I like this Bluetooth scale over the original Wi-Fi based Aria scale. Easier setup. No issues. The other model sometimes had a problem connecting through Wi-Fi and this one is MUCH CHEAPER as well.

Got this to replace an old analog scale that allowed one to gain or lose 10 lbs in seconds. I decided on this particular scale to easily coordinate with my Fitbit. Instructions for set up were clear and took less time than expected. Numbers easy to read even without my glasses. Weight matches doctors’ offices scales and updates easily to the Fitbit app.

    Gizmo caca

It's really accurate; I tested it with some dumbbells abd it was spot on. The SYNCING to your phone is horrible and frustrating. I routinely go into app settings, force stop, and clear cache before I even get on the thing. I just stepped on it and it kept feeding my phone my weight from the last time I stepped on it which was 2 months ago and twelve pounds heavier. It took me about 15 times of climbing on and off the scale to figure out how to make this thing take my weight at all without entering it manually. I pressed the plus symbol in the upper right corner and for some reason it added my weight automatically and CORRECTLY. This fix (or bug!) my correct itself in the future, but for now it's a scale still in beta. It does not work as advertised or as it was intended. It is supposed to be an automatic and seamless piece of hardware, but it's just a gizmo.

It works exactly as described! It is sleek and looks great in my bathroom. It's convienient for weight tracking. It does the bare minimum though, just weight. So do not purchase if you are looking for something more high tech (if you are looking to calculate muscle density, hydration, fat %, etc.).

Let's start by saying it works. I like that it syncs with the Fitbit app and records every time for me. On the down side you have to reboot your phone before each weigh in as it will only record once otherwise. So basically if you don't reboot you are back to manually recording the data. If I had known this before I probably would have bought the newer model. For the price this was a much better deal if a bit more labor intensive. After finding this issue I did some research and it has been an issue from the very beginning. It seems they can't or won't fix it. The scale looks nice and is light weight. If you have the money invest in the newer model as it seems to not have this issue.

Replaced another Aria scale that I had for years. Since this uses Blue Tooth rather than Network you have to have your phone nearby and remember to save your readings. I don't find that much of a problem in that I usually have my phone with me and it was significantly cheaper.

Easy to use and much easier to setup than the old Fitbit scales. Unfortunately only weighs now. I miss the body fat % element to the old scale. If you want a basic scale with easy setup and you already use Fitbit then this is a good option.

For the longest I had been wanting a new scale. Past scales I got were analog and constantly needed to be recalibrated. I chose the Fitbit scale because it automatically connects to my Fitbit app and Fitbit Versa 3 allowing me to track my weight process and get down time my goal weight. I don't know why so many reviews made it seem like rocket science to set up... maybe they upgraded the firmware or something, but it was easier to set this up than it was to set up the Fitbit itself. Literally just opened the app, hit the add the device button and I stood on the scale and it worked. Definitely easier to set up than my last scale. Took 30 seconds from unboxing. I was skeptical, but it worked. Weight was on par with my other scale. Looks good. No complaints as of yet... unlike my Fitbit.

Provides accurate weight to FitBit app on phone. Difficult to set up initially, but works great once configured. Google/FitBit needs to update the instructions.

I actually returned this product because it doesn't give you your body fat percentage. I am training for a fitness competition and I need to see that information. I am actually going to buy the Aria 2 I am just waiting for more to come in stock. If you aren't worried about your body fact (BMI) than this is a cool purchase. I had no problems setting it up.

This scale was easy to set up and syncs directly to my Fitbit app. The screen is very easy to read. I couldn't find any fault so far. The perfect way to keep track of your weight in the Fitbit App. It's also very beautiful and looks great in my bathroom - Love it. Awesome scale and easier to use.

I wanted a scale that would automatically register my weight with Fitbit, so I gave this a shot. I have to give it a mixed review. On one hand it can be twitchy trying to get the weight to log, it works but I still haven't figured out the sequence to make it foolproof, so sometimes it takes some fidgeting to get it to work, but it does work. On the other hand, it seems to give accurate and repeatable weights. Just a quick pointer, step on and off it to force a calibration then when the display reads all 0's get your weight.

I really like the Bluetooth feature and not having to connect to WiFi. This makes it portable and anyone can use it. Easy to read. It doesn't always sync with the fitbit though.

I went into my local Best Buy just looking for a digital scale, nothing fancy, didn't need anything "smart." However they only had two scales in stock. This one from FitBit, and another one that was far more expensive from Garmin. So I asked the guy at the store if I *needed* a FitBit to use this scale. The answer is no. You can use it as a standalone scale or with the FitBit app, which is free. I thought that was pretty cool, that I could track my weight loss (or more recently weight gain) on the app just by having the app open when I step on the scale. It's actually why I eventually did buy a FitBit. I think if you don't need the app integration you can probably just find a digital scale elsewhere for cheaper, but if you're looking to get the bigger picture of where your weight is heading, for $50, you can't go wrong with this one.

My fit bit aria, bit the dust. This one is not as good as the aria because the aria communicated with the computer. This one only communicates with the smart app. I still use a desktop, so I am left out of the going trend. It is ok. One advantage with this one over the aria, is with the aria one had to search for the proper destination i.e. my name, her name. All in all, the pricing was good. Very good. Thanks Best Buy. I will keep it because it reads one's weight very well.

I absolutely love this scale. It syncs directly to my Fitbit app on my phone so there is no entering manually anymore. The only thing I’m not a fan of is that it’s automatically set to weigh you in stones. It comes up like a normal weight on the app but on the scale what it displays means nothing to me. I’m sure there is a way to change it I just haven’t figured it out yet. Overall I’d highly recommend this scale if you have a Fitbit.
