This Bosch - Powercord with Junction Box for Benchmark and Thermador Dishwashers for Hard-wired installation came with our new dishwasher, but we didnt need it. It appears to be good quality. Our dishwasher isnt hard wired so we didnt need this power cord. I will probably sell it on ebay or similar means. The Bosch dishwasher, however, is an awesome machine! Super quiet! and cleans dishes effectively. I couldnt believe how quiet it is. It actually sounds like it is raining outside. Lightly. Thats how quiet it is. We just love the new dishwasher!!! This power cord is probably just as awesome, but we didnt use it and dont need it. so we will never know.

This powercord with junction box is unique to this brand, and is necessary to connet this dishwasher, due to the configration on the factory installed female electrical connection. Most all dishwashers can be direct wired without this type of device. This ads a cost to your purchase and adds some degree of difficulty when replacing a direct wired unit.

This electrical connection box helped to simplify and improve the installation of the dishwasher. The box is used to facilitate hardwired installation. Simply attach your house wiring inside the box through the hole provided and mount box in a convenient location. Plug the cable into the back of the dishwasher. Far more convenient than trying to attatch the typically stiff house wiring directly to the dishwasher and easier when pushing the unit into place under the counter.

This did exactly what we needed, which was an easy way to hardwire a new Bosch dishwasher. When we saw the dishwasher only came with a plug, we thought we were dead in the water. We don't have space to put an electrical box in where the dishwasher goes so plugging it into a wall just wasn't an option for us. We brought this home and were back in business - it was incredibly fast and easy to install. I didn't know such a contraption even existed - it's pretty nifty.

Used the dishwasher a few months. Super performance. Dishes squeaky clean and it dries them just fine. I thought the upper rack was a gimmick but I like it now. Cleans the eating utensils very well. Controls on this model are hard to see but I am used to it now. Not a big issue. The BEST Buy installers were perfect. They knew the drill. Best dishwasher I have ever had. You will not be disappointed.

This was a practical element and a requirement for installing my Bosch dishwasher.

Worked very well for the dishwasher install. This part was available locally and the price was the same, if not cheaper at Best Buy. I will buy this again from Best Buy. The local wholesale appliance parts store did not have this part but Best Buy did.

So, this came for free with my Bosch dishwasher. I was not sure what it was until i got home with it and unboxed it. It is a junction box with a power cord for the dishwasher. I was very happy that best buy included this for free,

I was very pleased with the quality of the engineering and how easy it went to together to make a safe and secure and convenient power connection for my hard wired dishwasher.

I teally really wsnt to love this dishwasher since it is a Bosch but so far after a couple of weeks im less then impressed. The internal size is considerably smaller, the fancy drying isnt good at nskibg sure anything is dry, and there is this weird flap at the bottom that becomes noticeable and disconnected looking when you open the door. Plus you are forced to buy a plug to have the dishwasher installed regardless of if you actually need that or not. Highly considering returning.
