This fan/heater is fantastic. It easily heats my entire 14 x 30 entertainment room quickly and quietly. The heat level (temp) is adjustable, as is the fan speed. You can also adjust wide or focused airflow, and all of these functions are done with a remote. This is perfect.

The Dyson hot cold is the best heater I had found it is small and heats up the whole room .

My wife has wanted one of these units forever... I finally broke down, and decided to get one for her for Christmas. I found it on sale at Best Buy on a one-day sale...ran over there and got the last one in the store. Got big kudos Christmas morning... The product, like all Dyson products is exceptional, High quality, superb 'genius' engineering and design, though a little on the pricey side-BUT well worth it. HIGHLY recommended.

This is a great personal heater. I use mine to warm up colder areas of the house. Also great to keep warm when changing clothes. The heater allows me to lower the thermostat and remain comfortable. It can be set up to 99 degrees. As another reviewer mentioned, #5 + setting can start to muffle the volume of TV, but it's tolerable. Haven't needed the cooling part of this yet, but look forward to enjoying it this summer.

My AM04 looked cool but was inadequate heating my cathedral ceiling condo LR so it went to the bedroom, the AM09 now in the LR is far better at heating a large room 16 x 25 with high ceilings. However a bit pricey like most Dyson cutting edge stuff, so I wait for sales.

My daughter came home with this weird fan with no fan!!! It looks nice but - no fan? Surprise, it really does work. Put it in a nook that has windows all around and is always a little chilly. It brings it right up to comfortable. You don't notice any difference in a larger room unless you point it at your chair. It's a good product.

I have always been a huge Dyson fan (no pun intended). When the winter came (Texas) I wanted something that would put out heat but could be a cooling fan as well. Though the fan is very pricey, I would recommend it to anyone who could obviously afford it. I have multiple Dyson products ranging from 5 years of use to a few months (Dyson upright vacuum and v8 stick vacuum). Dyson makes high quality products and to me, you get what you pay for. When I don't want to run the furnace, I just turn the fan on heat and have it rotate so it pushes the hot air throughout the room. It's currently set up in my living room and does an awesome job heating the living room and connected dining room. With the fan being near my thermostat, the thermostat recognizes the temperature in the room, and won't kick the furnace on, which will make the rest of the house a little on the cool side. When I just want to push some of the cool air around in the main part of the house, I turn the cool on and does an awesome job circulating the air around. Over all, awesome product that does what it is supposed to do.

This is no ordinary fan.... will easily warm up or cool any average sized room and, do it quickly. Very quiet too... simple to use. Well made. Quality item that is well worth the extra dollars.

Big master bedroom. This is a great way to augment the central HVAC. Owned previous models. This one is an improvement. Dyson is a brand and product worth the money.

The Dyson AM 09 is at my side, keeping me comfortable as I write. Its predecessor (AM 05) has moved to service in the garage where it has more than replaced another Brand which had reached end of life. Set up and operation and maintenance are simple. It does what you program it to do and it does this relentlessly. I am very pleased and have no regrets.

Although Dyson products run a bit on the pricey side, this heater has been great! It is quieter and much more efficient than all other heaters, and maintains a very even temperature when compared with other heaters.

Used this Dyson Heater and surprised how fast the room get hot. The digital remote control is excellent and features are great. This technology is amazing through quiet pricey. Happy for the purchased.

I picked up this Dyson fan + heater on sale and it works great. Bought it in early May and it was handy to have on a few of the cool mornings. It was easy to use and threw off nice heat. The cooling fan works great and I don't need to turn it up very high. It has two different settings for the fan. A wide pattern and narrow. With the wide pattern it's not easy to feel the air movement because it is so dispersed. It can also be set to osollate. The controls are all on the remote, but if you play around with the one button on the front you can make some adjustments there. Nice but pricey fan.

Pros: Even, consistent heat. Able to heat room quickly, depending on the mode selected. The diffuse mode seems to heat more evenly, but with a time trade-off. The narrow mode seems to achieve desired temperature more quickly, but for more localized space. Aesthetically, the Am09 is in a different class from other space heaters. Cons: Price. While I have confidence in Dyson technology, it is unclear how much better this space heater performs compared to other, cheaper models. I suspect that the Am09 will require less energy than other space heaters--but, admittedly, this is more confidence in the Dyson name/engineering than any evidence I could offer at this time. Overall, a good-to-excellent purchase if you are willing to accept the initial cost.

Both the fan and heater work very well. Pushes out a lot of air for its size. Love the thermostat and being able to set a constant temperature. Would have given it 5 stars if it were not for the price although I am considering buying another one. It works that well.

purchased this fan for my elderly mother who like to keep it warm at home. My mother loves it and cant say enough on how well it works. she has had many other types and this dyson fan outshines them all. the fan is quite and is not hot to the touch and the auto shut off gives piece of mind in the event it falls over.

Overpriced even at $249.99 but works well as both heater and fan!! Rotating unit is great but can be kept stationary!! Upper unit can be tilted forward and backward also. Remote works well and neat feature that it is magnetic!! Has thermostat and 10 fan settings on heat mode and 10 fan settings in cool mode. Hopefully it is dependable and last for years!

Works great as a heater for a small room and gets warm fast. Unit runs on a timer and has different fan speeds and temperature levels. You can choose it to rotate or not. It is a quiet unit unless you have the fan on high then you do here it. The fan is also nice, love that there is no blades to keep clean from any dust. Only downside is that if you lose the remote you cannot set the temperature set the fan level or set it to move. All you can do is just turn the unit on and that's it without the remote. I would suggest buying a back up remote if you tend to lose things easily. Otherwise this is a great product I highly recommend it.
