The new Bosch was installed and worked great right out of the box. Super quiet, a real on/off switch, good soap pellet dispenser. Good assortment of cleaning options. Dishes come out very clean although plastics will have moisture on them yet, you need to put plastics in so they don't trap water if possible. Coming from a KitchenAid there are a few quirks you have to get used to 1) always use the extra dry there is no heater to blast the dishes dry extra dry works great 2) the racks are odd apparently Germans use 1000 plates every day, who knew? we use paper plates all the time so cups and such go on the middle rack the lower rack is not suited to anything but plates and large kettles etc. The 3rd rack is there but I rarely use it so far. My goto cycle is the 60 min plus extra dry for 90% of the loads. The auto and sanitary can push the cycles to >3 hours and after a party or big meal that's a no-go option. A nice thing would be to offer alternate bottom racks, thats the only thing that still bugs me a little.

Looks and cleans great and quietly. Also has a slight interior odor even after rinsing dirty dishes until you run a cleaning cycle again.

Went for Bosch 500 series because of good reviews, reliability and low noise ratings. Lower rack dish holders are angled in a way that does not work well for our bowls. Glasses fall over in lower rack, but we have a 2nd rack full of plastic so we cant put them there! Love the silverware area on the 3rd rack. Dishwasher cleans well, even baked on Pyrex. However, plastic comes out SOAKED. And there is a weird cup on the front of the 2nd rack that tends to collect water. If you open the rack up quickly a good amount of water is flung onto your clothes! Overall, we are VERY disappointed in this dishwasher. All washers at this price point clean well. This one does not hold as many dishes as my old kitchenaid and certainly does not dry dishes as well. Wish I hadn't switched brands... Time to give up on plastic cups!

When my old dishwasher finally went I knew I wanted to upgrade and after doing some research I decided Bosch was the brand to go with, and this unit definitely lived up to its price. This dishwasher is super quiet and looks great not to mention cleans amazing. I recommend using some jersey though to make sure their is no excess water on top of cups and mugs with lips on the botto . Would recommend a hundred time over.

We moved to an apartment with old appliances, so we decided to invest in new equipment. This model was recommended by several friends, so despite being a little above our budget, we bought it. so far it has proven to be an excellent investment, with a lot of space despite being a small model. On top of that, it doesn't make any noise, particularly if I compared to my old model. Great appliance from a Great brand.

We replaced our 13 year old Bosch dishwasher with a new Bosch 500. We read a lot of reviews on the new product some glowing some not so good. We decided to buy another Bosch because our old one served us well for many years. The new unit super quiet, the wash cycle a bit longer than the old unit, but the dishes are cleaner than ever. Great product!

Absolutely fantastic dishwasher. So silent we keep checking the red light to make sure it's actually on!! Completely worth the price. Easy to keep clean. Love this!!! Dishes spotless. Doesn't have heated drying which we don't care about but if that's important to you, be aware of it. Excellent 3rd rack for silverware and adjustable plate racks.

We've had this dishwasher for a year now. We are very happy with it. It is extremely quiet and washes the dishes well. The third rack is perfect for holding chopsticks and little ramekins. However, there are 2 things I don't really like. 1- The tines on the racks fit the dishes in weird. It took a good 6 months to find a dish configuration that works for us, and even then, it doesn't really work all that well. 2- The soap pods don't always dissolve fully. I'm not sure if that is because we've overloaded it (possibly), the soap door isn't opening in time, or if the soap pods are crap. For me, these things are rather minor. We had a Samsung that crapped out at year one before this. It was so bad that I can over look quite a lot now. All in all, I'd buy it again so long as it holds out for a few more years.

This was not a planned purchase, our previous dishwasher had just died on us. After speaking to a couple of different sales people and doing a bit of research we settled on the Bosch being our best value due to the reliability, included installation, and the overall design of the machine. It's very quiet, cleans very well and has a lot of room and ability to configure the baskets to accommodate our larger pots and pans. We also happened to find an open box unit that ended up saving us a bunch of money and made us feel even better about the purchase.

Its been 12 years since my last dishwasher purchase and they have come along way. A really long way. I love this machine, Ive been using it for several weeks now. It is so incredibly quiet you can not Hear it running. I suppose this is why a little blue light shines down on the floor during run time, so you know it is actually on. the instructions for operation were clear and precise with an easy learning curve. I love that it has a third rack and the upper rack is adjustable in height. Additionally there are small divider racks for plates and bowls that can be locked up or lie flat for bulkier items. It cleans well, even dried on particles. I am so happy with this model it will be the first brand i look to next time I need an appliance.

We had nothing but problems with our old dishwasher, and settled on the Bosch 500 series as a replacement. Quieter, more room, third rack, and much better quality. Totally recommend this!

This is my 2nd 500 series as we moved shortly after getting our other one. I absolutely love this dishwasher. I can fit twice as much in it as a 2 drawer one. Our dishes definitely get a lot cleaner. One key is to always use the sanitize option and open up the door as soon as it beeps. 10 mins and everything is dry.

I love that this dishwasher is so quiet that I can sit in the same room and still have a conversation! The downside is that I now have to actually get up and look at the running indicator to make sure my kids started the load. First World Problem. The Bosch is not only quiet, but cleans very well! It isn't the most spacious dishwasher I looked at but is configured very well. I like the 3rd rack for things that would normally fly around. There are a few things that could be better. The rack tracks do not feel sturdy and the adjustment switches on the rack are tough to use. Finally, moisture will not evaporate unless the door is left open. Maybe a fan system could help pull that out?

This is a quiet dishwasher that has the nice 3rd tray for silverware so you can get more dishes in the lower rack, however to get dishes REALLY dry you have to select the EXTRA DRY button which adds 30minutes to the cycle (from 2hrs to 2-1/2 hrs) so from an energy and time standpoint, not much of a benefit here. Previous dishwasher was a Kenmore Elite that lasted a whopping 48 months before the pump, motherboard, and switches went out (repair was more than a new unit) so the jury is still WAY out to see if German engineering outlasts the Kenmore clunker.

Our new Bosch dishwasher was purchased during our full kitchen remodel. My previous dishwasher was a Maytag that we had for 13 years and served us well. Our new Bosch is extremely quiet and unless we see the red dot on the floor, we wouldn't even know it's running. This was important to us since our kitchen and family room are open to each other. We love having the 3rd upper rack and this dishwasher has cleaned even the dirtiest casserole and pans. We were concerned about some negative reviews that dishes were not drying but we use the recommended Finish products and our dishes have been dry. We also use the sanitize feature which probably helps also.

This model does a great job cleaning, is built like a tank, is the quietest dishwasher I've never heard, and the stainless blends in the kitchen so you don't notice it. I'm very impressed with the overall design and build quality of this model. My A/C is louder than my dishwasher! After doing a few loads of all different items, I am totally comfortable with what I spent. The racks are genious, especially the top flat one for kitchen utensils. If reliability is good on this model, it's a home run.

After my 12+ year old Maytag dishwasher died, I looked for a new one and settled on the Bosch 500 series. I also had a friend who bought one about 4 years ago and asked her how they liked theirs. After getting a very positive reply, I purchased one from Best Buy, and within 48 hours, it was installed. It is the most quiet dishwasher ever! And my favorite feature is the thin, flat, top drawer for silverware. The other two drawers are adjustable, and I get many more dishes, pans and utensils in this machine than I could ever imagine! Absolutely nothing I could say that is negative about my new Bosch!

Coming off of two faulty LG dishwashers, it was time to try something different. So far, we are very pleased with all aspects of this machine. It runs quietly and everything comes out super clean. The rack system is very efficient.

I love this dishwasher! I am so used to having to hand wash my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher... but NOT with this one! Skillets with food burned on them will come out clean and glasses come out spotless! The dishwasher is super quiet. It’s sleek stainless steel front (without brand name), matches my other appliances perfectly. I was told Bosch never goes on sale, but to my surprise, it DID and I saved about $200! Highly recommended!
