Bought, took home, hooked up and went through all the procedures which takes time and lots of work. After using it for several weeks I could not get it to come on with the TV, I had to manually turn the TV speakers to receiver 7 speaker system, and would not do it automatically. I'm sure not explaining this but believe me I've owned half dozen surround systems and know what I want. The operating system has changed in the 770h vs my old 1500h. After wrestling with receiver I finally gave up and took back. Customer assistance weather geek or denon has been severely degraded, I'm sure due to COVID. Even though my 1500h also gave me hiccups it works way better than the new denon models. It's sounds and work satisfactory.

This Denon is fantastic! I love that there is a great choice of settings and adjustments. I am completely happy with it!

Tried swapping cables and everything - i think something is wrong with the HDMI board and it’s a shame because I just got this a few weeks ago.

1. Check for firmware updates on all connected sources.
2. Reestablish HDMI communication by unplugging and plugging back in the HDMI cables.
