My wife wanted this Fitbit to upgrade from an older model. She is with patients throughout the day and wanted a small device and this worked for her.

This Fitbit works well and counts every one of my steps. It is very high quality.

After using a Jawbone tracker for over three years and loving the easy to use data, the Fitbit Alta HR doesn't quite measure up. I was hoping for better battery life, but finding Fitbit falls short of the advertised 7-day charge. The Fitbit Alta band design is good--stays in place, easy on and off, convenient time display (these features are better than the Jawbone). I am hopeful that the NEXT generation of exercise tracker will get everything right--maybe the Apple watch will be the ultimate device if/when they incorporate more health tracking. In the meantime, Fitbit Alta, with its shortcomings, does an okay job.

Bought for college attending daughter who is vey fitness conscious. She is very happy with features and appearance.

Bought as a gift for family member and it works great to track daily activity, exercise, and sleep patterns.

Bought for mother's gift. Good for someone who doesn't need too many features. Does what is intended which is track your activity day to day. Battery lasts a long time.

It's exactly what I was looking for. Small enough to wear everyday even if you're dressed for an evening on the town.

Bought this for my wife. It has the more manageable wrist clasp, and is a perfect size for her. Took a short time to hit the screen just right, but totally used to it now.

Looks more like a watch than for but when you change out bands. Bands are easy to change. Holds a charge for days.

My wife really wanted an Apple Watch but also wanted to monitor sleep habits. Fitbits are just better for sleep recognition and fitness tracking. She loves it.

I love that this is thinner and has the heart rate tracker and the wrist band is great! Would like this version to track the stairs which is only reason giving 4 stars.

Overall I am pleased. It reminds me 10 minutes before the hour if I have not walked 250 steps. Very nice feature. This is a step counter, not a mileage counter and you MUST swing your arm for it to count the steps. So, it actually becomes a little more aerobic. I am still having difficulty with receiving text or telephone info on the phone and it does not always show the time when I bring the screen to the viewing angle. Having stated all that, I WOULD buy and recommend the product.

I got this for my girlfriend who had the regular Alta and she wanted one with a heart rate monitor and she loves it

My wife loves this watch! She uses it to track her sleep and while she exercises. Not bulky like it's competitors.
