Purchased this for my sister for Christmas; considered the less expensive one, but this one has the heart rate feature, which seems like a feature close to the whole point in wearing an activity monitor. Wish it had been available in more colors. Offered the perfect encouragement to get her to get out & exercise.

The Alta HR has been an excellent addition to my fitness regimen. Keeping everything organized on the Fitbit app is easy and simple. The Alta syncs with your phone via Bluetooth, and doesn’t require charging but once a week. I use mine daily to keep track of my step count and push myself in other categories too.

I have a black one, so got smaller one for my wife. Love the color. She ll love the fitness information it provides

I bought this for a family relative and it's a good exercise companion. Not an apple watch so don't expect a lot.

So if this were based purely on my wife's (the user's) views, there would be another half or full star. But as the purchaser who has seen three different versions of Fitbits die out after less than nine months each, I'm wondering if this have been adequately named. Maybe "not-fully-fit-for-service-bit"! ?!? But at least the design keeps evolving. So maybe this time they have got it right...

This is my second Fitbit Alta HR in two years. The first one was used constantly and the face was scratched and looking bad. Still works great, just wanted a new one. Love the reminder to get up and walk when I've been sitting at the computer to long. Best thing for me to keep track of my daily goals.

Purchased this after reading several reviews. I'm new to getting fit and love that it is so easy to set up, use and go. Loved the heart rate part because I also wanted to track my anxiety and how my body responds. Love that with a couple of tapsbi have the information. Downside is the battery drains within 3 days.

This was the perfect gift for my wife! My wife is very active and is trying to lose a few pounds. This was a great motivation for her to be even more active and walk even more! The device is really accurate and handy and has been reliable so far. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that works out.

This watch will work for most needs. The size is not very obtrustive yet provides the necessary data you need.

I have enjoyed my fitbit from the very first dsy. It is trouble free and very easy to set up and use. Initially I was just using it for only tracking steps but now have taken advantage of its many other functions. I even use it to wake me in the morning. I highly recommend ot.

I like the sleek look of this fitbit. The band is a little tough since it is rubber, bothers me sometimes. I have a very small wrist and it slides down my arm a bit which can be uncomfortable. This is my 2nd Fitbit. The first lasted for several years before the band gave out.

I purchased this Fitbit Alta as a Christmas gift. Have not given it yet but the recipient is sure to love it!

Like this Alta HR better than previous model. Seems to track better. Lost old one so replaced and upgraded.

My wife loves this Fitbit. She likes the size and that it gives the heart rate.

My fitbit does just what I wanted. Mostly use it to count steps and encourage walking. Paired it with LoseIt diet monitoring program so the calorie benefit is auto calculated. Had the pocket model and promptly lost it probably taking keys out of my pocket. I can wear the wrist model on my non-clock hand.

Easy to setup. Very informative. It can track a lot of thing and very accurate.
