It's a basic, no-frills curling iron. It heats up quickly and has adjustable heat settings for different hair textures. Probably damaging to the hair since it isn't ceramic or tourmaline, but I figured with my occasional use it doesn't matter so much.

Great product, but I wish that I Could make the curls hold longer. But I love the barrel.

I'm always leery of buying the cheaper brand hair products. But this one is awesome. I have very coarse hair and it curls it well and the curls stay all day. It definitely gets as hot as I need it to. 1.25 size is the perfect size for the curls I like. This is a great curling iron!

First, I have to comment on how fast this item was shipped. I ordered it one day and received it 4 days later. I didn't immediately use this curling iron as I try not to use heat very often. I finally used it this past weekend and think this product is awesome. It really only took seconds to heat up to high. It was also a breath of fresh air to finally have the off/on button away from the "finger/hand" zone where you mistakenly turn the curling iron off while your curling hair. Additionally, I can't pretend like I didn't enjoy the placement of the heat temperatures. Most importantly, this curling iron did not skip a beat when it came down to curling my wig. I only needed to curl each piece of hair one time, let the curl cool and tadda, a big beautiful springy curl that lasted even after I took the wig off. I only gave this curling iron 4 stars because it wasn't made with tourmaline and probably wouldn't be the best iron to use on your own hair often. The temps really kick out heat so be careful.

Basic curling iron that gets the job done. Heats up quickly and is easy to use. It doesn't have extras, and it's not coated with anything that will protect your hair. But for occassional use, it's good.

Good in a pinch, not the best for your hair, but I was in dire need for a curling iron at the time
