Simply amazing!!! Play on Series X and Graphics are life like! I was amazed by how many different zombies there was I even got to see my former boss and gave him a piece of my mind. This is absolutely the game you must buy with the series X it is the most lifelike game I’ve ever played.

Great game! I’ve put easily 40+ hours into it and still coming back for more.

Great graphics and quality. it's a gorgeous and the storyline has been engaging enough to keep you interested.

Been waiting a long time for this one to come out. Been enjoying playing the game and love the series. The reason why I didn't give this more stars is because I was expecting to get the day one edition like described. Unfortunately it was just a standard edition not the day one edition so I took off stars for that. Best Buy really needs to update the description on this if they do not have anymore of the day one editions available. This is misleading information.

The 2nd wasnt as good as the first. I didnt like the short campaign. Repetatvie game play and the odd power scaling

Best Buy’s website specifically states and shows that this is the “Day One Edition” but instead, I received the normal version. I placed a second order thinking maybe it was just a simple warehouse mistake but sure enough, Best Buy sent me the normal version once again. Best Buy needs to get it together.

Dead Island 2 has been a visual delight. It’s been a while since I’ve had so much fun smashing and slashing zombies. Might have been as long as it was back when Dead Rising 2 came out. The detail in gore effects is remarkable. You can snipe legs and knee caps from afar or dance up close and get personal. This game has the player seeing holes form from gun shots or seeing layers of carnage from slashing weapons. The detail has been upped from all previous games; a new standard has been set.

Game is definitely fun, fulfilled all my needs for zombie slaughtering, one down fall is story is pretty short, maps are decent size weapons are great side quests are good as well

This game is amazing. It’s so much fun! There’s no lagging or anything. There are so many cool weapons and chances to upgrade weapons that aren’t as cool. I love it.

Waited 10 years for this game and let me tell you it is better than what I thought it would be after the development hell it was in. The game is far more linear than Dead Island 1 but I think it compliments the game well and makes it stand out in a sea of open world games nowadays. The gore in this game is also just next level. If you are wanting a fun zombie slasher game then pick it up!

The story for this game isnt earth shattering. HOWEVER, it is still a super fun and amazing looking zombie game. There is plenty of conent to keep you busy. The side quests are a bit more fun than the main story at times. There are tons of weapons and choices for perks to build out your character. If you are looking for a fun zombie game then this is definitely worth checking out.

It's a good game. Not great. The first dead island was great. This isn't even an Island. It's L.A. And that's not the reason it's not great. The game isn't open world. Just small sandbox areas that you have to load into each area separately. A lot of side missions only become available after you've left an area and progressed the story missions. The crusher zombies that are jacked up on steroids are overpowered. Feels more like an arcade game with zombies being randomly generated continuously even after you kill them. The mechanics of melee combat is not impressive. I'm giving it three stars out of respect for the original. I personally feel that dying light 2 is a far superior experience and way more captivating. They really could've done better and I think they know what they released and how lack luster the game is. Worth a play through, but I highly doubt most people would give it a second thought to play it again or anymore once they complete it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game! It’s very entertaining, and also somewhat challenging at times. Like all other zombie killing games it does get a bit redundant, but I thought the graphics were great and I enjoyed the story. While possibly a little bit gruesome at times I feel like it’s pretty lighthearted compared to other more intense post, apocalyptic zombie games.

It’s a good looking game. The game play is not any good. It’s not hard but the zombie are over powered. The ai zombie will walk around dance and come after you. The would run and move out the way on heavy attack. It’s addicting but can get you angry.

Very fun, especially with friends. Only downside is the game gets repetitive occasionally. Large variety of weapons, mods, collectibles. Gore is seriously next-gen. A no-brainer for any zombie game fan.

Pretty fun - captured essence of the original game but with a lot more weapons and area to play through.

The game took years to come out but when it finally did it was straight fire. The gameplay is awesome and there is sooo much gore.

The gameplay is fun. The maps are very visually appealing and large. The missions are fun. Would I recommend yes however is it worth $70. No although this was a fun play i would wait for at least a $20 decrease
