Great price for a CPU sitting between the 5000 series Ryzen 5 and 7. It does run a tad warm but a great cooling solution will take care of it and still run silent. I would highly recommend if you can’t get your hands on the newer Ryzen CPU and you get 2 more physical cores for less with great gaming performance.

This Cpu is great especially for starting you have so much power for its price!!

great cpu for the price especially now that you can't barely find computer parts. only thing is your going to need a good cooler for this because it runs hot and thermal throttles itself. doesn't come with a fan. good cpu but if you want to stream you might consider amd.

Upgraded from a i7 to the i9 and man I wish I would have done it sooner the change in gaming and video editing is 10000x noticeable. The thermals on this CPU are nice paired with a good cooling. I have overclocked the speeds to 5.2 and not even coming close to high temps

Excellent chip. Have no issues overclocking this chip if that's your thing. Either in the bios or with Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. Save yourself the headache and pick up the one over the 10900k.

It is a processor behemoth. Absolutely fantastic. The only thing of note: according to Intel, Best Buy is a participating retailer that distributes a Marvel Avengers gaming package/game when you buy this processor (actually it is one of many). When I picked it up, the rep told me a code would arrive by email. Never did. Following up with BB via chat and in-store got me nowhere. No one at BB seems to know what I am talking about and I invested too much time asking about it so I gave up. Not a knock on the processor at all. And yes, I do recognize BB probably has better things to do this time of year, but that part of it has been a little disappointing.

Easy upgrade, amazing intel, for the price I got it, I would suggest this over the i9-10900, because this was on sale and honestly does the same, if you need a bigger upgrade, there's always AMD Ryzen 9 zen 3, or Intel 11th gen.

Fantastic cpu, basically the same as the i9-10900, maybe 1-2% performence difference for way cheaper then the 10900 is going for on amazon.

Nice affordoable on sale and sort of hot. Definitely thinking about switching to amd in the future but this hit just the right price for me. Hopefully I can buy a gpu sometime within the same year.

Really happy with 10 cores and awesome speed. Boots win 11 in 7 seconds. I also am using onboard graphics and i am really happy with that Delivery from BB was great and in stock.

Very easy to overclock on an MSI Z490 board. Stable at all-core 5.0 GHZ with vcore not exceeding 1.3V. (A Dark Rock Pro 4 air cooler is used to make sure it does not throttle.) It beats my expectations.

Excellent speeds compared to the 10900K, almost on par in the benchmarks ran comparing both processors. Considering the price difference, this is a perfect buy for a powerful gaming/editing machine.

This CPU has been great and is a great value considering how similar it is to the 10900k. This CPU won’t bottleneck your next gaming CPU and does well with both single and multithread processing.

i dont do a lot of processes so multiple cores arent a huge deal for me. this works on my pc, i havent had any issues. probably never going to overclock and i didnt want to wait for amd 5000 series stock or the 11th gen chips. stays cool with my 360mm AIO cooler and havent crashed for any unknown reason. its only 100mhz less than the 10900k which is less likely to be in stock.

What's not to love about 10 cores and 20 threads? This is the second one I bought and both have been rock-solid with no buggy installation issues. Plug and play is what this does.

Beast of a CPU. Essentially the same as the 10900 CPU so a way better value than that one. This CPU has handled everything I’ve thrown at it with ease.

Great CPU so easy to over clock to 5.6 GHz's Runs well. At idle runs at 26c vs 36c with the I-7. Glad I upgraded. I would love to see were intel goes next with the 11th gen.

Runs fast but warm. Great choice for those need a powerful CPU for gaming (fast IPC and single-core performance) and productivity (multi-core parallel processing). However, because this uses the new LGA1200 socket, it is not compatible with Z390/Z490 boards and is not in the upgrade path for those with 8700Ks or 9900Ks.

Working flawlessly. Price big reduction from older i9s. Tremendously sped up after full system upgrade from i7 3rd generation.
