Solid product, great quality. Had to play with audio settings a bit to get them dialed in just right for CPU gaming. Friends on other end state the mic quality is great. Would give this more stars if i were allowed to do so. Pros - Build quality, Sound, Comfort, Mic quality, 3 way audio connection, RGB Cons - Bit pricey, can get heavy after extended use

    Microphone is Great

I bought these because I had some issues with my VOID Pro Microphone constantly muting on its own. I really love the look of these headphones. On top of that, my friends immediately noticed I got a new headset because of my audio quality. Their words were "it is like you are speaking directly into my brain". They are not quite as comfortable as the VOID Pro, but they are not uncomfortable. It took me some time messing around in the EQ settings to get the audio quality at a good place though. The sound quality is, in my opinion, a bit worse than the VOID Pro. Still good though and its definitely 4 stars for me.

Pros: High quality build, fresh look, very comfortable, great sound isolation, subtle RGB, good accessories, very good sound quality for gaming. Cons: Just OK mic quality, for 50mm drivers the bass is VERY week, could be louder (once again, for 50mm drivers they're not very loud) ICue software is EXTREMELY buggy, you need it to use Dolby Atmos and to customize the RGB, but for me it made using them wireless impossible (kind of the point of it) really hoping the ICue bugs get fixed. To summarize, if they are able to fix the volume and bass issues and ICue with software patches then these are hands down the BEST gaming headphones on the market in my opinion.

Great wireless headphones with built in boom mike. These are comfortable, and the battery life is great. My son has been using this for zoom meetings for school and he wears them most of the day without having to recharge them. I've been on the same meeting with him on a different computer, and voice clarity through the microphone is excellent.

The first thing you'll notice with these is the build quality - Corsair really did a great job here. It looks and feels like a premium headset, as it should, since you are paying a, somewhat, premium price. The clamping force is not extreme, as others have stated, and the headband isn't uncomfortable either. Although, it is a bit stiff, but it doesn't feel bad at all - it's actually the most comfortable headset I've ever owned. The main differences between the SE and the standard Virtuoso are the brushed aluminum on the outside of the earcups and a bigger, supposedly better quality, microphone. Otherwise they're completely the same - they both charge via USB C, have a micro USB detachable microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Are they worth an extra $30? It's up to you - you're essentially getting the same quality headset, functionally speaking, either way. I'm a sucker for the way things look, and boy, do these look good! It was worth it to me. They sound great, but you'll have to do some tinkering with the EQ within Corsair's iCue software in order to get them to sound how you'd like. In fact, you have to do everything within their software, including switching from stereo to 7.1 surround sound. This isn't a big deal, but it would have been nice to have a physical button that switches the headset in and out of these modes without having to open the program each time. I don't necessarily like the virtual 7.1 surround sound, as it doesn't really give you a rich experience, but that is how I feel about ALL virtual 7.1 headsets that I've tried. I just keep mine on stereo, but the option is there for to play with. The microphone is the main reason I give this headset a 4/5. The microphone isn't terrible, and some of the video reviews I've seen really makes it seem like it is, but it definitely isn't good. It's just - okay. Supposedly, the microphone on the standard pair is even better than the SE headset. I'm not sure how that makes sense, but there are videos that show the difference. The only other gripe that I have is that they aren't Bluetooth. It would have been nice to connect these to my laptop or phone wirelessly, but at least they come with a 3.5mm jack so that you can use these as a standard pair of headphones. I'm very, very happy with these and I don't think you'll be disappointed. I love wearing them and they were a big upgrade to my Void RGB Pro headset. Overall, I'd say they're worth the money and Corsair did a great job - minus a few gripes; however if microphone quality is the most important thing to you, I think you can do better. The Sennheiser Game One headset has the best microphone that I've tested so far and I'd recommend those to anyone who cares about that more than sound quality.

Recently snagged the CORSAIR VIRTUOSO SE Wireless Gaming Headset from Best Buy, and it's been a game-changer. The 50mm neodymium drivers deliver top-notch audio quality, from thunderous explosions to subtle in-game details. The build is sturdy yet comfortable, with plush ear cups and a detachable noise-canceling microphone. The Slipstream Corsair Wireless tech ensures seamless connectivity, and the sleek design, complete with RGB accents, adds a touch of style. Though a bit pricier, it's worth the investment for gamers who prioritize premium audio and comfort.

Best gaming headset I’ve ever owned.

I didn’t intend to buy the SE version as it was more expensive. But I had the money and needed a headset. It feels really bomb proof and is comfortable but this will depend on the shape of your head and the size of your ears. The ear cups are round and the top of my ears touch the inner cup and well as my earlobes. As this didn’t really bother me and I don’t notice after a while not a big deal. But some people’s ears are more sensitive, so you may want to borrow a friends or go in store to get a feel before buying. The mic seems to be great quality as I’ve had no complaints about being heard. Most Corsair mic’s flip up to mute where this one is a button so that takes some getting used to. The mic is also detachable and can be used wired or wireless with lots of other devices and can be connected via Bluetooth. Comes with a wireless dongle, usb A to usb C cord and a double ended Aux cord. The only negative I have is that if it dies and you need to run it wired the plug is at an angle the directs the cord right into you shoulder and can be uncomfortable. Keep it charged and this is a non issue.

These headphones make music sound as if you were in the studio when the recording was being made. The grandchildren say they are excellent for gaming as well. They are close to the top price wise unless you catch a sale price then they sound even better. Very comfortable even after extended use but tend to make your ears quite warm after long gaming sessions. Could do without the RGB but the grand kids love it. Wish they put the extra money towards changeable ear covers. Sturdy and should go the distance even with teenagers using them.

They are great for sound intensive games, games in which you need to hear what is around you. The mic is clear and crisp and the sound is perfect for music and gaming. It also is just enough to block out your surrounding sounds. The cushions are great and feel wonderful and the battery life is wonderful! Would recommend these.

I somehow bought these headphones long before they were meant to be released, so it was definitely an impulse buy on my end. The sound quality is oddly a bit worse than my Logitech G933's for some games, but those heavily EQ everything on their own as far as I can tell (so I don't mind). The Corsair Virtuoso's give pure, natural sound in all applications, and although I haven't tried them in any FPS games, these headphones work MIRACLES with FL Studio. Producing music has never sounded better on a pair of WIRELESS headphones, and they can be wired via 3.5mm cable or USB type C to A, so when the battery starts to eventually drain, I can just plug them right in for a near-seamless transition. Sorry Corsair if these weren't meant to hit shelves yet but you guys saved me from having to buy AKG or Sennheisers and gave me a reason to invest deeper in your product line (as long as iCue keeps working).

I use for work at home, great sound, and the mic is high quality, clients have no issues hearing me. Also, fit snugly around my ears blocking outside sound and are comfortable to wear, even with glasses. Only problem with the snug fit is my ears get hot so I remove between calls.

An amazing headset for what I like but other people may not. It’s not very tight on the head(but I prefer that) the surround sound works great in FPSs with know where your opponent is. Pretty loud but sometimes wish it was louder. Love that the mic comes on and off. I stream so it’s great to use with my PS4/PC or I can just plug it into my mic with the audio cord. I bought this for versatility and I can’t complain but I can see how people don’t like that it can sleep time to time but overall comfortable.

Overall it is a good headset, it hooks up to my PC with no issues. The Corsair software is pretty easy to use. The sound is amazing. It has both wireless and USB options when hooked up to the pc. The battery life is very good. It also looks good with the rest of the Corsair products when they are all linked together. The only disappointment is it does not connect well to the xbox gaming system. It connects thru the controller, however it does not light up or have volume control when used with the xbox.

These are super comfy to wear and they sound great. The detachable high quality mic is a really cool and usable feature. You can also wear these for a long time without the discomfort. They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. My only gripe is that when I plugged these straight into my laptop using the included USB Cable I kept hearing an odd echo in everything that play through them. Nothing in the settings or Windows settings would prevent it. Sadly I returned them and got a different brand of headset.

The headphones are pricey for what they give. The microphone and sound quality are great when it works. I often have connectivity issues where the headphones will randomly disconnect from my PC. The iCUE software used to control the headphones also glitches out often. The headphones are also rather heavy and are uncomfortable to my ears. The wireless range is good. There are better options for the price.

I have so many Corsair products, I had to get this headset to complete my look. However, there are better headsets that weigh much less. Biggest complaint is that they are heavy and fall off my head if I bend to pick up something. Otherwise, quality of sound and audio clarity is just fantastic. Watch the Linus Tech Tips video on Youtube to get the best idea on how to tune the EQ. Once I followed those instructions, they were great.

Although I did return this headset, it was amazing! Sound Quality: 5/5 Mic Quality: 5/5 Comfort: 4.0/5 Reason for return: my head is pretty big, and I'm a bit of a crybaby since I'm really sensitive. The headset was a little tight on my head, and extended periods of use would hurt my scalp. Furthermore, my ears got a little stuffy as well, but not to the point of irritation. The pros were amazing though- the cushions are memory foam, the mic is legit broadcast quality, audio was crystal clear and easily adjustable, battery life was GREAT, and the range on the headset was amazing as well. Unlike other headsets with weaker frequencies as well, the headset had no interference from other devices. Honestly, this is an amazing headset- even comfortable with glasses on. For those that want to know if this headset will fit: my head is about 13 inches from ear to ear (topside), so if your head is small than that, you should be fine!
