Great brush!

This is my first sonic toothbrush so I can't really compare it to things like sonicare or oral b, but so far I really like it. I've been using it for a week now and my teeth are noticeably whiter and feel cleaner. They actually have a gloss to them that they don't usually. The brush has 3 settings though I prefer the whitening. Basically it's just 3 tiers of intensity with whitening being the most intense. The others are sensitive and massage. Even though I have sensitive teeth, I don't find whitening too abrasive as others have said, but it could be a difference of technique.
The battery life is phenomenal. Came mostly charged and haven't needed to charge it yet outside of a quick 10 min charge out of the box. Others claim nearly a month of battery life which is great.
I also love the bristle texture. Much finer and softer than standard brush bristles. Leaves me feeling super clean each time.
Given the price point and how much improvement I've seen in just a week, I would definitely recommend this to someone looking to try a sonic brush.

I have used a lot of different electric toothbrushes over the years but none quite like the Burst Sonic Toothbrush.
It is not the most powerful or the one with most flashing lights or high-tech features. But is IS the most comfortable, thanks to a small ultra soft brush. It's the softest brush I have ever encountered on any toothbrush. And the only one I have seen with black bristles. Think a soft brush will never get your teeth clean? Guess again. It does a pretty darn good job.
Of course the type of toothbrush you use, from soft to firm, big to small, is often a very subjective issue. Some people who prefer big, firm brushes are never going to be happy with this small soft one. But if you have an open mind on the subject, you might want to give the Burst a try.
It was allegedly designed by experts (or "dental nerds" as they prefer to call themselves), so they should know if this is a good way to go in terms of toothbrush design. This one has the bristles trimmed at a 45-degree angle on one side, supposedly to improve cleaning between teeth.
Aside from the super-soft brush (which they recommend you replace every three months), there is nothing extraordinarily unusual about this electric toothbrush. It has many of the same features you will find on competing brands: three different speeds (whitening, sensitive and to massage), a built-in 2-minute timer, with pulse every 30 seconds to remind you to change quadrants. And it's rechargeable via an included base and USB power brick. Although you won't have to keep it there between brushings if you don't want. One charge is supposed to be good for four weeks.
The motor on the Burst seems much less powerful than many competing brands, but, as mentioned earlier, it still gets the job done. And makes a bit less noise along the way.
The only oddity concerns the controls, which are not all that intuitive. A single button turns it on and off , and that's pretty obvious. Changing speeds is little less so. It turns out you have to hold down the power button until the light cycles between the three options. Let go of power button to stop it at the desired location.
Ah, but what about brush replacements? That's often an expensive venture with some brands. Not so much here, although they try get you to buy into a subscription model, where the simply send a you a new brush every three months. That costs a fairly reasonable $7 plus tax (free shipping, amazingly enough). If you buy them one at a time, they cost $8.
The overall cost of the Burst is also quite reasonable compared to many of the more well-known competitors, so it is definitely worth a look.

Innovative Brush Design, High Quality Product

The Burst Sonic Toothbrush clicked all the boxes for me. It is very high quality and does a great job cleaning my teeth. This rechargeable tooth brush not only cleans your teeth but also has a special brush-head that really massages your gums much better than any product I have used before.
You do need to read the manual as it does explain the three brushing modes and how to select the modes. The device does have a pause every 30 seconds that you will sense, and this is a reminder to move the brush to another quadrant of your teeth. It just takes 2 minutes to do a great cleaning of your teeth. Yes, you should use toothpaste with this brush.
A good idea is to ensure you use new brush heads about every 3 months or even more frequently. I like electronic toothbrushes and I know it is important to make sure you have strong new bristles. You can join a program that will send you a brush every 3 months, but the brush-heads are available from many stores. I noticed that if you enroll in the manufacturer’s brush replacement program, you get a lifetime warranty for the device, otherwise you just register the device for a 1 year warranty. A very nice instruction booklet is included with this toothbrush.
These brush-heads have a small ‘x’ shaped rubber nub that is great for massaging your gums and even for cleaning between teeth – I had not seen this feature before – tip of the cap to the engineers who developed this feature. When done brushing, your mouth does feel very refreshed and clean.
I also liked the handle which is unique in that it has diamond shaped impressions on the handle which does help to control the device. I highly recommend this innovative and very effective product.

Good sonic toothbrush at a good price

There’s a lot to like about the Burst Sonic Toothbrush, it comes in different colors, it’s made well with quality parts, and a good deal for its price.
Everything comes packaged well inside the box, the first time I held the toothbrush in my hand I noticed how sturdy and well built it was, it’s also got a pretty good weight to it, it feels good holding it in my hand, and it feels very premium quality especially for the price.
The only downside is that I like my toothbrushes to be firm, even medium, but unfortunately these toothbrushes have very soft bristles. That might be perfect for some people but not for others like me, so plan accordingly.
Included in the box is the instruction manual, the toothbrush handle, one bristle head, and the charger itself. Speaking of the charger it charges wirelessly by standing the toothbrush on the base.
With 33,000 Sonic vibrations per minute, I felt like I got a pretty good cleaning, The battery seems to last for a long time, and the toothbrush itself has three different brushing modes, cant complain.

Great electric toothbrush

Great electric toothbrush that is about the third one I have had in the last 10 years. I have had the Oral B one that came out a long time ago as well as a Sonic Care one that came with toothpaste packs to feed the paste as you brushed. After using this one now for about two weeks I have to say this is the best one I have used so far.
It charged quickly and so far haven't had to charge it again after using it about two times a day on average the last few weeks. I like the fact that it has 3 different modes. I started off trying the whitening mode but it was a bit more intense than I prefer. I tried the sensitive setting and so far that is the one I am most happy with. I did test out the massage setting and it is also pretty good. It was not as intense as the sensitive setting and has a varied pattern.
Pros
- Initial charge has lasted at least two weeks and is rated for 1 month
- Has multiple settings depending on how intense you want the brush
- Slim profile
- Teeth feel cleaner than just using a regular tooth brush
Cons
- Can't really think of any...

This product is extremely light yet seems very well made. An exciting feature is a cap when the brush head is removed. This is a valuable item that I have not seen in another electric brush that protects the arm when the brush is removed. Installing and removing the brush is super simple. You push it on and pull it straight off. There is no complicated twisting or buttons to push. The feel is comfortable and the buttons are easy to use. Push to turn on and select normal, pulsing or the highest speed. I like the pulsing feature and gives a good massage to the teeth and gums. The charger comes with a USB adapter that a lot of products exclude. It fully charged in less than an hour out of the box. When the battery is completely dead, it is recommended to charge overnight. This device fits the category niche between cheap electric brushes and high dollar units. I am very well pleased and plan to buy one for each member of my family. You will not find another cordless electric brush that works this well for the price.

Silky Clean!

After a week, I can say the name is true, it’s a Burst of freshness. A very sleek tool that leaves your teeth feeling silky. I don’t have sensitive teeth but I thought the vibration would sort of give me nerve tingles but it doesn’t at all. The best part of this brush is how lite weight it is and of course it brushes good. I’ve used Oral B in the past and that’s good too but sometimes you have to brush longer but it depends on the brush.
With the burst, you get a two min timer and a 5 sec pause alert that lets you know to move onto the next section of your teeth. I still brush (lightly) as if it’s not an electronic because my teeth feel more brushed.
The Burst is a great choice if you’re trying to get away from the Oral B experience, which is still good but Burst is just different. The creators are very informative and personable, they tell a great story on the making of this. The true trial will be the battery. One charge lasts a month. It’s been a week for me and no worries. Give it a try!

I have the black Burst Sonic Toothbrush. It is a great looking device. Ergonomically the brush handle fits well in your hand, the handle has a embosed pattern and it is somewhat non-slip. I have another brand of sonic toothbrush which seems to be more aggressive in terms of strokes per minute, but this one cleans just as well. The brush head is very soft but very small in comparison to a regular toothbrush and my other sonic model. It does well cleaning but I think a larger head would be better for overall coverage. Maybe it is just a psychological thing, because I really do think it cleans as well. I however have not noticed much of a change in the whiteness of my teeth yet.
There is a choice of 3 modes all of which clean so it just depends on your preference. I have been using this for about three weeks now, please with the performance so far. Still operating on the original charge. I do wish it would have come with a travel case.
Based on the price and the performance so far, I would recommend this product.

Great new electric toothbrush

I've used a number of different electric toothbrushes over the years. This one is a little different and also my favorite. With most electric toothbrushes, they tell you to move the brush up and down, back and forth, or in circles. Not with the Burst toothbrush. with this one you use the brush at a 45 degree angle and slowly move from one tooth to the next, spending a few seconds per tooth on each side of the teeth. You do each side for about 15 seconds and after 30 seconds it pauses, telling you to move to the next quadrant of your mouth. After 2 minutes, it turns off.
The toothbrush has three modes: whitening, sensitive, and massage. You set the mode by pressing and holding the power button. As you hold the button, the LED indicators on the handle cycle, and you release the button when the mode you wish to use is lit. Press the button again and it will start operating. Each time you turn it on, it will remember the mode you last used. Whitening mode is the most powerful. It's good for stains and whitens your smile. In whitening mode the head does 33,000 sonic vibrations per minute. Sensitive mode is for those with tender teeth or gums. It reduces the power a little but still does a good job of cleaning. Massage mode causes the brush to pulse as you brush.
When the battery gets low, an LED on the brush handle starts flashing red. That means it's time to put it on the charging base. They claim you can use the toothbrush for up to a month before needing to recharge. The charging base comes with a USB cable and you plug it into the included USB power source, or any other USB power source. One thing of note is that the brush does not come with a brush cover. You have to buy one on your own.
The brush uses a soft bristle head that they say should be replaced ever 12 weeks. You can buy them directly from Blast one by one or save a little and get a subscription plan. With the subscription plan, they send you a new head every 12 weeks, and extends you to a lifetime warranty. The plan can include the head as well as dozens of other items that they have available for your teeth, such as different toothpastes and floss.
I really like this brush and can recommend it to anyone looking for an electric toothbrush.

Solid Sonic Toothbrush

I've never owned a sonic toothbrush before. I always used good old toothbrushes. I've been curious to try it and find out if the benefits are actual. Burst claims it's 3x more than a manual toothbrush. It came in simple packaging when the product arrived, nothing fancy, straight to the point. The brush came in sealed packaging. The installation was straightforward. I charged it before used for 1 hour. It came with a charging base and USB wall adapter as well. The toothbrush is water-resistant and comes in three modes: whiten, sensitive, or massage. It recommends that if you brush twice daily in whitening mode for two minutes, you'll see results within 30 days. The whitening mode is the one I used. It was weird at first as I did not know the motion, but after a while I started to get the hang of it. I like that I could reach in the back for cleaning; I had trouble when I used my manual toothbrush. Finally, the toothbrush stops if put applies too much pressure I thought it was cool because I usually finish toothbrushes quickly because I apply too much pressure. I cannot comment on the 30-day results as I have only used it for less than two weeks, but I am enjoying the results so far. I recommend.

A really great toothbrush, convenient for travel

Portable, powerful, and with a long-lasting charge, this is a great toothbrush.
Starting with the box, the packaging shows a refreshing sense of humor, which I appreciated. Read the fine print and you'll see what I mean.
The toothbrush charges overnight, and I was even able to charge it using a Sonicare charging base. The charging base plugs into a USB outlet, and I charged it using a computer port. A single charge has lasted me several weeks, and I believe it will easily meet the claimed one month per charge claim.
The handle was well-balanced, and the ridges made it easy to hold even when wet. The Burst offers three cleaning modes (massage, sensitive, and whitening), making it easy to choose the level of pressure you want, from sensitive gums to full-on cleaning. My teeth felt great, smooth and clean, after using.
While the Burst is about the same size as my Sonicare, the case is most compact and sturdy. I appreciate the small magnets holding the case closed, eliminating the need for a flimsy-feeling latch. Overall, this is a great option for a travel toothbrush.
The Burst is an excellent sonic toothbrush at a very reasonable price.

All toothbrushes are not created equal. This one is no exception. I am familiar with burst and their other products. I just had no idea they made a toothbrush. Right away right out of the pack, there's a stand that you have to put together, but it's just one connection and it's not that serious. Serious. Secondly, I love the sleek design of the shaft. As a nice little sophisticated diamond etched handle for a better grip in my opinion because that's what I've gotten out of it. Third of all, it charged up pretty fast. I never like to take a chance with products right out of the box and trust that they have enough charge. So on to the brushing like most other toothbrushes, it has an alert system that tells you to move on to the other corners of your mouth. I clocked it at 2 minutes just like my old Phillips, but I do feel like it's stronger and has a little bit more push behind it. I feel like there's too fresh is only as good as the toothpaste you use with it and your needs. So be sure to use the toothbrush with the right toothpaste and you're going to get exactly what you need out of this burst.

Sensitive Teeth meets its match.

I love this toothbrush. Its built nice, came in a nice box with a nice presentation so that shows they care about quality.
I have sensitive teeth, so the setting for sensitive teeth works really well in my testing. Although the whitening setting isn't really that rough and should work for most anyone. I love that its rechargeable and comes with a nice dock for your toothbrush to sit in and charge. I do wish it came with more than one head but I guess Ill order additional for future proofing.
Its waterproof, or at least resistant. so rinsing it off after brushing your teeth is not a problem at all. And the smooth plastic material allows for it to come clean, no grooves or patterns on the handle for grime to build up. My Last battery powered toothbrush had this problem.
This toothbrush is supposed to have a month long battery for those that travel. I haven't tested the length of the battery as I just return it to the dock after im finished brushing my teeth. But a great feature for those that do travel.
I can easily recommend this to anyone with regular or sensitive teeth.

Bristles too soft for adults

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
There are three settings for the toothbrush: whitening, sensitive, and gum massage. Comes with a charging stand but the battery life is amazing, lasts up to 30 days. The toothbrush has an internal timer that shuts off after 2 minutes. When I saw that the toothbrush bristles were made of charcoal, I was excited because I know the cleaning properties of charcoal. I'm not going to say that the toothbrush is not effective, but I'm willing to say it was an unpleasant experience. The bristles are super soft and it vibrates to help brush better, but I'm used to harder bristles and even on sensitive mode it's a little uncomfortable.
Another slight turn off is that because it is such an exclusive brand, you have to pay a subscription service to get replacement toothbrush heads. It's only $7 every 3 months but I feel like that adds up to quite a lot very quickly. You have the alternative which is buy each head separately at $8 a head, and that doesn't make that much of a difference.
Overall the toothbrush is gimmicky at best. Works fine for what is does, but the longevity of the product sounds expensive.
