I love that there's no wire to plug in. It transferres easily from one car to another. The range is awesome too!

Great radar detector. Small, easy to install and it works!!! Used it on a long trip and it picked up every highway patrol that had its radar on. On city mode it doesn't go off with every WalMart, etc. --- really nice. Ordered the cord just in case a backup battery isn't available.

We are very happy with our Solo 3 radar detector. It functions properly, rejecting spurious signals and concentrating on the signals that it needs to. We like the cord-less operation, and are currently using Nickel-Metal-Hydride rechargeable batteres that last quite a while.

Works great long range would buy another one if it was still available

As far as I know this is the most expensive and most technologically advanced wireless radar detector for retail purchase. That being said if you must have a wireless portable radar detector then this is the best one to get at the retail level. I am not satisfied with its detection abilities however and feel that if you really want to get good radar detection a wired unit is the only option for purchase at the retail level.

It does not work as good as my 9500i but expected some shortfall because of being battery operated. Like the convenience though. Which it had bluetooth so could use with Escort Live app without a chord.

This is my first cordless Radar Detector and it is very good. If I were to offer any suggestions for improvements it would be better battery life without a reduction in performance, and maybe the inclusion of rechargeable batteries.

Good distance which means a good heads up. Volume is loud so even when playing music you can hear it. It is wireless but you can buy a wiring kit for it which is simple to install and it comes with a notification little remote that blinks bright when the radar is going off and has a mute button. I placed it on my steering column for easy access.

This is my 3rd product from Cincinnati Microwave. They make great detectors. Had my first in the 80's. It was a big hunk of metal, but it worked. I love this one. No cords. A battery. Very portable too.

This radar detector works very well, love the fact that it is cordless and the batter life lasts a long, long time. Really great feature is if the car is not moving for 20 min. the unit turns off to save battery life.

Awesome how its wireless. Even though I hard wired it, it is nice to take out of my car and with me in the work van. Saved my butt a few times. Definitely recommend great for price range. Used to have the solo s2 and this one is pretty much the same but has a sleek new black casing.

This detector does exactly what it is supposed to do. It has saved me a number of times since I have owned it. Definitely worth the money!

This radar is great! Set it on Auto detection and you are good to go. I liked it so well I brought another one for my second car.

I love having no cables for a clean look and I keep it clipped to my sun visor. Works prefectly and has already prevented a couple potential tickets.

This was a very good device. Easy to set up, review settings and attach. Detector had very few false alerts and didn't miss any.

This radar detector is very convenient since it is wireless. The only cons I would mention is that battery life is not as long as advertised.

Compact, sleek, powerful, wireless. I had a valentine 1 which is a great unit but too big, and that wire. Ugh. Perfect unit for me.
