So far so good. Been using this laptop for a little over a week and so far I love it. Originally purchased for around $800 but it was a doorbuster later in the week for $600 and best buy credited my account for the difference. At that price, this was a good deal.

So far so good. Mainly using it for school and like how compact it is compared to my old laptop. Liking the touch screen feature and like how it can be used as a tablet.

I'm going to be using this for when I go back to school (I'm 32 and mom of 2) starting in January. So far its perfect and very lightweight. I have another Dell laptop that is bigger but wanted something that would be easier to take back and forth from school to home. Definitely made the correct choice and love the ease of use that it provides.

I was looking for something to replace my 5 year old Sony Ultrabook which finally moved on to Valhalla, and found this Dell to be a worthy replacement.
This laptop is plenty quick enough for almost anyone to use as a daily computer. It's near useless for playing games, but web browsing, photo editing, and work related activities, it handles the tasks thrown at it exceptionally well.
It comes with Windows 10 Home. This will be fine for most people, but I'd recommend upgrading to Windows 10 Pro if you have the means to. I work IT, so I went with that step of course.
There wasn't much in the way of bloatware to deal with. The Dell software is non-intrusive, and the included anti-virus is a few clicks to get rid of.
The screen quality is good. Not the best I've ever seen, but it gets the job done. The screen is bright, easy to read, and sharp. My only complaint is I wish the colors were a bit more vibrant, but I can definitely live with it.
The build quality is pretty solid. I regret admitting to the fact that I have dropped it several times, but it has held up pretty well. The metal construction gives it a solid feel when you're out and about.
Battery life is so-so. An extra hour would be nice, but I haven't run into any issues where it's died on me in a time of need.
Overall, I recommend this laptop. Best Buy lists the price with the included Office bundle, but if you order it in the store, you can request they drop that and save yourself an extra $50. If you need Office, or don't already have it however, the price isn't bad.
Something to keep in mind, if you plan on getting a dock for this laptop. It has USB-C, not Thunderbolt. Make sure that you are ordering the correct dock, as the Dell Thunderbolt dock will not work with this laptop.

I upgraded from a 17" Dell Inspiron w/7th gen core i3 w/Hard Drive to the Inspiron 7373 w/the 8th gen core i5 w/SSD. Unbelievable speed upgrade and the quality of this device is unreal. Powers on in seconds and everything loads immediately when Windows hello logs me in. The windows hello camera is a nice touch too. It has a very premium feel and design. The aluminium body feels great and is solid as a tank. There is no flex in the keyboard and the back lit keys are a dream to use. The display is beautiful too. Images are crisp and bright with great colors for what I need. It's not a 4K display or anything but, it is a great screen and gets very bright IMO. The only thing I don't like is the bloat apps that Dell installs on their devices. I wish at this price point that I had the option not to install bloatware apps that Dell wants pre-installed on their devices. Track pad is amazing too. The only "negative" would be that the ram is soldered on and cannot be upgraded so purchase w/the amount of ram you need/want out of the box... and there is no type-C thunberbolt port. The price point is unbelievable considering the performance and quality you are getting. I would expect to pay more for this kind of quality and performance. The screen has NO FLEX in it and you NEVER SEE SPOTS ON THE SCREEN WHEN YOU PRESS ON THE BACK OF THE SHELL, unlike other devices in this class.

I had a Dell 13 inch pc for work. When I retired and returned my work laptop, I needed a pc of my own. Was struggling with whether to purchase Aamsung or Lenovo or HP or Dell and also what size (13 v 15). Read all kinds of reviews by tech magazines as well as on the Best Buy website. While I was nervous about battery life, in all honesty, most of my work is done at a desk where I can be plugged in. I do find that, like my old work Dell, the battery life is not a full 8 hr workday. I love the size and weight of this unit. The touch screen is great. Color is vibrant. It handles all the software I need it to. I do think I will eventually purchase a hard drive for storage of photos and large files. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I don’t like the keyboards that have the extra 10 key pad on the side. I like the ‘feel’ of the keys on the Dell. The quality of the case seems sturdier than some of the other brand models that I looked at. In the end, I decided to ‘go with what you know’ and not let fear of some of the negative reviews disuade me from making this purchase. I’m happy got the Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 13 inch!!

The good:
-Very small and light. Perfect for a college desk
-More than enough processing for most programs like matlab
-touch screen is great when paired with a stylus
The bad:
-Dell will straight up lie to you, this laptop can be used with a Bamboo stylus. Don't let them lie to you
-Battery life is absolutely horrendous after a year. Probably lasts about an hour between charges.
-There's this weird zone right down the middle of the laptop where the touch sensors are very inaccurate. Makes it annoying to use for digital art

I purchase Dell's 2-in-1 computers for my field supervisors. It works great for remote projects. It helps with mobile use, for email, viewing construction prints, and looking up information on fly.
My only request is offering 4K display for a competitive price. It is not bad at all, but I think PDFs would be more readable.
This review reflects the i7 and i5 models, I have purchased both. Always get the SSD, todays performance standards pretty much requires it.

Very thin and light. Fast performance for most everyday tasks. Very nice screen and backlit keyboard. The auto orientation switch from laptop to tablet modes works as expected. It does run a little hotter than I would like especially considering the Solid State hard drive but this may have to do with the form factor and placement of the vents. The battery life is less than expected and there seems to be some issue with getting an accurate "remaining time" calculation from the taskbar icon. In the space of 5 minutes it can vary by + / - 1 hour which is not good if you are trying to figure out if you need to bring along a charger or not.

Seems to be a little heavy for the size and battery life isn't great but it has a decent price point paired with the basic functions you'd expect from any laptop/computer today.

It is a good overall product and dell is amazing at costumer service.
I did have to spend about 3 hours upon receiving the laptop uninstalling bloatware. Mcafee and a lot of unnecessary apps.
I installed webroot instead of mcafee because of its small footprint on the hardrive and cpu.
The face reader is pretty cool and I do enjoy that. I also like the screen and the fact that it is a touch screen
I don’t however like how hot it gets as thermals aren’t the best but work for small tasks like watching YouTube or something.
The battery life is really bad though, I get around 1-3 hours maybe. Pretty poor.
