I've bought four of them now to hold media content for the family. Decent throughput, as well. Surprising being they are USB but pleasently surprised.

This drive has been working well so far (the lower non-Pro model of same brand did not work well). It's very fast. Small & lightweight. Time will tell if it remains sturdy for the long haul.

Great Little Drive

And the speed is incredible. About the size of a Cfast card, just a bit thicker. Caution. If you are on a Silicon Mac (M Chipset) go for the x9. You'll only get 10Gb/s bus speeds anyway.

Speedy SSD with concerning reliability

A Fast Storage Solution

The Crucial’s Thunderbolt connection was the perfect choice. After partitioning the new drive, I redistributed my files and have noticed a significant improvement in file access speeds. I would recommend this unit - although I read that a newer version is now available.
