This is a great addition to the workout routine. I like that I don't have to charge it as often. It is stylish/elegant and goes great with other silver or rose gold bangles. The notifications are sometimes delayed. The steps are not specific. They only say (3.0K) for example if you have 3,216 steps. Good deal for what you pay for.

It is comfortable. I wear it 24 hrs a day since I want to track my sleep patterns as well. I thought I would not like wearing it while sleeping but it is very comfortable as I forget I have it on Wear it during hot yoga and there have not been any issues with moisture.

Very satisfied with the Fitbit. It is sometimes a little generous with the step count but overall it does everything it advertises. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to monitor your daily activity and get an extra push to remember to move throughout the day.

I loved the small footprint, but the first one only would charge once. The same thing with the second one. Took the band off to see if that was the problem, but it was not Was pretty much inline with the heart rate as I had tested it against my Polar chest strap.

Bought this as a present for my mom's 80th birthday. Her thank you was "Thank you for dragging me (kicking and screaming) in to the 21 century. Easy to set up, easy to use. I get phones calls every week from her telling me something new her Fitbit does.

I like that the Alta is thin and doesn't look big on my wrist. I love the feature of buzzing when I have a text and showing the message. I also linked to my calendar so I get notice of my plans. The face shows the time and updates on steps, heart rate, etc.

Purchased for my daughter as a gift. She loves it. Helps her maintain her fitness and sleep goals. She likes that it notifies her when she receives an email. She wanted something petite that would look professional. She couldn’t be happier with this product.

I use this primarily as a watch and a sleep tracker, although I will say the heart rate monitoring seems quite accurate. Nicely configurable. Silent alarms are handy, lots of different styles and options for the watch face (I will admit I chose this over other brands due to the customizability here). I've gone through six bands in less than a year of ownership - the latching mechanism that attaches the band to the device is made of brittle plastic and snaps in half anytime the wind shifts. Thus far I've had the best luck with cheap Chinese knockoff bands; the genuine Fitbit ones last me <2 weeks, whereas the knockoffs last a couple months. The device occasionally likes to get stuck with the vibration on, and won't stop until it runs out of battery or I do a hard reset. Otherwise I've had no issues, although given the price point I would expect better.

My Charge HR died the end of February. I replaced it with an Alta HR. I love it. Takes less time to sync and has a better recharging connector. Almost nearly perfect. Final problem to overcome: Ability to see the face in the sunlight - Indirect or otherwise.

Love the way my Fitbit tracks my steps, and my sleep.

I had a Fitbit Zip for 3 years and loved it. However after undergoing open heart surgery I needed tracker that displayed my heart rate. My new Fitbit Alta tracks all my physical activity as well as my heart rate. I love it but wish it was waterproof.

It is great for someone who is wanting their first FitBit. Very simple setup as well.

Gave this to my mom as a gift as she's trying to be more active and was very interested in the sleep quality results daily. She really loved the size as it's not bulky and easy to wear. Plus, it has an actual clasp which keeps from falling of during activity.

I bought this product as a gift to my wife. Initially I thought this would just help her to know the health facts, but it made her to keep track on her fitness. Now she is walking everyday 8k steps, which she never done before. So my review for this product is A+++.

Easy to set up and provides all the features I need to get information useful for staying fit. I think the sleep status option is something that is especially helpful for analyzing sleep quality-an often overlooked aspect of health and weight loss.

I love being able to track my steps. It makes me more aware of how much I'm moving.

This tracker does everything I want it to, even motivates me to move. I love it that I can change the band and there are many selections. The display lays flatter than my last Fitbit, making it more comfortable. I have demonstrated it to a friend and I sold her on it.

I owned one before and loved it. I overcharged the battery and had to get a new one.

but from what I'm told, it was a huge upgrade over the jawbone up3 that it replaced
