This is my 4th Braun shaver and the shave is clean, smooth and quiet. Some people's reviews were questioning, and after having problems with the replacement head on my Series 3, I was hesitant. Almost bought a model, twice from a warehouse store, but kept finding out that they were special models that replacement heads could not be found for. Glad of my purchase!

Razor works very well!! switched from a rotary razor and I'm glad I did. heavy duty and the battery lasts a long time between charges.

Great electric shaver. easy to use and shaves close.

So far this gives me a great clean shave but can be a bit sharp. I've already cut myself each time I use it but I do have a difficult chin that requires a bit of extra force. It doesn't irritate my skin like my last Razer which is the main reason I bought it and the cleaning station helps keeps build up off the blades that is no good for people with allergies like me.

I’ve used Norelco shavers for years. When my last Norelco shaver finally bit the dust, I decided to try a Braun. The new Braun shavers seemed better quality and had the best reviews. I’m happy I bought this one now. I’ve had it a few months and couldn’t be happier. Easy to use and holds a charge for a long time.

This Brawn shaver is awesome to say the least. It has the same great features as the Series 7 and Series 9 but without the steep price. I’ve had this shaver for 6 months and I can’t say enough positive things about it. Being an African American male using this shaver gives me little to no ingrown hairs. As long as I shave with the grain of the hairs all is well.

This replaced a (much) earlier model that was so old the battery would no longer hold a charge. The new head has been modified and gives a closer shave than the old one, which was not bad. I feel a blade gives the best shave, but this is not far behind. I find myself using it far more than I did the old one.

Braun is my first choice on any shaver , i have one Braun shaver before , it last for over 14 years before purchased this one, battery last for 3 weeks before have to charge again . Price is reasonable

The Braun Series 5 electric shaver does a good job shaving a medium to heavy coarse beard. My only complaint is the cleaning attachment. It's just another added product that you have to buy every so often. Other than that it shaves the beard and I'm content.

I've charged this up and still running off the first charge. But the whole system seems a bit complicated and I have not had the time to read the manual yet, which I need to do. It's not intuitive. Have to figure out how to clean this with the plug-in machine and the fluid that comes with it. I don't know what this fluid is, how long it lasts. If I knew how involved this model is, I'd have bought a simpler, cheaper model.

I've been looking for an upgrade to my Braun without breaking the bank and i found it. At the sale price it was worth it

I would recommend this shaver to people who save every two days or so. This shaver is good but sometimes it takes a couple of run throughs to get all the spots. Good price for a shaver.

Gives a nice clean shave. Can handle some longer hairs but not too long. Then there is the trimmer to hel with those.

had an older Braun series 3 that lasted over 10 years of daily use, so i was defiantly going to stick with Braun. i got the series 5 with cleaning station & i'm very pleased with purchase, i would recommend this shaver, you won't be disappointed

I’m 70 yrs. old. Tried & tried various electric shavers over the years. None were worth anything other than a quick knock down of the stubble. ALWAYS felt ripped off. This RAZOR....really is different! A smooth, amazingly close shave & very few passes needed to get a close , smooth shave. I can do a shave quickly ( faster than razor) that is complete, smooth & no burn. There’s no “feels like sandpaper“...No “ you have to use a few weeks till your face/beard adjust “....& I’ll most likely say goodbye to the blade. Amazing. The price at first sets you back. But with Best Buy return policy...worth the try. This Razor is worth the $ because it really WORKS. TRY IT OUT.
