Customers value the Gamer Ultra Desktop's performance and graphics capabilities, frequently praising its speed and visual quality. Many appreciate the affordable price and the ease of setup, along with the included keyboard and mouse. However, some customers noted the absence of a CD drive and reported issues with fan noise and occasional motherboard problems. While most users experienced smooth gameplay with minimal lag, these issues should be considered.

Inconsistent Buy

This was my first time purchasing a CyberPower pc. I had to return the pc, because there was no signal being sent to the monitor. I tried troubleshooting the issue to no effect and CyberPower tech support could not help; I had already tried all of their ideas and they could only offer a six-week repair/replacement. Luckily, Best Buy's return policy allowed me to exchange the pc. I chose to exchange it for the same model. The replacement works, but there seem to be driver issues that can be found on forums discussing the Radeon RX 480 graphics card. I've had the screen go pink and become unresponsive at least once, but I'm hoping that some updates will resolve this issue.
Pros:
- I have a multi-monitor setup (70" 4K, 40" 1080p, 39" 1080p, and 32" 720p tvs) and the graphics card, with one HDMI and three DP slots, is more than capable of handling all monitors at once (had to purchase hdmi to dp cables, but that's no biggie)
- The motherboard allows for memory and graphics to be expanded
- Whisper quite....I can barely hear the fans and that's only when I have everything else (e.g., A/C, tv, w/d, etc.) turned off in my apartment
- Shipping on the initial pc was very fast (ordered at 3pm on a Monday and received at 3pm on the following Wednesday)
- Customer service at Best Buy was great
Cons:
- Different motherboards are used (Gigabyte on the defective and ASUS on the replacement), so quality control is more difficult
- On the replacement, there was a missing screw meant to hold one of the expansion slot covers
- CyberPower's repair service seems to be very slow
Because of my initial experience, I will likely get the additional protection plan from Best Buy. Hopefully, I won't need it.

In the scene of PC Gaming, prebuilts are usually frowned upon. Usually its due to companies like Alienware and IBUYPOWER charging outrageous amounts for rigs that you can build yourself for much less dosh. However, this is a prebuilt that defies those stereotypes. This review will go over most of the important parts in the PC explaining why each one is good for the price and why its important to get if you're a semi-budget gamer who doesn't want to build their own.
The CPU: AMD FX-8350
Not the greatest CPU by any means, but it gets the job done and it does it extremely well. If you're the type of gamer that sticks to games like Call of Duty, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, or indies, this CPU will keep you going for a very long time. However, if you're the type of gamer who enjoys playing gigantic open world games like The Witcher 3, Fallout 4, GTA 5, or intensive games like Battlefield 1, you MAY experience a very VERY small amount of bottleneck if you're keen about these sort of things. However, I myself enjoy playing these types of games and I have no problem with it. I'd say the CPU is the weakest part of the rig, but considering its strength that's saying a lot.
The GPU: AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
Straight out of AMD's hot oven comes one of the best value/performance cards on the market. Priced at just above 200$, this card will absolutely annihilate any AAA game (minus Star Citizen, that game requires a truck of a rig to run) at ultra graphical presets. You will get at least a constant 60 FPS on any modern game and much more on older games. If you have the right type of monitor, this beast of a card can run games at 1440p (2160x1440) extremely well for its price, at around 60 FPS on high settings on most games, with the occasional tweaking of V-Sync and AA on games that may prove to be a bit much. All in all, this graphics card will run everything you throw at it. It is an amazing card with excellent performance for its price.
The RAM: 8GB DDR3 (2 x 4GB Sticks)
Remember when I said the CPU was the weakest part of the build? Well, the RAM is a close second. 8GB of RAM is nothing to sneeze at, and although a few games like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare are pushing the boundaries a bit when it comes to RAM, the amount should satisfy almost every game's recommended requirements. DDR3 means your RAM will be running a very small amount slower than DDR4 and DDR5 versions of the same RAM stick, but no one should have any problems with the RAM this rig delivers. It also has the added bonus of it being two sticks rather than one, making the RAM a small (yet noticeable) amount faster than just one stick. Unfortunately, this means you have to buy a full two stick set (2 x 8GB) if you're looking to upgrade to 16GB, which is what I'm aiming to do after I buy an SSD.
The Storage: 1 TB HDD
I may have lied when I said the CPU was the weakest part of the PC. Some of you may be screaming, "1 TB of storage? That is huge!" But if you're buying this PC for gaming (most of you assuredly are), 1 TB of storage may not cut it. You will need to dole out your storage space accordingly, which will hurt gamers who want to keep many games installed. However, the great thing is that there are many spaces for both more HDDs and SSDs (I wholeheartedly recommend an SSD, at LEAST 250GB) which will increase your storage space tremendously.
The Review
While idling around the internet, your computer should be running fairly cool. I got a nice gentle breeze while watching youtube from my case fan. While gaming, the PC may start to get louder, and will most definitely begin to heat up. However, this rig can handle any gaming session, be it an hour, four hours, or twelve hours. The parts all work accordingly, the keyboard and mouse it comes with are fantastic, and the LEDs for both the keyboard and the PC case works fantastically well.
9/10 PC. Could probably make a better PC buying each part individually, but it would be with minor differences. An excellent choice for those, like me, who don't trust themselves with building a new PC. CyberpowerPC once again surprises the PC gaming community with the value of their prebuilts.

My dad bought this computer for me, it is so fast and it comes with a nice keyboard and mouse, even though I already had one. It runs games smoothly on max settings, and still does not lag. Except, I would rather pay an extra $20 for the AMD Radeon RX 480 8 GB instead of this current 4 GB. Overall, this is an amazing computer for its price.

Great Pre-Built Computer

I was looking for a good not super expensive gaming computer and I found this one. I did get it on sale for Black Friday which made it even better. I did have one small problem with my first one (manufacturing defect I assume which happens), but my second one is super great. The graphics card is good and the whole thing was very easy to set up and understand. I use it all the time now and love every minute of it. I am excited it runs fast now as my laptop is over 5 years old and is slowing down.

Just bought this PC, and all I can say is WOW! It is way better than I expected. It is extremely fast, has amazing graphics, and the case is absolutely beautiful. On top of that it is also VR ready. I would recommend this computer to anyone, even people who don't game. With 8 cores and 8 gigs of RAM it's hard to slow it down.

My experience with this PC has been amazing thus far. I do see myself making a few upgrades in the future, but that really goes for any gaming pc. My system is super, super fast. My last computer was ten years old and could not handle much multi-tasking at all, so to move on to something that can handle multiple programs at once without a performance hit is great. The Radeon 480 card offers beautiful graphics that fit my needs quite well. This has also been a great pc for imaging. So if anyone has the unique need like I did for something that can work both for games and for digital illustration, this system will do the trick for you. 5/5 I'm very happy with this purchase.

I Have had this computer for about a week and so for I'm loving it! The design is great and the specs are great. I would definitely recommend this computer for people switching from console. I had a laptop before this pc and obviously there were huge difference in performance. As of right now the main games i play are PlayerUnknown's Battleground and get about 50-60 fps (once the game is optimized i bet ill get more fps) and Overwatch which i can play on ultra with 95 fps. Dont expect this pc to run everything on ultra probably most games in high. I will definitely upgrade this pc in the future!

I bought this computer to use at work. Most people buy this as a gaming station but I'm using it to do really processor intensive tasks like working with video. This computer is so outrageously fast. My previous I7 would usually leave me waiting for the computer to catch up with me, this one I can't keep up with. The startup is almost instantaneous, and processing commands is quick as well. The only thing I did was replaced the memory when I got it. I decided to up it to 32 gig corsair memory. For what I payed, I couldn't get a comparable machine from HP or Dell and this machine has one other benefit over those...NO BLOATWARE! It's nice starting up the computer for the first time and not seeing a hundred useless programs I can't delete.

I'm an avid gaming, but only tended to stick to consoles for some reason. I decided to explore my capabilities and stumbled upon this beast. Now I only use my consoles for console exclusive games. PC Master Race!!!
Pros: Radeon RX-480 GPU, back-lit Keyboard and Mouse(They have a nice tactile feel), LED lit tower, cooling fans are quiet, upgrade-ability is a big plus( it'll last a long time).
Cons: I wish it had a core i-7( but the FX-8350 is amazing for the price), No CD/DVD drive, No SSD boot drive
All these can be added later though
Overall, for the price, this PC will let you emerge yourself into any virtual world you can get your hands on.

I have been looking around at a prefab gaming pc for a while. I personally didn't have the 1000+ dollars to build my own. after doing a lot of looking around and comparing the systems I opted for this one due to the 4GB of dedicated Ram on the Video card, and boy am I glad I did. it runs every game that I had already purchased super smooth. I was trying to play these games on an older laptop and couldn't play the game due to hardware shortfalls but this system runs it all. I am never below 60 FPS even when playing games like H1Z1. I would highly recommend all looking to get into PC gaming to start here. you wont be sorry

Great value for a gaming desktop

I purchased this desktop as a replacement for my 4 year old gaming laptop. I was originally planning to build a PC but after seeing the specs of this machine and looking up the price of parts, it made more sense to just buy this prebuilt desktop. The specs are great for the price and, as many other reviewers have said, there are open slots on the motherboard so there is the possibility of upgrading the RAM or adding more storage in the future. It is a great investment. No bloatware which makes setup a piece of cake. It can run Overwatch on ultra graphics at high fps. Overall really satisfied with my purchase!

After reading multiple reviews about cyberpower pcs. I was very skeptical at first to buy one. It seemed as if the reviews were mixed.
Here is the real shakedown. For the unboxing of the computer, I was very pleased. Everything was nice and tight, nothing lose or banging around.
The start up of the computer was flawless! Very easy setup and installation of software. Nothing overheating or bottlenecking. Can and does handle all of my games max settings with around 60 fps. Metro Last Light, Dues X, The Witcher 3, and various other games.
Overall I am extremely happy with my amazing gaming pc!
