I am hoping that it last longer than the standard back up drives with the spinning disks as they do not last. Love that it takes up almost no size on my desk and worth the price when on sale.

Super fast, I work 4k raw video projects from Final Cut straight from the drive without any buffering. If your computer goes to sleep there’s a chance the drive disconnects itself which is a bit odd.

I've bought four of them now to hold media content for the family. Decent throughput, as well. Surprising being they are USB but pleasently surprised.

And the speed is incredible. About the size of a Cfast card, just a bit thicker. Caution. If you are on a Silicon Mac (M Chipset) go for the x9. You'll only get 10Gb/s bus speeds anyway.
