i would have given 5, but the major issues is if you want to infuse the tea directly in it, the center holder only goes upto a certain depth. For this reason, you have to make 2-3 cups of whatever you make for proper infusion. If the filter went down the entire length, this is a 5.

this is the first electric tea kettle I have ever purchased. I love that it has an easy to use digital timer that allows me to set the exact temperature I need it to be. Overall easy to use and keep clean.

I have been using my kettle for a while now, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. It is odd that you can only select the temp by 5's, but it has not caused any issues for me.

Bought this for my wife who makes up to five or six cups of tea a day. She loves it. The different heat setting, the loud enough beep to tell it's done. Very good quality too. It's a nice product.

I like to idea of having the choice of heating levels for my tea. Using this Chefman with the infusion unit means using loose leaf teas without the paper and staples. It's a great product!

I was excited to purchase this tea kettle because it was a "better" quality kettle than the one I had previously and was on sale at Best Buy. I was disappointed when only after 4 weeks of moderate use, it started to leak from the base. I expected more form a $99 valued product. Fortunately I had kept the receipt and the box it came in and exchanged it at Best Buy for different brand.

This kettle does exactly what it should, but the LED light sure does cause an attraction! It takes a few tries to get the Tea:H2O ratio, but, overall, a fun way to enjoy Tea!

I used the kettle for two months before it started to act up. The water would not stop boiling no matter how low I set the temperature, and then it wouldn't shut off. I was doing things around the house and the water boiled completely away and it burned the bottom of the kettle. After that it quit working. I'm just glad that I was home and did not rely on the auto-shut off to turn it off. Beware of this! Their customer service is very hard to get a hold of, no body answers. Finally I went to the directory and punched in letters until I got a person. I sent them everything they needed and I am still waiting for a replacement. I hope the next one is better!

One of the best purchases ive made. I make tea every day, when this stops working, I will purchase it again.
