the opening smaller and look good at the same time. I think if I were going to do this again, I'd opt for the matching door front to match my cabinets but all in all it looks great. See Photo....

Dishwasher does an amazing job when used in the correct, designated way per the instruction manual. Super-quiet cycle takes a good 1 1/2-2 hours but you’ll hardly notice it’s running. Dry time is a decent length too, but the condensation drying truly works great as well as cutting down energy cost compared to heating element drying. Ample room for all dishes. Love the adjustable rack as well as the optional third rack. I do recommend using the exact detergent and rinse aid it promotes. When things are designed to be used together, using them together actually does give you the best results. Now we will just see how well this holds up over time. Have only had it for over a month now.

Quietest dishwasher ever, simple to use and maintain. Cleanest dishes I ever had. Did I say it is very quite?... and only red dot on the floor ( indicator) tell you that it's "on". Best money I ever spent on kitchen appliance.

It is quiet & cleans well - even when crusted on food is left on the dishes. I enjoy the 3rd drawer for those small items & larger serving utensils. I also like the flat front so that little ones can not run into the handle & hurt themselves. Buttons are hidden so that little fingers can not turn it on or off inadvertently.

The space for dishes, the quietness of the disherwasher, the cleanliness of the dishes is outstanding. The third rack is so useful for cooking utensils...I read many dishwasher reviews before purchasing..an excellent buy!

This is the best dishwasher I've ever owned. It's so quiet you can't tell when it's on except for the cool red light it projects on the floor when it's operating. The 3rd rack is really useful for odd sizes utensils, freeing up space below for everything else. Gets dishes really clean. Not fast but doesn't matter because, again, you can barely tell it's on.

The Bosch dishwasher lives up to it's billing as a quiet machine. With our open floor plan the dishwasher is close to where we watch TV and this is a big improvement over our old machine. You can barely hear it running. The three racks make it easy to find a place for almost every dish or utensil. The top rack is great for silverware, measuring cups , etc. and being an older person I appreciate not having to bend over to get to the silverware basket. The layout is different from our old Whirlpool and that takes some getting used to but we found that some deeper plates we could not fit into our old machine fit well in the Bosch. It does not have a heated drying function which saves energy but means that some items will come out with drops of water on them. Cups with concave bottoms will have some water left in them. We knew this when we bought it and were not surprised but that's the only reason we didn't give it a "5". The payoff is that you can safely put most plastics in without fear of melting and the "extra heat" dry function helps a lot. We were reluctant to choose a machine with top controls because you can't see them with the door closed. You get used to that and end up loving it because you don't have to bend over to see them.

Have been using the dishwasher for a month or so and we are not disappointed! The Bosch - 500 Series dishwasher is living up to reviews as being a good, dependable choice. The third shelf is handy. Dishes are drier at the end of the cycle than they were in our last Maytag Dishwasher. Holds a lot of dishes. Sleek look in our kitchen with other stainless appliances. We like the red light that beams on the floor to show it is "in use." So far, so good!

Very happy with this dishwasher. Soooo much better and easier to use than the dishwasher it replaced. Unit is pretty quiet. You can hear it if you’re standing next to it, but not from the next room. Cleans very well. Racks are easy to reconfigure. I also like that some of the prongs in the racks can be pushed to a flat position to accommodate larger items. Dries pretty well, but I get better results when using a rinse aid.

The three trays allows for lots of dirty things to get get washed. Runs very quiet and does a great job. Half load is great for when you need to get a few things out of the way

This is my first Bosch dishwasher. It definitely lives up to it's reputation. It's very quiet, cleans well, dries well and I love the additional third rack. Highly recommend.

We have had this dishwasher for 2 weeks. It is very quiet - we have an open floor plan and cannot hear it running when sitting in the living room. Dishes and pots/pans are cleaner than my old dishwasher but I would expect that. It is easy to load. I like the 3rd rack on top for odd items that don't fit in the basket or tend to get lost in the regular rack. The interior design is well-designed and holds a lot per wash.

Wow! This dishwasher really cleans my dishes. I scrape them off and put them in the dishwasher (as the salesman said to do). Do not need to rinse them like my old one. Only run it about every 3 days. Dishes come out clean. Silverware and glasses sparkle. Very quiet. Love the three racks plus two are adjustable. Very easy to use. I am VERY happy I purchased this dishwasher.

This Bosch dishwasher is definitely the top in its class! You can’t even hear it running, which I love. I love that the electronic control panel is hidden at the top of the door and can’t be seen unless you open the door. This dishwasher will hold a huge load of dishes with its efficient design, including a 3rd upper rack! Our glassware, dishes, and cookware come out beautifully cleaned!

Cleans better than any dishwasher I have used. I do not use the bottom basket since the 3rd rack holds everything i was putting in the basket on my old dishwasher. It cleaned an oatmeal bowl that set overnight. It did take me awhile to get the right settings. Do not prewash or soak your dishes before putting in the dishwasher. Turn on your hot water faucet in the kitchen sink. When it gets hot turn it off then wash your dishes on the auto setting with the sanitize option. Your dishes will take a little longer to wash but will come out sparkling clean and dry. The inside of the dishwasher will still have a little water in it but not much. I check my filter after each wash and it has always been clean. The only thing I hate about this dishwasher is the lower rack. I wish the back tines folded down. It does in the 800 model. I suggest watching a utube video on how to load this dishwasher. I now turn my pots on the side instead of upside down.

Excellent dishwasher. Unbelievably quiet. No more extensive rinsing of plates!!! Just get the big chunks and toss it in. It is quiet to the point that it is hard to tell if it is running. One feature I would like to see is a light or indicator that the dishes inside are clean. The racks inside are well designed and versatile. There are many more loading options than what we were accustomed to having. I am still getting used to the slide out top tray (because it is hidden so well) where you can put all of your cooking utensils (spatulas, spoons, pizza cutter, etc.). It is a great feature that I keep forgetting we have. It is nice that the top tray is easily removed so you can wash very tall glasses in the top rack.

This Bosch dishwasher does exactly what we need and expected of it; clean our dishes completely, leave no residue or wet dishes, and operate quietly when in use. The adjustable rack is nice when we need to fit in water bottles or wine glasses. The 3rd row drawer for utensils is really convenient as well. In previous reviews I remember reading about an annoying beep when it is finished, but we’ve only noticed it once before at night and it stops after one series of beeps. I wouldn’t buy another dishwasher after using this one.

Big capacity, energy and water efficient. Gets dishes really clean and so quiet I have to check the floor light to make sure it's on!

Our old Bosch dishwasher finally gave up after 15 years. After shopping and researching all the new options out there, and chose Bosch once again. As it turns out the Best Buy / Pacific Sales representative guided us through the selection process with great skill. We decided on Bosch, with Best Buy installation which was very prompt and professional. And the new Bosch Diswasher so quiet, roomy, and efficient, it’s amazing. At this point we couldn’t be happier with our choice of Best Buy and Bosch.

Love the third rack for flatware and the flexibility of all the racks. This has to be the quietest dishwasher on the market and does a thorough job.
