Washer worked great for 9 months then broke in the middle of the wash and stopped draining and spinning. Really disappointed in quality and performance.

BEWARE if chemically sensitive - strong fragrance
JoshuaK Posted
It seems like this machine offers great functionality BUT, as soon as it was installed in our house we noticed a strong perfume-smell coming from the machine. After researching on the web we found out that Electrolux adds an artificial fragrance to their door gaskets to cover up potentially moldy smells. This is NOT DISCLOSED on Electrolux or Best Buy websites!! My wife is chemically sensitive and immediately got headaches from the smell. We wish we could keep the machine as it seems to work well otherwise, but we had to return it.

Nice front load machine

I like this washer a lot and it cleans well. I like the 15 min short cycle, which comes in handy sometimes. This washer is a bit louder than others I have had, but it doesn’t bother me,

Brand New Washer Broken - Electrolux will not help
JeffG Posted
Bought this based on the positive reviews and the strong brand reputation. It worked for a month then stopped. Electrolux warranty is garbage. They sent a tech to diagnose the issue - said it needs a new control board. Its brand new, but ok. Took a week to get the part, but they ordered the wrong one. No ETA on when they can locate the correct part or if this will even fix the issue. Now I'm without a functioning washer for 2+ weeks. Electrolux does not stand behind the product. Have asked them to replace with a new unit but they will not per their policy - they must replace a part at a time until the technician says it is unrepairable. No consideration for the inconvenience this causes a family and the time lost in their inefficient process. AVOID.

Nothing special, just an overpriced washer/dryer
AlexanderZ Posted
It's fine. We upgraded from a roughly 10 year old washer/dryer to this set even though our old set was still working. I see no difference between my old, boring top-load washer and this new one besides this one looking nicer. The old dryer couldn't dry large loads very well and we'd always have to put something like our queen-sized comforter in 3 times for the max time each (using low heat, we never go higher) before it would be fully dry. This new dryer is just... the same. Maybe I expected too much, but there's really no difference between this set and my old one even though my old one was the most barebones model at the time. Considering that set was like $1000 together, this is overpriced.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how frustrating it can be when a new appliance doesn’t live up to expectations especially after upgrading from a set you've had for years. While we're glad to hear your old set served you well, it's disappointing to learn the new dryer isn't performing as you'd hoped, especially with larger or bulkier items like your comforter. Drying performance can depend on a few factors such as load size, fabric type, and venting efficiency. We'd love the chance to troubleshoot or offer tips that might improve your experience, please feel free contact us via phone at 1-(877) 435-3287, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m. EST, and we’ll be happy to assist.
