I purchased this vacuum to replace a broom. I used to hate sweeping up and always put it off. Now with this vacuum and the display showing how much stuff you picked up makes cleaning into a game. I Now vacuum my apartment at least once a day. The light that projects from the fluffy head really shows how much dirt is on the floor. I cannot recommend this vacuum enough. I never use boost mode, just leave it on auto and I have never had an issue.

WATCH OUT GUYS, If you buy this Dyson for your wife, you may end up using it more than her. The hardwood floor attachment is so cool. The light illuminates the dust, making it easy to see what you are picking up (especially if you have pets), and the Gen5 is so powerful. It makes vacuuming an adventure. I vacuum now just to use this attachment. If you get one, just remember I warned you.

Tired of vacuums breaking every year, we decided to buy a Dyson. Compared to the other vacuums we've owned this is certainly a nice vacuum. Our previous vacuum was a shark and we thought it would last a long time but it only lasted 2 years. The best thing we like about the Dyson is the suction power and we can see the dust on our hardwood floors also we use it on the bedrooms and it picked up old carpet Refresher from years of us using it on our carpet so we really love this vacuum

I love my new Dyson vacuum! I love the when I use the attachment for hard floors which projects the green light and exposes all dust and particular that cannot be seen with the naked eye. I feel satisfied knowing that my floors are spotless after I’m done vacuuming! You can never go wrong with Dyson. This is my second Dyson purchase and my first Dyson is still going strong as well.

Positives are good suction and quieter. Too heavy doesn’t seem to clean as well as the 15 I replaced.

Very good vacuum. We love ours. It is easy to use and it is very powerful. I love how it automatically detects the amount of dirt and changes the suction strength on its own. The wall accessory tray could be a little larger as things get very crowded

Fantastic cordless vacuum - the green led light is a gift and a curse. I say that because if you're just planning on cleaning one area of your house, the LED shows that your entire house is extremely dirty and it forces you to clean everything else.

I loved the look and features of the design but not so much the cheap parts. I have owned 3 dysons before this one and i understand they want to make it light weight but the wheels and ball in the middle are so thin. I tried to roll it on my carpet and while it did pick alot up it was heavy and hard to push around. I had a hard time pulling the trash bin out with the button pushed it took lots of strength to pull it apart too. The battery did not last an hour for me. I liked the green laser light for hardfloors. I feel it wasnt worth the price as i felt it was going to fall apart.

Works amazing. I can vacuum a 2000 sf house on one charge and it bucks up everything on the first try. It’s so easy to change out the attachments and to empty. Great product!

This works as you would expect a Dyson to. It is powerful and has great battery life. A little heavier than earlier models but not enough to be a problem. Having a crevice attachment built right in is a huge win. I have had a Dyson since they came out and this is another clear reason why they are the best and setting the bar for other manufacturers.

Previously had a lower end dyson and this doesnt even compare. The vacuum is 100x better and lgrabs everything whether carpet or hardwood. Would recommend to everyone! Battery life is also amazing!

Great Buy for the price. This vacuum is so powerful, compared to the other vacuum I had. Love the fact that it can handle the small jobs just as good as the big jobs. Being that it is cordless is great, I can use it in my car or truck and in the house. Lightweight makes it so easy to use up and down the stiars. It stays charged for a good 60-90 minutes depending on the job size.

It is the best vacuum i have used in my life. Not only are all the attachments useful but they excel at what they do. The green light floor vacuum attachemnt is astonishingly good at showing debri, it’s especially fun in the dark. The vacuum is incredibly powerful at cleaning carpets as it has powerful suction. Overall if taken care of this vacuum is worth the money and will serve you well.

This is my second Dyson vacuum. This one is a bit more on the heavier side, but has more capacity and battery life. I’m not sure if the illumination to see the dirt is good or disturbing (hahaa), but it definitely works as intended. Overall a really excellent product.

I have had the Dyson V8 for almost 4 years.  I have not had any problems with it besides having to purchase a new motor head which took a while to receive.  I have almost a 3000 square-foot home all with hard tile floors.  We have five dogs as well. And five kids.  Having clean floors is a serious must for me!  I have to admit, I have a bit of a floor cleaning obsession!!  I have bought tons of vacuum cleaners.  I re-searched between the outsize and a V 11.  I really love this vacuum cleaner and feel the floors are much cleaner after using it.  It is very expensive and I won’t let my kids touch it.  The soft motor head with the laser. I have to make sure there’s nothing wet on the floors before I vacuum because I don’t want to ruin the soft roller.  It is really a trip to see how much dust and hairs on the floor with the laser.  It’s also interesting to see the number count once I’m done.  Hoping this one lasts a long time as it was quite the investment.  I also had purchased the Sebo cannister vaccum and  was really thinking that was going to do the trick for having a really good deep clean but I became quickly frustrated with having to have it plugged in!!  I didn’t really realize how much of a convenience it is to have a cordless vacuum cleaner.  One downside is the amount of time it takes to charge, but you can get a lot of work done with it on auto with it on boost it’s not much of a run time at all.

Very nice, excellent performance Battery life is about 75 minutes The vacuum cleaner have unique ways of taking out dust and dirt. In fact, I so much like it.

It has good suction. It is light weight. I like the light on it. I don’t like that it doesn’t change really from carpet to hardwood floor. It ducks the rugs up

I tried other vacuums before purchasing this one. I ended up returning two vacuums because they just don't have the quality of a Dyson. I love it!

I recently purchased this vacuum to replace my old Dyson, which was ten years old. So far, I've encountered no issues. Noticeable improvement over my old is the suction power, vacuuming time and deferent mode withe better quality. Easy assembly setup. I believe the price is fair considering its performance. I would definitely recommend it.
