Amazing cpu. Upgraded from a i7 9700k and the extra 2 cores and 12 threads are worth the upgrade. So far it has taken absolutely everything I have thrown at it. Some reviews talk about it running warm but in my build with the 9000d corsair case and corsair 360mm aio, cpu Temps are well below range and stays cool for long gaming sessions

When a company like Intel creates a CPU design, the process of manufacturing brings about variation on the quality of the product. Some cores will only reach a certain frequency, while others have surprisingly good voltage characteristics. Two goals of processor design are minimizing this variance, but also shifting the peak higher, all while controlling how much of the silicon is actually useable. This is part of the magic of ‘binning’, the process of filtering the silicon into different ‘bins’ for applicability to a given product. It is through this process that the Core i9-10850K exists, albeit reluctantly.

Super happy with the processor! I upgraded from an i7-8700k. I was pretty hesitant et first because I was happy with the 8700k for a while. But what a performance increase! I do a lot of 3D modeling and rendering. This CPU doesn’t hesitate, even while gaming and streaming.

This is simply a great bang for the buck CPU for gaming and content creation. No need to pay extra for the 10900k. The 10th gen Intel CPUs are better than the 11th gen. No need to look at another upgrade for a number of years now.

I saw a lot of comparison review between this and the 10900k and naturally the 10900k edges it out just slightly because of the higher base clock out of the box. That said I have had no issue getting great performance out of this chip and the fact that it’s actually available unlike the 10900k is great!

Very good CPU choice. Although, I didn't get the luck of the litter considering I could only get 4.9 overclock. Still really good though and can play anything above 80 fps steady. Just as good as a 10900k if you're trying to save some money.

I bought this the i9-10850K because I didn't want to wait another day to pick up the 10900. I'm well known for my patients. Anyway this CPU works great with a Z490 pro mobo. Also the fact that its unlocked and I can overclock it to 5000 Mhz without overheating is amazing.

Just about the best you can get! Watch for price drops, with this cpu around $450 or less its a fantastic purchase and slightly better value compared to ryzen 5000. Mine overclocks to 5.1ghz all core with solid temps!

So far this processer is outdoing all of my expectations. Pages are loaded before even thinking about clicking on them. Paired with the new 970 m.2, my computer boots in 1 to 2 seconds from pressing the power button to being accessable and working

This is the CPU to get for cheap high end gaming desktop. It'll use more power than Ryzen 5000 but it's cheaper than it and be within 5% of Ryzen 5000 as well. PCIE 4.0 vs 3.0 does not matter that much outside of certain edge cases.

Good processor. Only thing is that Best Buy needs to ship the items new n teach you people how to pack them . Other than that this cpu is a good update . Work great . Make sure you get a water cooler

pros. insane multi core performance in gaming and multitasking. on par with zen 3 for gaming. Got it on sale for $379 cons You are are going to need A1 cooling and make sure your power supply is sufficient cuz this thang uses some juice.

I thought I was going to regret getting it with the 11th gen CPUs coming out in a couple of months. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't because the value from the 10th gen CPUs are far better with 2 extra cores for their flagship chips.

I have installed this processor in many different systems each configured slightly differently. It has stood up against a max over clocked system and a system that is just slightly pushing its bounds. Just remember to use a proper cooling system with is or you will have issues, a normal cooling fan will not keep this processor cool is you are going to push it even a little.

I needed something to work with high density meshes in Blender. It has done very well with a moderate overclock and temps are perfectly manageable under load with a quality cooler.

Working in IT, I have used and worked on a ton of different computers from low end to super high end. Hands down, this is the best processor I have ever worked with. Anything I throw at it, it handles without issue.

In doing lots of research for my first PC build I am happy that I went with this chip. It has been reliable and fast. I don't believe ill ever actually use this to its full potential.

Good processor no issues. I can't use this properly at the moment since I can't buy a GPU. Maybe if Best buy would sell GPUs in stores this situation would be different. Unfortunately they have decided to sell them online only giving scalpers with expensive bots the advantage. The processor is great though. While it isn't as fast as some AMD offerings it is unlikely to impact my uses. This benchmarks as well as the more expensive 10900k. Same performance less expense.

Yes ! I can feel the power of the GODs with this. Huge difference 10 cores uufff. Definitely worth buying . I was lucky enough to buy at a cheaper price . Waited almost a year but i finally got it.

I just built a computer with this CPU because I was able to get it $90 cheaper than the 10900k. It is very similar and is certainly worth saving that much money between the 2. So far no issues and am enjoying it.
