Skeptical of Denon products due to never having owning one. Very impressed. Very easy to setup and use. Using old speakers and still sounds good.

The surround sound on my vintage speakers is phenomenal with this reciever..the only draw back is the 75 watt output. I wont have to be concerned about over driving my speakers..but I shouldnt have to turn the sound level to 65% to hear the tv!:)

The setup and installation took a while. No manual came with the Av Receiver. I downloaded one and that helped me to understand the setup. Bought through a chat. Next time I will go into the store.

Was going to upgrade my home system, had a older denon, so I patiently waited for the 2023 model to come out so when the 770h came out I waited till Black Friday sale. Bought, took home, hooked up and went through all the procedures which takes time and lots of work. After using it for several weeks I could not get it to come on with the TV, I had to manually turn the TV speakers to receiver 7 speaker system, and would not do it automatically. I'm sure not explaining this but believe me I've owned half dozen surround systems and know what I want. The operating system has changed in the 770h vs my old 1500h. After wrestling with receiver I finally gave up and took back. Customer assistance weather geek or denon has been severely degraded, I'm sure due to COVID. Even though my 1500h also gave me hiccups it works way better than the new denon models. It's sounds and work satisfactory.

Great sound a little learning curve to set up and use because of it's adaptability.

The Denon receiver is an excellent receiver, the installation and setup was great, I highly recommend this product.
