Perfect coffee maker. Simple, easy to clean. Highly recommend it

Each morning I awaken to the sounds and smell of my freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee!

I love to be able to enjoy fresh ground coffee when I get up in the morning.. I never used to use whole beans because we like setting the coffee pot the night before. I didn't want to get the grinder out.. Now that I can put the beans in the coffee grinder attached to my maker it's fresh ground coffee every morning.

Does everything what I need in coffee maker, Grind and brew instantly.

Looks good, brews good but.... Steam/water builds up in the coffee beans compartment. This requires disassembly and drying everything after each use. Not the greatest design and probably wouldn't buy again.

Had one for 10 years. Loved the grind for fresh pot of coffee. Keeps the very hot for good amount of time. Really like the overall operation of the coffee pot.

It is great! If you are going to grind beans every morning & like to set it up the night before you have to remember to clean it early in the day so it is dry.

We love the grind and brew feature. Also that we can make as few as 4 cups at a time or a full pot. Keeps the coffee hot as well.

Was going to buy a new coffee maker and new bean grinder, but saw this had the combo. Not what I expected. The bean grinder gets clogged and damp. Have to spend ten minutes every day cleaning it. I'm taking it back.

This machine didn't worked as advertise.(grinder do not performed good) Because I was sick, didn't return on time product. No option other than keep and pay.

This is my 3rd Cuisinart Grind and Brew and I have loved all of them. I like the style of this one the best and it is a little bit easier to clean than my previous Grind and Brews. I agree with a lot of other reviews that it is a little more work to clean and maintain but I feel that if you enjoy a great tasting cup of coffee that it is work the extra couple of minutes it takes to clean it. If you let the parts dry thoroughly before you set it up to brew for the next day it works just fine. I admit that the grinder is a bit noisy but once I got used to it most mornings I didn't even hear it grind the beans. I had to temorarily use a Mr. Coffee machine I had before I got this Cuisinart grind and brew and the coffee tasted so bitter compared to the grind and brew. I would give this product 5 stars across the board but it is a little bit of a pain to clean but I feel it is worth the effort. If you don't have the time or don't want to fool with the cleaning the Grind and Brew is not for you.

I was really excited about this product but after one use I discovered that it was going to be kind of a pain to use and clean. -Steam gets pushed into the grinder making it caked with residual coffee grounds after one use...which will also clog the area that the grinds fall into the filter if you aren't mindful. -The grinder goes on for way to long. -The steam that is trapped also cakes coffee grinds onto everything it touches...the area around and above the filter as well. Just seems like a poorly designed product although it IS refurbished so it may have been a problem created by the people who refurbished it. - Every once in a while the coffee we make will come out very light and weird...we use the same scoop and amount every time...very odd.

The idea behind the grind and brew is great, however it doesn't work well at all. The grinder holds a very limited amount of beans, so you are only able to grind enough for about 5 cups, which doesn't quite fill my wife and I's travel mugs for the ride to work in the morning. Because of this if you want more then 1 mug full, you have to brew another pot, and basically start all over. Therefore, if you want to use the grind and brew feature consider the fact that this is only about a 5-6 cup coffee maker, not the 12 cup is lists in the description. Also, the grinder portion is housed in the same area as the water, so when it brews steam condenses in the grinder causing it to get gummy. This means you have to wash it and dry it every day after brewing. With my stand alone grinder, I could grind more than a week's worth of coffee before needing to clean it. I am switching back to my old Mr. Coffee and stand alone grinder.

At first it took me a little bit to figure out, the instructions are not super clear on how to get it brewing after you grind. I don't understand why people are saying you can only grind 5 cups worth, you can put up to 14 scoops in the grinder and it takes about a scoop per cup so if your making the full 12 cups add 12 scoops! Or 14 if you want it stronger! It is a pain to clean and I agree the steam makes the grinder gummy but it brews a good cup of coffee! Well worth the cleaning time I think!
