In the first part of the trip we kept hitting the wrong buttons and were not hearing everything. With time and daylight we figured that out. Too many buttons on that side.

Features I like: uses AA batteries (nimh or alkaline) , can recharge in the car using standard phone charger, clear sound, easy to use. I can't comment on long distance range because I'm always within a half mile of other cars.
