I purchased a Ring Pro doorbell and installed it. My router is on the other side of my house so my signal was just OK. There was a definite delay when the bell rang and the video on my phone lagged. I installed the Chime Pro and fixed both problems. Not only does it extend your wifi signal (only for Ring products) but it acts as a chime for you doorbell. I have since purchased 2 Ring Spotlights ...one for my basement door and one for my driveway (garage walk thru door). Of course, both of those were also just on the edge of wifi ...so I purchased 2 more Chime Pros...Easy to setup and does a great job extending the signal. The downside is they are a bit expensive, but I think totally worth it for the piece of mind I now have that I now when someone is coming near my home. Its cool you can change the Chime tones to a number of tones. For my garage and basement I chose the dogs barking...Could be a bit a bit louder but all in all pretty neat. Oh and the customer service for Ring is first Class. I had to call them for my doorbell install...answered the phone quickly and the agent was very nice and patience. Highly recommend.

I live in 3rd floor with the door bell installed on 2nd floor. But between a phone and the door bell on terms of getting more steady wifi signal, the door bell definitely need more way to receive connection. I even bought the doorbell wifi extender and didn't help. Turn out returning both item.

All I wanted was to have a regular chime and this one works with ring Door bell 2 nothing special but it's works

The chime pro does what it is intended to do. It acts as both a doorbell chime and a wireless network extender. Bear in mind that using an extender of any kind creates a new network with a different SID. Devices will not seamlessly switch to the “access point” with the better signal. This doesn’t matter so much for stationary devices like the ring doorbell but it is something to keep in mind if your looking to expand the range of your phone or similar device.

Is it to set up and connect to the system I put in the right place for more coverage. This works very well.

Not only does it extend your WiFi network but it acts as a speaker two for motion alerts and chimes

Bought this to sync up with my Spot Light Camera. Camera is installed at Driveway, chime could not stay synced. I used another wifi booster/extender with better success. The Chime is located at the front door to get the feed from the door camera. The different chimes are great. Just used the witches cackle for Halloween.

So happy this was available to use with my Ring cameras-Spotlight and Doorbell 2. Let's you know when the wi-fi is working strong enough or not. Allows you to view cameras that may have been out of your wi-fi range. Easy to install and get working with your Ring products.

This extender makes it louder in the room my husband is in most so if someone’s at the door or if this motion on my porch he can definitely hear it I think it’s a must have for the ring doorbell if it’s not hooked into your other house doorbell

Plug in, connect to wifi, then choose the bell sound from the options given. So easy.

I purchased the chime to use along side the Ring doorbell. Works great with Ring.

Brought this product, as had issues with my RING PRO. Most of the times, i got delayed video, and poor picture quality due to distance between router and RING. But with the Chime Pro, this has been addressed and dont have issues connecting and have improved reception of videos. Good product
