    As a kid I loved the movie E.T.. As an adult re-watching it, I admit I was bored and there's a lot that does not actually work for me in the movie. It is the best acting of Drew Barrymore's career though. I think this movie is great for younger kids with a bit of a daring science fiction side in tastes, but doesn't hold up as much fun in my opinion as Goonies does. I bought this version thinking it was reverted back to the original without the CGI enhancements. For the most part it seemed to be, but the agents did not have their guns instead walkie talkies and I think that was a change still.

    This is an all time classic. I loved this movie every since it came out when I was little and it's still great. The story tugs at your heart, especially when E.T. phones home. This is a movie your whole family will enjoy.
