This came with the Bosch dishwasher for free, which is one of the major reasons I purchased the dishwasher from Best Buy. It would have been $20 more everyplace else, and I needed this since the previous dishwasher was wired inline and not plugged in. I put the box under the sink instead of behind the dishwasher to make sure there was enough room to push the dishwasher as far back as we wanted. Was surprised it was a returned unit instead of new, but for free we couldn't complain. It didn't look used.

It's a bit of a disappointment that the newer Bosch dishwashers cannot be hard wired. They come with a cord with a propriety connector on the dishwasher end and no provision for hard wiring. Bosch should include one of these Powercord junction boxes in the package! Having said that, the irritation continues. This junction box must not be installed behind the dishwasher (it is too large to fit on the floor, or up against the back wall of the dishwasher's cabinet). It must be installed in an adjacent cabinet. In my installation, the chord was too short to reach the dishwasher after installation in the adjacent cabinet! If the adjacent cabinet is to the right of the dishwasher, the cord would have reached. My adjacent cabinet was on the left! Solution, have an electrician install a wall receptacle on the back wall of the cabinet where the dishwasher is installed. After you do that, you get to return the Junction Box. Now as to the quality of this junction box, it is Bosch quality! and the lugs for the wires are solid and well made. It is a quality piece of gear and of course, the propriety plug that fits into the dishwasher works perfectly.

The guys who installed the Bosch 300 dishwasher said this was the best powercord for the application. Also said it was much safer than the cord on my old dishwasher.

Crazy how dishwasher needs these to install, but great it came with purchase.

It was needed and ready for the installers to use. No problems going in and now working well.

Powercord fit perfectly on the dishwasher. The quality of the cord was quite evident when comparing to my previous cord.

The Bosch power cord is efficient as it has the junction box attached making installation easier and safer for hard wired installation

I was looking for a power cord for my new Bosch 500, and this is what Best Buy recommended instead of a simple wall plug-in power cable. I ended up returning it because I found the exact one I needed on Amazon for a much lower price.

Best Buy threw this in for free (a $20.00 retail extra) when I bought a Bosch Dishwasher. The cord included with the appliance was a standard 110 outlet grounded plug. My prior Dishwasher had a dedicated hard wire, so this saved me some electrical effort to install an outlet for the new machine. Works great and saved effort and available space under the counter

This was a practical element and a requirement for installing my Bosch dishwasher.

I need to use this junction box to install my Bosch dishwasher because my old dishwasher was hardwired and was not plugged into an outlet. I didn't need an electrician to install it. It was very easy to install because I watched youtube videos on how to install it. It's great that Best Buy included it for free with my dishwasher purchase.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher from an outlet store and was confident I could install it myself. After returning home and doing some browsing through the manual, it stated this part was needed to install and lo and behold, was not included with my purchase. Best Buy had this in stock at my local store and I was able to get it the same day. Scored a lot of points with the wife for having the dishwasher installed before dinner!

This was required as part of the install and I have had no problems at all.

Good quality, easy to follow instructions. However, this should come with the purchase of the $1200 dishwasher.

So quiet I have to get right next to it to be sure it is on.

Simple to use and install. Easy to understand directions. Mounts easily as well.
