This Bosch - Powercord with Junction Box for Benchmark and Thermador Dishwashers for Hard-wired installation came with our new dishwasher, but we didnt need it. It appears to be good quality. Our dishwasher isnt hard wired so we didnt need this power cord. I will probably sell it on ebay or similar means. The Bosch dishwasher, however, is an awesome machine! Super quiet! and cleans dishes effectively. I couldnt believe how quiet it is. It actually sounds like it is raining outside. Lightly. Thats how quiet it is. We just love the new dishwasher!!! This power cord is probably just as awesome, but we didnt use it and dont need it. so we will never know.

This junction box adapter is crucial for a seamless installation allowing you to connect the dishwasher's wiring to existing house wiring instead of using a standard plug. The Installers used this Junction Box for an excellent install that is working perfectly.

Connected the washer to the electrical without problems. Do yourself a favor and buy the installation service. The guys knew how to do a clean install and the connection looked very good.

This review is mainly to thank the staff at the Conway Best Buy. I was in a mid-installation pinch and this was the only place that had this on hand. They had one... almost by accident. The staff member searched and searched and did not give up... found it in the clearance inventory. Works great to this day and I am still appreciative.

This thing does it all: It powercords, it junction boxes, it does it for Benchmark, it does it for Thermador... hell - its even for hardwired installations!

This electrical connection box helped to simplify and improve the installation of the dishwasher. The box is used to facilitate hardwired installation. Simply attach your house wiring inside the box through the hole provided and mount box in a convenient location. Plug the cable into the back of the dishwasher. Far more convenient than trying to attatch the typically stiff house wiring directly to the dishwasher and easier when pushing the unit into place under the counter.

Worked well with appliance. Seemed like a good fit.

This did exactly what we needed, which was an easy way to hardwire a new Bosch dishwasher. When we saw the dishwasher only came with a plug, we thought we were dead in the water. We don't have space to put an electrical box in where the dishwasher goes so plugging it into a wall just wasn't an option for us. We brought this home and were back in business - it was incredibly fast and easy to install. I didn't know such a contraption even existed - it's pretty nifty.

So, this came for free with my Bosch dishwasher. I was not sure what it was until i got home with it and unboxed it. It is a junction box with a power cord for the dishwasher. I was very happy that best buy included this for free,

This junction box was provided for free with my Bosch dishwasher purchase. The dishwasher itself is coming with the standard 3-prong power cord. I decided to use this junction box since my old whirlpool was hard wired with the wire twister in a steel box. The instruction was clear, wires were both colored (black, white, and green for ground) and marked. You don't need an unusual T15 star shaped screw driver, just a regular philips + shaped screw driver works fine. It has also 4 holes to attach it to the side wall at the back under the countertop, and I recommend you do this just in case of a leak, to avoid electrical hazard. the wire length is long enough to pull the dishwasher out. Overall, with this box, I was able to perform a clean hard wiring.

It's very easy to use and thank you to Best Buy for including it in with the dishwasher b/c I would had to go to Home Depot to buy more parts to convert hard wire to an outlet. This is a high quality product and easy to connect.

Kit was included with the installation and it all works as expected. Not sure why Bosch is the only company that requires this, but Best Buy included it in the installation, unlike any other store we shopped at for this dishwasher.

I was replacing my dishwasher. Bosch and perhaps certain other dishwashers require an outlet to plug the dishwasher into. My old dishwasher was hard wired without a plug or outlet. Fo a Bosch dishwasher there are two options. Installation of a standard three prong outlet or the Bosch junction box, which includes a plug that connects to the dishwasher. This is definitely the cheaper alternative. I purchased the junction box separately from the dishwasher because at the time of my first purchase, I did not realize that I needed it. When the installers arrived I told them that I had purchased it in case they needed it and they replied that they did need it.
