Don't be fooled by the small package! superb quality Hi-res audio and you will never turn it all the way up. Clean, Loud and just amazing when paired with 2 w7's in discrete 5.1 surround. Note**Setup with the Definitive APP all three speakers at the same time.

I have been seeking a sound bar with wireless surround speakers that produce high quality sound. What I found with the Sonos playbar was clarity of dialogue/lyrics, full/rich bass, and excellent surround. The system was quite easy to set up and balance/pair with the Sonos app.

The bar and subwoofer sound great and plenty loud in my downstairs den, which is a large room, about 600 sq ft. The bar is easy to mount and so inconspicuous that even my wife approves. Especially nice is the ability to add any 2 Play Fi speakers and get 5.1 sound. I wish it had an HDMI input, but neither does the Sonos bar. At the sale price point especially, this is a very hard package to beat.

I have four surround sound systems in the house. The sound bar is in my exercise room. It gives decent sound. But not as good as a real 5.1 or 7.1 system.

Admittedly this is my second one. I had my first for 18 mos and it went on the fritz. But I had the Geek Squad protection plan and BB replaced it. Just a great sound, and yes, more expensive than many 3.1 sound systems, but not as expensive as some. Easy set up.

Best sound for your buck! Clear sound for mids and highs, nice deep base.

I paired this with two w7's for surround and am very impressed with the quality. This is replacing Polk towers, center and sub and this setup definitely has a crisper more detailed audio experience. The surround is amazing. It lacks the power of the old system but I am overall very pleased with my purchase.

Bought this for my parents since they have a hard time with separate components. Got rid of the receiver, blu-ray, and DVR then went with this guy and a Harmony remote. I no longer get daily calls on how to use the "TV". Sounds good also.

If all you want to do is attach the soundbar to the TV, it is great. We bought additional wireless speakers. You have to use the definitive tech app on a tablet or computer to connect them. The app does not explain that you either set up as soundbar and speakers to use with the TV OR set up to listen to music through the app. The app does NOT allow both set ups, so to switch between TV or music, you must re-set up the system each time. I spoke to the def tech people directly, and they know this is a problem, but I was told there was no timeline for them to address it.

Easy set up, great looking, fantastic sound and small footprint make this a great purchase. Purchased for a gym so can't really review on any type of home theater set-up, but for music and general TV it sounds great.

I was looking and looking for a soundbar. I wanted it to look good with my curverd 4k tv but the curved ones made by the same manufacture sounded flat and were missing complete sections of audio. The speaker in the TV sounded better then the soundbars made by the manufacture. After much shopping research both online and instore using my phone to sample the sound I fell in love with this product. It looks great its profile allows it to blend into any tv to include curved TVs was a huge plus. I have my tv mounted above the fireplace on a dynamic mount so the sounder need to be mounted to the tv mount. I am happy with the purchase. The soundbar is great and sub is evenly matched. This system is also scalable to add surround speakers.

Definite sound enhancement for our 4KHD TV. Bass rocks.

My wife and I spent several weeks listening to different sound bars. We even went to a few different locations to listen and talk with reps. This one alway came out on top for clearity. I have a very hard time hearing soft talking during a movie or show. This sound bar lets you adjust the voice. Amazing! Plus the sub give you a lot of boom for those action movies or if you just want to upset your neighbors! Lol!

After reading reviews on this def tech sound bar, I was pretty confident that I was going to get great sound coming out of very low profile system. Ultimately, that's exactly what I got. This 3.1 channel sound bar offers plenty volume, great balance between music and dialogue when watching movies/television, and very good bass. Net/Net, while it may not offer the versatility of a full surround sound stereo setup, the studio micro is super easy to use, and everyone in my family loves the sound.

The sound this unit outputs changed my mind about soundbars. My only real issue with it is the lack of flexibility. It only allows for a hookup with an optical cable and has no HDMI option. While it is something you can get used to I would have liked an actual display telling me what my volume is etc instead of the light up series of dots. Otherwise a great addition to my setup.

Easy to set up the blue tooth and great sound can play my Itunes from my iphone great sound from my big screen tv also .Like the size of it also very low profile

Great sound bar which I bought on sale at great price . I just use the soundbar and woofer and didn't try to add speakers as it appears on reviews that can create some issues to work through

The soundbar is great but the setup needs work. I would recommend the item but make sure your wifi is strong enough to support the 5 GHZ signal needed.
