Great addition for ring doorbell especially for two story or large home. This is nice to have when not near regular door chime or phone.

What nobody told us (I guess because we're senior citizens) is that Ring Chime Pro is ALSO a wifi extender. We purchased this second unit because we were having trouble with spot cams & doorbell going offline. After some research, we learned that kitchen appliances, brick walls & other things will interfere with the wifi signal. Wish the home analyst & geek squad would have explained this to us. Hello, when you're dealing with older people you have to explain the technology to them. Have great signals for our Ring doorbells & spot cams all around the house now.

I was able to put this on the edge of the wi fi effective area and extend not on the wifi but able to hear chime from all locations

I bought this to go with the ring doorbell and it has worked better than expected. I do like playing with all the different sounds.

I don't have a wired doorbell so needed this chime for my new Ring battery operated doorbell. It was easy to install and works great - notifies me of Ring alerts and the actual doorbell ringing. You get to set different tones for each. My problem is with the Ring doorbell itself.

The chime is loud and it’s volume can be adjusted. Needed this because our Ring doorbell couldn’t get a good WiFi signal. This helped, but doorbell is still slow and finicky. Will probably switch over to Nest doorbell when this one dies.

Had to extend my wi-fi that would have drop outs and delay when answering ring doorbell calls. Works exactly as expected!!!!

You'll need this to hear the ring doorbell. It also enhances your Wi-Fi signal. I enjoy the seasonal rings you can enable!

Over all not a bad chime you can change the sound. I like the barking dogs.

Purchased this extender since the Ring doorbell kept losing connectivity with the router at the other end of the house. Which is surprising with the workhorse router I have. Installed the extender about halfway between router and doorbell and after some hiccups the entire system is working fine now. The app picked up the extender and doorbell with minimal issues but once recognized, they both work as advertised and have minimal to no issues with this product. Distance between doorbell and extender is about 30 ft. Distance between router and extender is about 50 ft with multiple walls. I upgraded the doorbell transformer when installing the Ring doorbell.

It compliments the ring door bell very well and it was able to give signal all through out my home. Upstairs and down.

i love this ring extender. i was able to connect it seemly through the ring app. and now my ring floodlight cam works perfect.. i highly recommend this product.. if you want a dedicated wifi extender for your ring products ( note: it does not give wifi signal for phones etc)

Works well as a chime, but wasn’t enough to boost my signal between my 2 rings, front and back. I ended up getting a wifi mesh sytem, but I still use this for a chime. Lets me know when anyone approaches and acts as a doorbell to ring2.

I bought the Ring Chime after installing two spotlights and a Ring Doorbell. I had some problems before with internet connection to my back light. After installing this wifi extender..problem solved!! Easy to set up and connect. A must have if you purchased a Ring battery operated doorbell.

We put our our Chime upstairs where the sound of our normal doorbell doesn't reach. Very easy set up and so helpful.

The Chime Pro is very easy to set up and to add to a previous device.

This device is used to connect help connect to my modem from the doorbell able to set for motion and for Brig chimes

I purchased a Ring Pro doorbell and installed it. My router is on the other side of my house so my signal was just OK. There was a definite delay when the bell rang and the video on my phone lagged. I installed the Chime Pro and fixed both problems. Not only does it extend your wifi signal (only for Ring products) but it acts as a chime for you doorbell. I have since purchased 2 Ring Spotlights ...one for my basement door and one for my driveway (garage walk thru door). Of course, both of those were also just on the edge of wifi ...so I purchased 2 more Chime Pros...Easy to setup and does a great job extending the signal. The downside is they are a bit expensive, but I think totally worth it for the piece of mind I now have that I now when someone is coming near my home. Its cool you can change the Chime tones to a number of tones. For my garage and basement I chose the dogs barking...Could be a bit a bit louder but all in all pretty neat. Oh and the customer service for Ring is first Class. I had to call them for my doorbell install...answered the phone quickly and the agent was very nice and patience. Highly recommend.
