Customer Ratings & Reviews

First and foremost, this speaker is indeed a premium investment—heavy and on the pricier side, but worth every penny. When it comes to sound quality, this speaker overwhelmingly upholds Bose's renowned reputation for exceptional audio. I take it with me everywhere, whether I’m working in the garage, enjoying music, or streaming shows from my phone. It's consistently reliable, delivering an impressive sound experience every time. The Bose app enhances the Bluetooth connection by allowing you to tailor the audio with a straightforward equalizer that adjusts bass, midrange, and treble. This feature is particularly valuable because the speaker tends to emphasize bass. And let me tell you, the sound quality is remarkable. The powerful bass is so strong that you can feel the air moving in front of the speaker. It easily saturates a room with rich, clear sound and reaches high volumes without any distortion. Battery life is another standout feature; it barely dips, only about 20%, even after several hours of moderate use. With my frequent usage, I find myself needing to charge it only every 1.5 weeks. Overall, this speaker ranks among the best investments I have ever made.

I bought the Bose SoundLink Max a few weeks ago, and it has honestly exceeded all my expectations. The sound is impressive: powerful bass, crisp highs, and an overall balance that makes any type of music sound incredible. I've tried many portable speakers, but none compare to this one in terms of audio quality. What surprised me most was the volume it can reach without distortion. I've used it at outdoor gatherings, at the beach, and at home, and it's always performed perfectly. The battery lasts a long time, easily giving me more than 20 hours on a single charge. Plus, the design is sleek and robust. You can tell it's made with quality materials. It's also water-resistant, so I don't worry if it gets splashed or if I take it to the pool. In short, if you're looking for a portable speaker that combines power, clarity, durability, and style, the SoundLink Max is an investment worth making. Bose has done it again!

This Bose speaker is built like a tank and delivers excellent sound. The Bose app makes setup, control, and firmware updates straightforward, and keeping the firmware current helps it perform at its best. It charges via USB‑C and includes an aux output, which is very convenient for flexible connections. The speaker is wrapped in a durable rubberized shell, and the buttons feel solid and well constructed, not flimsy or prone to peeling. Bluetooth pairing is seamless, the audio is especially impressive outdoors, and it is designed to handle getting wet, making it a great choice for use outside or around water.

Great product, awesome sound and size. Easy to travel with, and it connects to multiple. Great product to buy if you don’t want to store a huge speaker and you could always buy more to connect if you are looking for something a little louder. I would prefer purchasing 2 or more than investing in a big hunk of speaker you have to store.

Bought this as a gift for my 16 year old son, per his request . He loves it. Great sound and very portable . I personally like the smaller version b/c which he also has because it is lighter and more portable but but he had to have the bigger one he says it has better bass and is louder . We have never tested the range and are always pretty close to it .

This music box has incredible sound- takes up little room ( actually I hide mine behind a tray in my kitchen) / it’s easily transportable from room to room ( however I bought a 2 nd one for my upstairs bedroom). It’s such great quality sound ( although I am biased to Bose as I feel their products exude the best clear quality sound with great bass and volume capability. The next best thing other than a regular stereo- just turn it on and enjoy great music- I carry it around to rooms in my home while I’m cleaning g- keeps me motivated. THE BEST portable music machine that’s out there !!

I’ve been using the Bose SoundLink Max for a couple of weeks now, and it’s been excellent. The sound is clear, balanced, and surprisingly powerful for a portable speaker. Bass is deep without being overwhelming, and vocals come through nicely. The build feels sturdy and premium, and the battery easily lasts all day on a single charge. Bluetooth pairing was simple and reliable. It is on the expensive side, but if you want great sound quality in a portable package, this speaker is worth it.

Very well built. Sound quality is very clean and warm. Bass is not over powering and still feels deep. The bluetooth signal is always steady, and works through walls. Battery life is great even after playing it for hours turned all the way up. Charges fast, and light enough to carry around when I walk.

I love this speaker. The only thing i dont love is how heavy it is. Otherwise the sound is great. Not always the best at super loud volumes, but i dont think anyone needs to go as loud as thisnspeaker goes. Otherwise the battery is great, the sound is good, even at very low volumes. I use this daily and have no reason to switch to another speaker ever again. I hope this lasts me many many years.

This is the best portable Bose Speaker I have ever owned. Bass is beautiful and perfect. Sounds AMAZING. Would completely buy again if i had to get another one, I might even purchase one for my game room, this connects super easy and fast via Bluetooth and I just am amazed how powerful it is being that it is extremely portable because of its size

I used this speaker on a beach vacation and it worked perfectly. Very loud and clear. It produced nice bass on the beach. We also forgot to charge our phones one night so it was a nice option to use the speaker to charge phones on beach!

So glad I purchased this amazing Bose speaker. The sound is crisp and the battery life last a very long time. Very durable!!! Very easy to wipe clean.

I I’ve never experienced such crisp and clear sound from a speaker of this size, and the deep bass is incredible. The first time I tested it in-store at Best Buy, I was completely blown away by the sound quality. I couldn’t wait and bought it the very next day. Yes, the price is on the higher end, but if you truly appreciate top-tier sound, this speaker is worth every cent. It’s now my go-to speaker, especially in the bathroom. The sound is so powerful that it completely drowns out the shower noise—something my old JBL could never manage. In a small room, it could almost replace the need for a home theater, delivering such rich, room-filling sound. The only thing I wish it had is a built-in voice assistant like Alexa or Google Assistant, but other than that, it’s a near-perfect speaker.

I will say this is an insane speaker. Straight forward bluetooth. No wifi or vocie assistant. Its designed strong and packs a punch. Its the perfect beach and pool speaker. It is not intended to be a home speaker which is why it lacks the sonos features. Bose does it again. Big sound. Small design! It is a luxary purchase as it had an intended function as an on the go speaker not a home speaker.

It has a great sound, a lightweight desing, and the battery lasts a long time. Excellent product!

I’ve used every single Bluetooth speaker ever made, most never make it through our hot summer with battery life. This speaker is worth every dollar. Long lasting battery, best sounding speaker for our job site

This Bose speaker completely impressed me! The sound quality is crystal clear with deep, powerful bass and balanced highs. It easily fills the room or outdoor space with rich sound. The Bluetooth connection is fast and stable, and the battery lasts much longer than I expected. I love the sleek design and solid build — it feels premium. Perfect for music, parties, or travel. Definitely worth every dollar!

Nice sound quality. Easy to carry around. Very loud for its size.

I recently purchased the Bose speaker and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The sound quality is exceptionally clean, delivering crisp and clear audio that enhances my listening experience. Additionally, the battery life is remarkable, lasting much longer than I expected, which is perfect for extended use. Overall, I highly recommend the Bose speaker to anyone in the market for a reliable and high-quality audio device.

Definitely recommend this product sounds great and the battery lasts a long time
