I love my fitbit HR. It takes care of everything I need in one device and I love being able to check my progress on my phone app. The black color is great but I just wish it was a little smaller in terms of width. Great device if you want to keep track of steps, heart rate and calories in and out.

It's a great way to keep track of your steps, calories that you've burned, sleep, and flights of stairs you've climbed. You have to make sure you've set up your profile correctly so that it can count your calories via your activity (varies with your weight). The only issue I've experienced is a sync issue where my phone app is unable to connect to the device via bluetooth to update daily stats; but rebooting the FitBit always resolves the issue. I don't even use the active mode anymore, because it always detects when I do cardio or take the steps. The only thing that would make it better is if it could detect calories burnt while lifting weights.

Overall I love my Fitbit. All the features are what I was looking for. Favorite is the step tracking and calorie counter. Terrific motivator if trying to stay fit. My only issue is with the wrist band - honestly is a hassle to get on and off. Otherwise does it all.

My wife and I both got one of these. The tracker works great. Really like the ability to set up friends and see their activity as well. It creates good competition and pushes me to do more than I otherwise would. I would definitely recommend if you are thinking about getting an activity tracker.

I had a fitbit charge which quit working. I bought this for the heart rate component. While the HR is not the most accurate it seems to be directionally correct. I use it most for the steps and sleep analysis.

So far so good. i wish the battery lasted even longer. Some days it doesn't seem all that accurate depending on the exercise. Those with a lot of arm movements seem to rack up higher that usual step counts.

The Fitbit HR gives me immediate feedback fory workout or just walking around. It tells me my resting heart rate as well what my heart rate is during my work out. The one thing i would improve is the battery strength. I have to remember to charge it twice per week.

We purchased this item on Black Friday. My wife absolutely loves it! She loves the fact that she can engage in challenges with her friends. It makes meeting your goals competitive and keeps you adicted to the fitness. Great product for those who want to stick to their New Years resolution.

I chose to go for the red/tangerine color hoping it wouldn't turn black after daily wear. I clean my fitbit consistently and yet the black still formed around the wristband. So that is the only downfall other than that I love the perks of having the HR Fitbit.

So far so good> I really like it but wish that it could detect when im exercising & what I'm doing by itself. Having a hard time remembering to double click it to start tracking. Love all the activities & exercises listed but stationary bike is not among them.

This is a handy little device for the fitness minded. It is easy to read, and comfortable. The process to link it to your device is a bit silly, as it tells you to go to their website to install, just to have the website tell you to download the app. Not a deal breaker, just a little FYI.

Good step tracker. Activity tracking is good for step based activities. Works ok for stuff like ice hockey as well. Doesn't get in the way and is user friendly. Screening scratches easily so use scotch tape. Screens seem to be a common issue among trackers.

I tried a different brand which was not comfortable to wear so I went with the charge hr. Good investment. the app stores data which keeps you on track and motivated to keep going. Being new to using an activity tracker, fitbit has made it an easy learning curve.

Both this for the sole reason of inspiring my mother to continue on her fitness journey. The fun we have with the competition features is worth it to keep her motivated. Functions are easy to use and understand only complaint is the face is easy to scratch.

The fit bit is pretty simple overall and can be worn right out of the box. The app and online features are nice to keep track of your progress. Also, nice to see how many steps your buddies are walking, keeps you motivated. Overall, good product for the price.

I wanted to start running again and was looking for something that had a wrist based heart monitor, GPS and the ability to do interval training. After reviewing many different products on line, I ended up buying the Fitbit Surge. When I got it home, I found out it did not have interval training and it was very bulky, not something I would be wearing all day. So, I ended up returning it and getting the Fitbit Charge HR for all day fitness tracking and a separate Garmin watch for running. I am extremely happy with my Fitbit. The mobile app is very easy to use and gives you up to date stats on your activity. It also allows you to set goals and track other things, such as calorie intake and water consumption. These are things I never initially intended on doing, but have found to be easy and quite motivating. I am very happy with my purchase and recommend it to those looking to track their fitness levels.

Really helps with motivation and works pretty well the only problem I've had is the heart rate monitor sometimes does not show the heart rate other than that it's a pretty good device I got one for my 11 year old son and its helped him a lot to motivate him also.

Purchased the fitbit for my wife, she loves it and loves the ability to track everything including sleep patterns. The only complaint I've heard from her is the battery life. Needs to be recharged every 2 1/2 days or so, not a big deal and she loves it otherwise. Would still buy it again

Only complaint is the band initially came apart but was easily fixed. Otherwise it's great. Buzzes when you reach a desired goal for the day, you receive a call or have a set alarm. Heartrate seems to be on target, based on a comparison against a chest strap.

I like the features of the HR by itself, but add another HR in the house and at work and syncing becomes a real pain in the butt. Ive returned my HR once now and the fresh one seems ok, but it took a month or so to have issues. Hopefully this one will be ok.
