I was very pleased with the quality of the engineering and how easy it went to together to make a safe and secure and convenient power connection for my hard wired dishwasher.

The electrical junction box was the cherry on top! Made the installation much easier and provided a cleaner and safer environment. So glad we ordered this with the new dishwasher.

This junction box was provided for free with my Bosch dishwasher purchase. The dishwasher itself is coming with the standard 3-prong power cord. I decided to use this junction box since my old whirlpool was hard wired with the wire twister in a steel box. The instruction was clear, wires were both colored (black, white, and green for ground) and marked. You don't need an unusual T15 star shaped screw driver, just a regular philips + shaped screw driver works fine. It has also 4 holes to attach it to the side wall at the back under the countertop, and I recommend you do this just in case of a leak, to avoid electrical hazard. the wire length is long enough to pull the dishwasher out. Overall, with this box, I was able to perform a clean hard wiring.

This was a practical element and a requirement for installing my Bosch dishwasher.

Was included for free with the new dishwasher. Quality little electrical box that was easy to connect and mount inside the adjacent cabinet. Does what it's supposed to do.

It's very easy to use and thank you to Best Buy for including it in with the dishwasher b/c I would had to go to Home Depot to buy more parts to convert hard wire to an outlet. This is a high quality product and easy to connect.

I was replacing my dishwasher. Bosch and perhaps certain other dishwashers require an outlet to plug the dishwasher into. My old dishwasher was hard wired without a plug or outlet. Fo a Bosch dishwasher there are two options. Installation of a standard three prong outlet or the Bosch junction box, which includes a plug that connects to the dishwasher. This is definitely the cheaper alternative. I purchased the junction box separately from the dishwasher because at the time of my first purchase, I did not realize that I needed it. When the installers arrived I told them that I had purchased it in case they needed it and they replied that they did need it.

Huge bonus that its in stock at my local store. Needed the part, worked good, and price is reasonable.

Helpful addition for installing my new dishwasher, however I didn't need it, so I gave it back to the local BestBuy (since it was free) that way they could use it for an open box item that needed it.

If you have to hardwire the dishwasher. It comes with a regular plug-in power cord. Best Buy now sends these out at no cost, however you apparently are required to by the installation kit if you are having the dishwasher installed.

the item was insstalled with little problem and seeks to function properly.

I didn't get to see this at all as they installed it with the dishwasher but assume all is good

Very easy to install, and safer than the direct wiring into the dishwasher itself. If you think you don't need this, YOU DO. You can't wire to the back of the dishwasher without it.

Easy to use. I actually talked my sixteen year old kids through the process. Good learning experience. Much better than wiring in the front oft the dishwasher like other manufacturers require.

Worth the value and the quality of the product is excellent. This accessory is needed to resolve the installation problem of my Bosch dishwasher since the electric supply system of my old dishwasher is hardwired.

This was perfect fit to our new dishwasher. It made installation a lot more easier to do.

what can i say, this works as intended :-) did not go wrong

When I first installed this - it would not run because the top controls are different than other dishwashers I owned - you need to set the controls with the door open - if the door is closed - nothing happens - as I did not have a user manual - the racks are very innovative. One of the main reasons I got this was the third rack. I can put heavily soiled pots in the middle rack and they out really clean. Some reviews I read before I purchased this - mentioned that there are food odors if the door is closed for a few days - I did not see any difference between this and other dishwashers I have owned
